Oh! Look at that

beautiful light.

[hums]

[yells]

Help! Help!

Hey, somebody!

Somebody get me out of here!

Oh, my heroine!

- [kisses]

- [laughs]

Ziggy, stop, that tickles.

Come on, I didn't do anything.

What are you talking about?

You just saved my life.

I've never seen anyone so brave.

Well, if you insist!

I've got to go.

Be more careful next time.

There's Teddy!

- Teddy!

- Hey, what's he found?

[chokes]

Quick, he's choking!

- Oh!

- What's that in his mouth?

Why were you eating

a plastic bag?

- Are you crazy?

- I thought it was a sponge.

They're my very favorite candy.

[Lewis] Its scientific name

is clathrina contorta.

It's a type of calcareous sponge

and it looks almost exactly like

a plastic bag.

Teddy is saying there are

more and more bags in the bay.

It's super dangerous

for the turtles.

That's just great.

If this keeps up,

we'll have to install

underwater garbage bins.

We need a kind of machine to

clean all this junk in the sea.

Something to suck up everything

as it goes through the water.

Maybe one of those boats

with those big wheels that turn.

- Awesome idea, Cleo.

- [both laugh]

Not bad, but we need

something easy to handle,

like a water scooter.

That's it, a scooter vacuumer!

How do you plan on making this

little technological marvel?

I could transform my cousin's

old jetski to make a prototype.

I might even win the junior

inventors top prize with it!

[chuckles] I'm a genius!

He's actually serious about

that scooter vacuum thingy?

Yeah! [laughs]

- You sure it's going to work?

- We're about to find out!

- Are you coming?

- I'll watch.

[laughs]

Whoa!

[laughs]

No problem.

A few minor adjustments.

Presto!

This time it'll be great.

And we're off! [yells]

So then Rikki

lifted up the shell.

I was so scared.

I thought it was a shark or

an octopus. She saved my life.

- A shark?

- An octopus?

Oh, how horrible!

And he was almost eaten

by a shark.

I thought he was

talking about an octopus.

Fortunately, Rikki arrived

in time to save him.

Oh, incredible!

[mumbles] ...octopus.

Whoa! Amazing.

You're never going

to believe this.

A shark it must have been

at least.

A shark and an octopus,

can you believe it?

Hang on, Rikki

single-handedly fought off

a shark and an octopus

at the same time

just to save a clownfish?

That's what I heard. That's all

anybody is talking about.

She's a real heroine.

OK, that's the last one.

Now, show us

what you're made of.

Well, it's not doing

a lot of vacuuming.

Oh, it'll vacuum.

Just give it a little time.

Maybe it needs more power.

Hold on!

[strains]

What is that infernal racket?

I've almost got it!

Super!

What in the world is going on?

[screams]

[laughs]

Poor Carlotta.

I can just imagine her

stuck in the scooter vacuumer.

A scooter vacuumer.

Something tells me

that won't solve our problem.

Do you think it's Teddy?

What happened to him?

Some divers found him

choking on a plastic bag.

He went pretty long

without oxygen.

You think he's gonna be alright?

Let's hope so.

He was really lucky.

Without those divers

he'd have sunk like a stone.

[Mr Lambert]

These plastic bags are a plague.

It's gonna be a tough summer

for the turtles.

[all gasp]

Poor turtle. When I think that

it might have been Teddy.

Look, another one!

And always that same red logo.

Where are all these bags

coming from?

I think I know

the answer to that.

Candies, caramels,

marshmallows, lollipops!

Grab a little bag

and choose whatever you want!

Hey, I want to talk to you

about those bags.

There's a ton of them

being found in the sea

and turtles

have been choking on them.

It isn't my fault that people

throw bags all over the place.

Maybe you could try using

biodegradable bags.

Cleo, he's right,

he's just doing his job.

As long as people throw

their garbage anywhere,

there's no point in blaming him.

So what do you suggest we do?

Don't worry, I've got an idea.

