is a threat to the safety of respectable

improbable chance not guilty

horatio pogwash you have been rightly

found guilty of the unspeakable crime of

piracy and i have much pleasure in

sentencing you to have your head chopped

off tomorrow morning at seven precisely

on chopping block hill

poor captain pogwash his crimes had

indeed caught up with him and on board

an hour later the church clock struck

seven and all the townsfolk were up

early making their way to chopping block

hill to witness the end of captain

pugwash then out of the prison gates at

the other end of the town

came the condemned man and his escort

the wretched captain was so frightened

that he kept his eyes tight shut in

sheer terror

splattering starfish i wish i'd stuck to

dry land

what have i done to deserve this

maybe if i'd be more generous with me

crew shed off the booty

but it's too late

in fact the captain was feeling so

miserable that he didn't notice that

they were going downhill not up and when

he did start to go up he thought it was

on to the scaffold

the razor there had his coat

straight i'll come off it captain you'll

be quicker than ever when you see where

you are precisely captain aboard your

own ship

we won't forget that bit about fair

shares for all of us quick get underway

before the crowd sees what's happened

and very soon the ship was sailing out

of the harbor with captain pugwash at

the wheel

thought they could chop me head off

indeed but i was too clever for him kept

me head in more ways than one hey tom

but tom was watching the angry crowd on

the keysight and he said nothing as the

ship gathered speed on another voyage to

strange lands and even stranger
