play if you like funny jokes it's what

you laugh if you like to dance to a

slamming sound and you're like having

lots of friends right um if you wanna

thirsty to lips by the rule that said is

cool little buddy you're about to see

your very best place you could be

yeah and especially you when you are

playing a game with a friend don't trust

the score to memory mm-hmm because each

player just might remember a different

score if you don't have a pencil here's

a great way to keep score it's fun too

you crumple up little bits of paper any

kind of paper newspaper a tissue and you

make ten little ba*ls for each player

here's ten for you come I got ten for me

and if you don't want to play with

little ba*ls of paper you can play with

ten paper clips and if you don't want to

play with paper clips you can play with

ten pennies actually you can do use ten

anything's you know and then when you're

playing the game is yours because you're

the other person when you're playing the

game every time one of the players

misses a point the winning player gets

to take one little thingy and add it to

his or her own collection and by the end

of the game the one who has taken all of

the opponents little thingies is the

winner on the winner these are mine mine

mine give me

okay and I'm folding that up I'm putting

it into the bag there we go and you name

and I crumpled it up and I put it into

the bag now you name another one but

crumpled it up and I put in the name

another one green peas growing the pains

okay and you name another one oh yeah

ninja - ninja turtles okay now I have

written a great many names on a great

many little pieces of paper right okay

would you reach into the bag and pick

out anyone do anyone do not look at it

just take it yes yes okay take it hold

it in your hand and now I'm going to

crumple up the rest of the papers and

I'm going to concentrate very hard

oh I'm concentrating and I think reading

your mind the one in your hand is Tiny

Toon Adventures look at it and what is

it to show them that I did it hooray for

me and now would you like to know how

you do this trick would you like to know

how the secret is rather goofy the first

thing he said was Tiny Toon Adventures

so I wrote Tiny Toon Adventures on the

paper no matter what anybody else said I

wrote Tiny Toon Adventures I wrote Tiny

Toon Adventures I wrote tiny nobody knew

that you didn't know that did you know

so no matter what I picked out of the

bag what did I pick out in tiny toon

adventures this is a trick where you

cannot make a mistake now we're going to

play a song game and everybody can do it

except for Huxley because Huxley doesn't

have fingers

she has paws but if you've got a finger

you've got a little boy

can I see your little boy and you can

lay your little boy down to sleep in the

palm of your hand and cover him with a

blanket and then in the morning he'll

toss off the blanket jump up and run

away to play play along with me get

jumps it's dressed waking runs to play

Says yeah yeah okay well this is a story

that's kind of like Simon Says don't you

think so yeah and this is a story about

how the most wonderful and famous Easter

music got written and every time you

hear me say the words stand up or he

stood up what are you gonna do stand up

that's what you can do at home every

time I talk about anybody standing up

you jump to your feet and stand up let's

practice that and so the king stood up

and then whenever I talk about anybody

sitting down or I say he sat down you

sit down all right have you got it it's

simple it's simple and so the story

starts the great composer George

Frederick Handel felt very honored

because the king of England had asked

him to write some music that would be

wonderful

Honda went to the palace and he are you

ready stood up in front of the King

because everybody stands up in front of

the king and he asked his majesty music

do you want me to write and the king

said said something traverses from the

Bible so Handel went home and he sat

down and he thought he thought and he

wrote his music

Honda went to rehearsal and in front of

the orchestra and the chorus he stood up

and he rehearsed them a lot he went home

that night and he sat down and he

worried the great composer worried

because Handel had written what he

called the Messiah which in Hebrew means

he who is the expected Savior or

deliverer and he named the last part of

his work the Hallelujah Chorus because

it begins praise the Lord and it's

filled with joy

well Handel wanted to come up with a

wonderful sound

do you know something with which to

begin this last section but handle did

not like what he had written and on the

night of the first performance of the

Messiah Handel are you ready

stood up in front of his orchestra

thinking to himself oh my chorus isn't

going to be so wonderful the king

arrived and the King sat down in the

Royal Box but when it came time for the

Hallelujah Chorus the king was so moved

that he actually stood up jumping to his

feet tears streaming down his face

because it was so beautiful everybody

expected the king to sit down but he

didn't do it well since no Englishman

remained seated while his King is

standing up everybody else in the

audience stood up as well it created a

sense of sensation you know the noise of

all of those people jumping to their

feet made such a racket that it created

just the sound that the composer Handel

was looking for for his Hallelujah

Chorus and until the very end of the

Hallelujah Chorus the king did not sit

down sit down and from that time until

this whenever there is a performance of

the Messiah and if you're really lucky

someday you'll get to go to hear a

performance of the Messiah tradition has

it that the moment the Hallelujah Chorus

begins the audience stands up jumping to

their feet and at the end of it what do

they do

make my last flee and become a poet yeah

I never heard of a dog poet what did you

dogs laughs my first poem is about Rita

a basset hound and her revenge on a

cruel master I'm all ears I could tell

shoes you know according to one ancient

Southwest Indian legend there were a lot

of Indian tribes that believed in one

main God and she was a kind of Mother

Nature figure well one day this Great

Spirit decided something was missing up

in the sky she had made the animals on

the earth and the fish in the sea but

there was nothing up in the sky so the

Great Spirit decided to create a bird

unfortunately she know what a bird

looked like so she borrowed a blanket

from the Indians and she folded it so

that one corner came over and met the

other corner and then she opened it up

once again she folded it so that one