And that's why we've got

to all work together

to keep the bay clean

and save the turtles.

Berny is going to show you

a photograph of a plastic bag.

Study it closely.

If you see one of these bags,

do not touch it.

And you little ones

who swim near the surface,

if you should see one,

warn a grown-up

such as Robby or Bobby,

Sue, Emma or me.

We'll bring the bags

over to the shore.

If we all do our part,

the bay will stay clean.

Don't worry about a thing.

We're here.

We're not afraid of anything.

We're ready to go to w*r!

Actually, we were only

talking about plastic bags.

She was looking right at me and

talking about young ones. Hm!

I'm not some insignificant

little shrimp.

Whoa, hang on a sec.

What the heck did you just say?

Huh?

[Lewis] Save the turtles!

- [crab 2] Sure is pretty!

too!

[crab 3] Wait, come back!

Huh? Holy moly.

Alert! Alert! Alert!

A plastic bag, a plastic bag!

No need to panic.

We'll handle it.

- The situation is...

- Under control.

[Carlotta screams]

[gasps] It's Carlotta!

[sobs]

Carlotta?

Oh, squiggly-do, my bad.

We thought you were

a plastic bag. It's my fault.

My eyesight is not

what it used to be.

- What's going on?

- Nothing serious.

Nothing serious? They mistook me

for a plastic bag.

I look like a tacky plastic bag?

Well, I never!

A-ha! Perfect timing.

This is a plastic bag.

Don't you see the difference?

It's pretty obvious, no?

Oh, I'm stuck!

[laughter]

[Carlotta screams]

Carlotta, what are you doing?

Get out of there.

I can't help it. I can't unstick

myself from this horrible bag.

Oh! She's incredibly beautiful

and brave!

Well, there's no need

to sting me.

[Carlotta] I'm sorry.

Rikki! Watch out for the boat!

Oh!

Oh! Hey!

Thanks, Emma.

Lucky you were there.

Huh? Oh, yes, I'm just fine.

Thanks for your concern!

Rikki, you can melt the ice now.

[cheering]

A fake scoop? What do you mean?

It's not very complicated.

We film a fake report showing

Teddy choking on a plastic bag.

And we just stand there filming

while Teddy is choking?

- Are you nuts?

- We'd be right beside him.

And he'd only be acting. Teddy

would be pretending to choke.

Isn't that kind of dangerous?

It's the only solution.

If we show people

what's really happening,

they won't be able to go on

doing nothing.

I agree with Rikki. We've got to

make noise if we wanna be heard.

Are you sure? It all seems

pretty radical to me.

- Anybody got a better idea?

- Hmm...

[Cleo] OK, catch!

Cleo, careful!

It isn't a waterproof camera.

Well, well. It looks like

I got here just in time.

Word has it

you're filming a news report.

I don't know where you heard

that, but you're wrong.

That's not what Kim told me.

I'm a reporter.

Did you think

I really wouldn't find out?

Hmm...

I may have mentioned a word

or two to Kim last night.

- Hey, what are you doing?

- Isn't it obvious, Lewis?

- I'm coming with you.

- No!

Sorry, but we don't need

anyone else.

Don't tell me you're planning

on filming with that.

[Lewis] Why?

What's wrong with my camera?

Are you serious?

I've got good equipment.

I know how to film

and I can broadcast on my blog.

Unless you'd rather go on

playing at being filmmakers

and show your little home movie

to your parents.

I think it would be best if you

and Cleo take her on the boat.

Rikki and I will get Teddy to

the surface at the right moment.

And if Abby sees you

as mermaids?

We'll be careful. And we can't

refuse. We're stuck with her.

She's got it in her head

that something is up.

She's not going to drop it.

There isn't enough space

for everybody in the boat.

Abby, if you're so determined,

you can take our place.

- Rikki and I really don't mind.

- Someone sensible. At last!

[Lewis] OK. All set, girls?

We're off!

[Cleo] See you later!

OK, nobody is around.

OK, so can you explain the

whole plastic bag thing to me?

