When Traci got diagnosed,
it didn't seem real at all.

It still doesn't.

I have cancer."

I wasn't strong enough to watch
Traci take her last breath.

I can't lose this weight

all my emotions.

bed every night for two years.

about the show coming back?

I'm a little leery.

Ever since everything
happened with Traci,

I would have thought
that maybe it would have

with the hospice doctor
and the nurse,

that's when I found out.

At the time, you and Traci
were, kind of at odds though.

That's something
that I still struggle with,

because I don't understand
why I was the last to know.

As a man, I'm trying
to figure things out myself.

Every time Kevin Jr.
is contacting a family member,

it's an emergency.

But we wanna make it clear
to him

that we're here
for him to lean on

whenever he needs to talk to us.

wedding bells any time soon?

my past health scare

It's a big stage show,


and the show will be running
for 20 weeks.

Woman: Okay, folks, if everybody
can be quiet on stage,

because we are going to
run a cue.

Toni: Being able to sing
and dance is so physically

and mentally demanding.

I just recently recovered
from bronchitis

and my doctors cleared me,
that's great,

but I keep losing my breath
with the heart situation.

So keep telling myself pace it,

pace it, singing and dancing,
singing and dancing.

to be here, guys.

when you decided to do this,

was it a no-brainer?

But what everybody doesn't
know is it was two-sided.

But the other part
of it is

I didn't want everybody to know
that I had alopecia.

Okay. Alopecia?Yes.

I decided to finally share
my alopecia diagnosis

with the world,

and I just think
that by me speaking up

and letting everybody know
that I'm not ashamed of it,

it'll help other people,

because it's nothing
to be ashamed or afraid of.

What was it that made you say,
"I'm gonna tell people"?

'Cause nobody would have known.Hell no.

[Laughs]You could have just kept it.

So I was going to start
my skincare line,

and the lady who
I was doing it with, she said,

"Do you know what, sis, I think
you should tell everybody."

I didn't want to proceed
with that without Sean knowing.

So I immediately went
downstairs and I said,

"Yeah, so, honey,
so, I got off the phone and,

you know, I have alopecia,
right,

so, so yeah,
what she wanna do ..."

Ray:
You snuck it in there.

Just, like,
very matter of fact.

I did it just like that,

and then you know how he is,
he was like,

"Hold up, wait, we are not
going to skip over that.

We're gonna talk about that.
Like, what?"

Okay, how long have me and Sean
been knowing each other?

It's been over 30 years,
and I hid all of this from him.

Knowing that I have his support
and his love,

I can conquer the world
by letting everybody else

know that it's okay to come out
to say if you got alopecia.

It's alright.

It stands for alopecia.

I have a lot of regret,

because, you know, I didn't
really get a chance to...

I didn't get a chance to be the
sister I wanted to be to her.

family, we had our differences."

But not so big.

But I love my sister.She says, "I know that."

She says,
"I am apologizing to you today."

I just feel like
it's my apology.

I knew that we didn't have the
best relationship all the time.

But at the end I really
did try to be there for her,

be a good sister,

and I just don't think I had
enough time to make it right.

She's got her arms

I know the love you have for me.

Moments that we shared
before my passing were special.

it meant a lot to me."

She says, "It's not about time.

You showed me your love
and your support."

She says, "That's what matters,

I knew that the times

that Traci and I connected
before she passed

meant a lot to her,

'cause it meant even more
for me.

We had some really serious,
hard,

but amazing conversations.

We both profusely
apologized for, you know,

just misunderstanding
as sisters and things.

It was beautiful because
I really got to know my sister,

and what I always want to do
is honor her.

Honor how amazing of a human
she was while she was here,

and also,
she's even more amazing now.

She says, "My only wish today
is to see my sisters

and to see my family united."

Because her death,

instead of bringing all of you
together to grieve

as a family has created a bit
of division and separation.

I have been through hell
and back a couple times,

and I still have a lot of work
to do, I'm not perfect.

But my commitment to myself
is to always show up

as my best self
and to show up for my mother

and to show up for my sisters
when they need me to be.

I haven't always been
the best sister,

and I haven't always been
the best support system.

But I've grown a lot
and for me to show up for them

now is what I really,
truly wanna do.

And that's why her cancer
was esophageal.
