until I read about this secret society

that wants to reintroduce
dragons into the wild. See?

They need dragon dads and moms

to help protect the dragon eggs
until they hatch.

Theodore, um, did you pay money
for this dragon egg?

Every cent I had!

You see, there's an evil troll king

who loves dragon-egg omelettes

and he'll do anything to find them.

Theodore, you know, I hate to say this,

but dragons, they're just a myth.
It's a story.

Theodore, you just lost all your money!

Yeah, yeah, really sensitive.

Nice going.

OK, the girls told me what happened.

to respect Theodore's mission.

I switched the dragon egg
with a fake one.
