Previously on "Follow Me..."

The influencers got glammed up for an Orbit challenge,

and it was Jacy that had all the right moves

to take the $1,000 challenge prize.

Jacy.

But the influencers knew they had to step up

their showcase posts if they wanted to avoid

joining Obé in the elimination lounge.

This week, the influencers get the chance to work with Snickers

in this week's challenge.

And the competition heats up with influencers

trying their creative best to stay in the game

and avoid elimination.

The person being eliminated tonight is...

It's all happening right now on "Follow Me,"

presented by FilmRise.

Let's get it!

Getting eliminated,

it didn't feel great in the moment.

However, it's something that is going to push me

to do better content.

I'm just going to name my position

the emotional support human for everybody.

Now that I'm eliminated, I will be...

- Smile! - ...taking on a new title

for you all until I get back in the competition.

I am one of the most determined people anybody would meet.

I want this experience to be the best experience it can be.

My whole life, my parents always been,

Honestly, I think I made too much noise

in the first episodes.

I'm ready to just grow every day and be better.

And getting out this early I feel like is a blessing,

'cause it just means that I'm gonna have more time

to focus on that final post

and that final, like, getting back in.

Pressure is heating up.

I feel like everyone's been saving their good ideas.

And I really have to start brainstorming some good things

and make some fire content.

Obé and Zack, you both have been eliminated at this point,

but you guys are still both eligible

to play in the challenges,

and still able to win the $1,000 in Bob's Bucks,

so there's definitely something to still play for.

Now, nobody is perfect,

and everyone can relate to making rookie mistakes.

But how you get back on your game

is what can really help you win in life's awkward moments.

In this satisfying Snickers challenge,

we're gonna want to see video posts

of how you can overcome hilarious rookie mistakes

that we've all faced in everyday life.

To help coach you through these rookie mistakes,

we have "Dancing With the Stars'" Alan Bersten.

Oh my God, I feel like I'm about to do a dance with him.

I am just seeing me and him on the stage together

But of course, it's a dream.

In this challenge, we have some rookie mistakes

in these four envelopes.

So, we will be pairing off into boy-girl teams.

- Oh! - Our first pairing

is Zack and Julia.

All right, Zack and Julia, since you are the first chosen,

you guys get first pick of any of these envelopes.

So, come on up here and read it out loud for everybody.

What are we thinking?

Okay, I think we just wrap our heads

around four different encounters, right?

Some of the other contestants got to dance

for the dancing host, and me and Jacy

are stuck in a Zoom call.

I've been having so much fun with Jacy.

She's continually challenging me.

- Hey! - I think that's funny, and...

Are you on that damn Zoom call again?

Don't use the word "Zoom."

I'm stoked, because I think Joe is a creative genius.

Don't tell him I said that, but I'm pretty excited

that he's my partner for this one.

Despite it feeling like it's all going wrong,

it actually helps me plead my case

that I'm deserving of the job,

'cause I deal well with distractions.

I know that I'm gonna be able to edit,

and she's gonna be able to write the story.

Oh, and then it's like, "Oh, sh**t!"

- Yeah, yeah, yeah. - And then it's almost like

I got the job because he's like, "Don't tell anybody about this."

- Yeah. - So, what I'm thinking is,

basically we are going on a date,

so it's like, we show the prep.

Me and Zack make such a good team,

and I feel like his creativity, my editing skills,

our dancing skills and flexibility,

it's gonna be magic.

I can do the splits, she can do the splits.

And then we split our pants.

It's gonna be like the perfect pairing.

- I love, love that. - Yeah?

You are the sports celebrity and I'm gonna be the fan girl

that gets stuck talking gibberish.

I was thinking faint.

- You know what I'm saying? - I like that.

I can nail not being cool,

'cause that's happened to me so many times.

So, pssh, we got this in the bag.

And the second time that you catch me.

- Yeah, yeah, I just be like... - And then, yes, yes!

Wait, wait, wait, you definitely go this way.

How am I supposed to tie a tie

when you're facing the back?

I see a tie, and I see that the tie

is not already pre-tied,

and I'm just like, oh no, this is not gonna be good.

