I'm feeling lighter now, but
this morning it was very heavy.

It's an important decision. One of
the biggest ones you'll ever make.

- The weight of it was...
- You're overwhelmed.

It's a shock for everybody.

To all of the people closest to
you, it is kind of hard to imagine

that you would make such a decision,
a weighted decision so fast.

- Quickly, yeah.
- Yeah.

[Garrett] I know you guys haven't
spent much time with her, but you will.

She's brilliant, and she's
very logical and considerate.

- What the hell is she doing with you then?
- [laughs] Yeah.

- So you're writing the…
- Yeah, the vows.

You aren't typically very spontaneous
when it comes to serious things.

- Yeah.
- And this seems spontaneous. [laughs]

- How'd you sleep last night?
- Really well.

And I thought that
was a great sign.

I didn't sleep well. Is
that not a good sign then?

- [laughing]
- You don't have to make a decision here.

- That's right.
- Yeah.

Even though Taylor and I
are sure about each other,

you're still making a decision.

And we promised each other

this whole time that we would
very much take it seriously,

and that I wouldn't get up there

and say yes unless I
was absolutely sure.

As sure as I can be in this
moment and her as well.

So I've been doing my best to
really honor that, and if I say yes,

it's, like, a very
honest answer.

[Dawn] It's a heavy decision.

It's a lofty decision.

It's one of the biggest things
that you'll ever decide.

Or else you'll be regretting it like your
mother's done for the last 35 years now.

I know one thing you've been
worried about is going to San Diego

and traveling around,
not being around.

But having a wife and having a
family, having somebody like Taylor,

these are all things I wasn't
sure were in the cards for me.

I didn't think anyone was out there for me
that I would totally feel compatible with

and comfortable with and who would
challenge me in the right ways,

but also, like, was caring
and humble and respectful.

I'm so grateful.

I'm so grateful to have found Taylor
and to feel the way that I feel.

Um, I think I'd be a
fool not to act on it.

- I know that feeling.

Yeah.

Your mind's made up. I don't have any
intention of trying to talk you out of it.

You're a very smart,
intelligent man.

Being married and
having a family

is no doubt one of the happiest things
that can happen to you in your life,

and I'm glad that you get the
opportunity to experience that.

great human being too.

She has to be for you to
have fallen for her so hard.

- We got married on the 13th. Yeah.

that I hadn't felt before

and that I never thought
I would ever find

that magnetic connection
that we talked about,

and then to have that
just buoyed by seeing you.

And I did not think it was
possible to feel this way,

finding a partner that I just think
is so perfectly matched for me,