And when Lewis drops the

plastic bag in the water,

you head up to the surface

and pretend to be choking on it.

- You think you can pull it off?

- I hope so.

We understand it's difficult for

you to relive this whole thing,

- so if you'd rather not...

- No, it'll be fun.

I'm just a little nervous.

It's the first time

I'm acting in a film.

[Bobby and Robby] Hello, girls!

You look like you're in a rush.

Being pursued by

a colony of oysters?

[both laugh]

We're sh**ting a film

and I'm the star!

- Shh!

- Huh? What?

A film? Where? When? Here?

- Right now?

- Uh, no. Uh...

Oh, I see. We're intruding.

We get the message.

We're out of here.

OK, come on, Bobby.

But... [seethes]

We're not going to miss

out on a chance like that.

A film! It could be the start of

a career in Hollywood,

- like our cousin Flipper.

- We're not missing out.

We're just waiting for the

right moment to show ourselves.

- You're a genius, brother.

- You betcha! What can I say?

Alright, we're here.

How do you know there'll be

turtles at this very spot?

I often come out here

with workers from the center

and there's a colony of turtles

that live around here.

[Lewis] OK, let's start rolling.

How about we start with

a few shots of plastic bags?

OK, Lewis. Rolling.

The plastic bag!

It's our signal.

OK, Teddy, it's time.

Are you gonna be alright?

[Rikki] It's showtime!

Look, Abby,

here comes a turtle now!

Okey dokey, brother,

this is our big chance.

Let's put everything we've got

into this.

There she is.

[all chatter]

It's her! It's her!

Oh, no, not them.

Go away,

we don't have time for this.

We just want one lock of hair,

each, and then we'll leave.

Are you kidding me?

Hit the trail!

[all complain]

Brilliant! Whoa!

They're crazy.

The boat is gonna tip!

Stop, you're going to

capsize the boat!

[laughs] We were amazing. Did

you see how excited they were?

I think he was trying to tell

us they want another take.

[struggles]

[chokes]

The turtle! It's choking.

We've got to do something.

No, Ziggy was just

stuck under a shell.

I helped him out, that's all.

It was no big deal.

Now back off.

Let her breathe a little.

- Just a lock.

- Hey! No, leave my hair alone.

Oh, no, Teddy!

Emma, no!

Abby will get you on film.

Guys, Teddy's in danger!

[both] Hmm?

[struggles]

- It's drowning.

- Take it out of the water!

It's too heavy. I can't!

Don't just sit there, help me!

Move aside!

[Teddy chokes]

Whoa, what a hero.

[all] What a hero!

- You OK?

- How did I do?

[both exclaim]

Hey, guys. I was just at

the Oceanic Center.

The turtle we helped out

is doing fine.

We should be able

to release it soon.

Super! We've got some good news,

too. Look!

Abby kept her promise.

She put her video

of Lewis saving Teddy online.

Lewis, you're a hero now!

Absolutely! A while ago, someone

even stopped him on the street

to congratulate him.

I must admit,

I'm beginning to see

that being a celebrity

does have its upsides.

[crowd chanting]

No plastic for you or me!

Cos it hurts

our friends in the sea!

No plastic for you or me!

Something tells me the candy

salesman has a little problem.

Check out that crowd.

The video is a hit

in Dolphin City.

I've received

hundreds of emails.

- [applause]

- Huh?

Hey, what's going on?

The candy stall guy has agreed

not to use plastic bags anymore.

- Great, huh?

- Super!

Thanks for the news.

The candy guy gave in. He's

stopped using plastic bags

in favor of recycled paper ones.

We won!

- Super!

- [all cheer]

I finally got rid of

those adoring fans.

What a relief.

It didn't take them

long to replace you.

In the end,

fame is pretty overrated.

Bet Lewis would agree. [laughs]

[all] Is that right, Lewis?

[muffled yells]

I tell you, it's him.

He looks even more awesome

in person.

I guess celebrity

has a few downsides, too.

[all laugh]