Why would you pick this challenge

if you don't know how to tie my tie?

Doing everything for this group.

You know, I counted on Olivia

to be able to kinda tie the tie for me.

I was more so just absolutely disgusted

that she did not know how to tie my tie.

- Try to like... - Yes, I get your nervous,

I get it's the first day of work, but just focus.

I think it's something like this.

That's not on me. He said it was my fault.

I-- why would I need to tie a tie?

Okay, well, now I'm super nervous,

so I'm gonna go over here and do it myself.

Yeah, you're bashing me.

I think every team is going to experience

some speed bumps.

- You know how to tie a tie? - Yes.

- Please. - Oh, it's a skinny tie.

I don't how he's this little L.A. influencer

and he doesn't know how to tie a tie.

You didn't know a single thing about tying this tie, Olivia.

I knew more than you did, for sure.

Well, there's a lot of yelling going on over here.

It's the first day of work, she's nervous,

it gets there, it's okay.

I was able to help them out there a little bit,

but hopefully not too much,

'cause I could've used that to my advantage

by not helping them.

I don't know if they're self-destructing on their own,

so they can have this one.

So, today we're doing a Snickers challenge.

Theme is rookie mistakes, and how can you overcome that?

Oh, no!

It's okay, I remember everything.

I lost my tripod, so apparently

we're the team that loses things.

Olivia, hurry up, time's ticking.

All right, all right, all right.

Oh, I stubbed my toe!

Oh!

Babe! I'm on a video call!

So, our awkward moment is gonna be that I am gonna trip

in front of Obé,

and he is going to step over me

as if he does not have a care in the world for me.

Now, let's do it. We didn't record it.

Obé, I just threw myself on the ground for you.

Yo, I'm sorry, I'm sorry.

Guys, nobody pressed record.

Was it my responsibility?

I am starting to feel a little stressed out

with how many times I'm falling here

and how quickly time is just racing by.

Go.

Our energy is really, really great.

Obé's working me so hard.

We better win.

With him kind of encouraging me,

we can accomplish this task, and maybe even win it.

All we need is 30 minutes to edit.

I love working with Zack

because he has so much faith in me,

and in my concepts, and in my creativity.

- I just have... - No, we got it.

- Okay, okay, okay. - Trust me.

Wherever I placed the camera,

he was fine with it, and he didn't doubt me at all.

- Perfect. - Okay.

- Should we go? - Yeah.

Okay, yeah, that'll work.

- Am I in frame? - That'll work.

Okay, cool.

We were able to collaborate really well,

but she definitely took charge

on the filming and editing process.

On the wrong clip.

I know, I hate it when it does that.

I feel like my strengths would include a leadership role.

The production of this went very smooth, to be honest.

I love making parodies,

so making a fake Zoom call was a lot of fun.

And we got the "Yoooooooom" call set up.

I think that looks like an interview outfit.

Have the lines on your computer, and we're good to go, baby.

- Listen... - Let's give it a go.

I know immediately that I'm gonna sh**t it

off of the MacBook

to literally give it the Zoom call feeling.

I would say my strengths include my leadership skills.

- I really love guiding... - Sharleen!

So, we actually film all those scenes pretty quickly,

because it just needed to be one take on a webcam.

I'm always saying 30 seconds isn't enough time.

Now, I'm saying a minute isn't enough time.

We'll make it work.

In our Snickers rookie mistake,

you spill water on your boss on your first day at work.

So, we knew instantly we can make this

into a little movie.

- That looks fire. - That's fire.

We definitely are taking an approach

that is more cinematic versus content-y.

Yeah, so it's my first day, and I'm kinda nervous,

and my boss is actually kinda cute.

I'm having the most fun during this challenge.

That was good. That was real good.

That was good.

This is definitely more in my wheelhouse.

I feel like we're pretty solid on what we're doing

and how we're executing it.

My left side's definitely my better side.

The only thing I'm a bit worried about

is going on to the editing table.

I've actually never been happier in my life

No matter what button I press,

I get the opposite action.

I feel like Zack and I both know

that I am the stronger editor.

I was having a nice little edit going along,

and all of a sudden, just Premiere closed.

So, if that's not a rookie mistake,

I don't know what is.