edge came over and met the center line

that she had created there we go and she

folded it so the other edge came over

and met the other center line there we

go and now it looked like a teepee and

Indian tent keep out the cold she folded

one flap over to meet the other flap and

then she held it up

she realized that the bird was going to

exist both in the heavens and on earth

so she took the point that was pointing

up to the heavens and she folded them

down so that it pointed to the earth and

now it began to look like a bird because

you could see the head and the beak

she put her thumb underneath and her

pointer finger on top and pulled it down

between the two flaps to signify the

joining of heaven and earth she breathed

life into it and she had created a bird

and it began to eat and that was good

and that's how the bird was created

according to one ancient Indian legend

the dinner table and scientists look I

but you know they were playing my

favorite song by the slime buckets slime

I'm sure it's my go you're gonna go

you're gonna go all right you're gonna

go right to your room now no more

rapping do you understand no just shake

your head yes or no

now who wants to tell about school today

we'll share it they're gonna have a

talent show at Christmas in school

that's great isn't it yes and it's gonna

be a wonderful prize for the big winner

Giles what what kind of talent do people

gonna do at the talent show

oh they do all kinds of things you know

they sing they dance they tell jokes you

know all kinds of stuff oh that sounds

so nice I wish I could do something hey

listen you and me why don't we do

something together for the talent show

oh I love that so much all right after

dinner you're gonna leave we'll go and

um they'll figure out something we can

do

yes jolly Hollis hey guys I want to be

in the talent show - yeah oh yeah what

could you do you know things that I

think well exactly you haven't got any

Talent of course you do

surely was everybody has talent some

people are athletes some sing some dance

other people cook or sew or paint people

do lots of different things which one of

em is Nate well you don't have any

talent you can't play a musical

instrument you can I can't sell you

cannot sell cannot cancel cannot cancel

can so you cannot I know you can't you

don't take lessons and you don't

practice yeah well well if you're and

hushpuppy could play a musical

instrument ha ha I couldn't hey wait a

minute you guys come on calm down

everybody here is going to be in the

talent show

everybody you are all going to be

wonderful

except lamb chop

yeah it's bit your tongue it's bit

chipped under though I've never met you

I know something you can't do I bet your

bet you betcha I'll teach you how to do

what I propose

here goes this is one of those weird

benches that I cannot explain I'll only

show it to you what you can do it with

me close your eyes now watch me no

that's a joke no don't close your eyes

for a minute but I'm gonna do it if you

close your eyes and you bring your arms

out to the side and then you bend your

elbows and point your point your fingers

toward one another my eyes are closed

and bring your fingertips together

quickly you will not be able to make

your fingertips touch even though you

know right where they are here I go I

don't understand this closing my eyes

okay close your eyes and try it bring

your elbows up arms to the side point

your fingers at each other and just

bring them together quickly

oh I almost did it that time did you do

it ahh

is that wonderful it only took me six

tries try it try with your friends I bet

they won't be able to do it either just

don't tell them that I showed you such a

silly stunt these things anyway they

look so dumb I'm chopping your eyes yeah

why not I heard something strange I

thought you hurt yourself

no I was just looking for my talent but

I think I lost it

oh come on come on don't you remember

what I said at dinner

let's try keep your elbows off the table

all right don't talk with your mouth

full no no I said we have to find your

talent and then we have to work on it

I do not ensure you do sure you do what

do you love to do I love jokes um you're

a joke good right fire and then cross

the load why did the fireman cross the

road I give up doubt is dansa know

that's why he wore red suspenders

I thought he did that to get to the

other side we have time we have time

it's gonna be a Christmas show

oh honey we'll find something you love

to do hey hey what about that rap music

that you like so much really well I

don't know I mean what could you do for

Christmas I don't allow you to Christmas

you're that well how would it go um you

could go like this I'll be the wrapped

in Santa and you can bet I'll be the

coolest cat you've ever met

all the kids are gonna love me and the

old folks do on my back I'll have a pack

of toys with one all right empty lamb

chop what are you going to do for the

show today

my dog he's ready for story are you

ready for a story someone heard the wise

Queen say there's a surprise that's on

its way and whoever can find the

surprise in time can say this year the

surprise is mine from coast to coast the

people came to find the surprise that

had no name from a distant corner of the

city

they went down one coast it was quite

pretty but there was no surprise what a

pity so they went back up to the city

they came from a point across the land

to the other coast

it was quite grand but there was no

surprise at hand they went to the Queen

and they said we demand that you give us

a hint where shall we look we've bent

over backwards by hook or by crook we've

tried to find it surprise we've used our

minds we've used our eyes the Queen said

nothing the people were crushed back to

their homes the people rushed they

closed their doors and locked them tight

they shut their shutters to block out

the light and there they stayed

throughout the night but a group of kids

didn't stay in bed they went behind the

house instead and they searched high and

they stuck to it and they searched low

and said we can do it and when they saw

the surprise

they laughed it was funny because into

their arms hopped the Easter Bunny oh

I've been looking all over for you you

know since you and me is both doggies I

know you can understand what I say no

don't be ashamed it's real nice that we

can talk to each other you know look at

me won't you look at me I mean I just

love having conversations with you and I

gotta talk to somebody you know and you

never make fun of me when we have our

chance like old charley horse oh he

always makes fun in the unit

friend some people started singing it