The hardest part about this challenge

is definitely the editing.

You have to sh**t vertically or else it won't fit.

Yeah, that's a rookie mistake right there.

To have premises that you have to deliver

in 30 seconds that meet the requirements

that are necessary to win the challenge

is a doozy, to say the least.

- And... - Yes!

and I lost my confidence.

I did all of the filming at home.

The idea comes across my mind as I'm ordering food online.

And then I'm like, oh my God, this is so relatable.

I literally just ran to get my food delivery,

waited for the delivery person to leave,

had like a mini heart attack,

and I decided to make a video on it.

I've been at the bottom twice.

It's nerve-wracking, I don't wanna be there again.

But it's not gonna stop me from putting my all

into this competition.

My showcase post is about what actors

are thinking during an audition.

Don't forget to listen, not just recite.

And if it works, it works.

If it doesn't, I like the content I made.

I like talking about my passion, and that's what I did.

I'm gonna try to put something out there

that's nothing like any of my other posts.

This week was all about rookie mistakes,

and to be quite honest,

that is one of the biggest issues

that I have in my personal life.

So, with this post, I'm kinda showing that, like,

I'm done with this negative monologue.

I'm done with feeling like mistakes are, like, evil,

and like, something that is horrible to go through.

I'm really starting to learn from this process

that the mistakes are what's helping me be better.

Like, I'm learning from video to video.

I'm gonna strip it away and just be my authentic self.

I'm currently editing in the studio,

and it saves me a lot of anxiety.

I'm not panicking, I feel good.

I can really take the time to add in such minor details

and make sure the transitions are smooth.

I need the reaction of the greater audience

to prove to me that my post is worth it.

The whole shirtless strategy

is gonna be a trademark in my videos.

Actually, no one else can have that strategy in their videos,

otherwise I will come for them and I will sue them.

I'm the only one that can make shirtless content

in any sort of video on the internet,

and I better not see another video out there that's the same.

I think that works.

That's just a different lane for another different audience,

and I like to just attract as many eyes

as absolutely possible, and be the biggest entertainer

in the world one day.

I've been in the bottom two both eliminations.

I feel pretty good about my post.

It's not what I would usually do,

but I hope it resonates with the audience.

I'm being really authentic this week,

and embracing the theme that it's okay to be imperfect.

I got a little deep, and I revealed a little bit

of the things that kinda make me feel down,

and can make me feel in the dumps.

I made a little dance video.

It's not the best, but it don't matter.

We're focusing on the votes.

My message is definitely showing that, listen, mistakes happen.

to regain that confidence, regain that momentum.

who have been doing it for years.

Do you feel that you've made improvements individually

or from working together?

Yeah, I think I did make improvements working with Obé.

I feel like he kinda initially told me, like,

And I was thinking, like, is that even possible?

And I didn't listen to him, and it was a minute video,

and sure enough, when you guys saw the video,

the feedback was, "This was too long.

You could have cut it right there," and I was like...

You have such a unique style, I love it.

But how was the process for you

in having to share the creative with Jacy?

I'm gonna be honest. Jacy's kinda a great teammate.

We had a good time, and things got a little rocky

towards the end, through no fault of our own.

But we made some adjustments,

and I still think we came up with a great video.

And now, it is all about the showcase post.

or not, and made an original piece of content

that has been shared with the VersusGame universe.

I tried to make it a little funny this week,

so I'm glad it resonated.

Well, Julia, I can tell you this.

It was a tough loss in the challenge

when you were paired with Joe.

How do you feel like this affected your showcase post?

I think it actually motivated me a little bit more.

I was able to learn a lot from Joe working with him.

He has a different process

in how he goes about creating his content.

But I think we were a little disappointed in our result,

so I really wanted to channel that energy

into the showcase post.

When I'm in a depressive episode,

I struggle to take care of myself.

But these are some of the ways

I simply do my best during the tough days.

Sometimes brushing my teeth feels like moving a mountain,

so I keep a disposable toothbrush on my end table

to do it mindlessly.

For those nights where I don't have the energy

to cook a meal, I always keep frozen dinners on hand,

because a microwave meal is better than no meal.
