01x03 - It's a Plant Guy!

Post by bunniefuu »

[clock ticking]

[violin music playing]

[Simu Liu] It's only been

two days inside the house

and already Kim is itching to escape.

Either that or the wig

is giving her a rash.

I should [bleep] run right now.

If I could find a green light.

[Simu] Lucky for her,

I've left one door unlocked

for over two minutes now,

but none of my perceptive pals

have noticed.

So, if Kim wants to escape,

she's got about a minute left

to find the unlocked door

that could lead to a bunch of cash.

[Kim] I dream of having a glass of wine.

Dream of it right now, guys.

I'm only on day two,

so if I get a chance

to get out of this house, I'm out.

[Simu]

The money clock is still climbing,

but $225,000

would definitely buy a lot of wine.

[Rashad]

What are you doing up there?

-Keeping an eye out.

-[Rashad] Yeah.

[Kim]

So, I'm walking down

Oh, my God, I think it's green, bro.

I actually see

that it's green on the door

and I was like, "Holy sh*t."

The pot's a decent size

and I am desperate

to get out of this house.

Wait, can people steal it?

You would know.

Throughout the night or no?

Yeah, 24/7 game.

[Clare] I'm keeping my head

on a swivel for everybody.

I certainly don't want people getting out

and taking that big pot of money.

-Clare, when are you jumping?

-When am I jumping?

[Doodles]

Yeah, what-what's your number?

When are you going?

Is it 500?

Probably.

-What about 400?

-Five hundred.

-Four fifty?

-It would take a lot. It would take a lot.

I gotta work off these cookies, man,

and the frosting.

Nothing better happen in the middle

of the night, that's all I gotta say,

'cause I'll be sleeping hard tonight.

[dramatic music playing]

[Kim] I'm looking

at this door that's open.

Holy crap, I'm gonna make a run for it.

Like, who cares?

Take it and go, man. I wanna go home.

I wanna see my dogs, my kids.

I w-- I wanna go home.

In fact, if I can get

the hell out of this house alone,

I'm going to, and take it all.

[mysterious music playing]

I can get outta here.

[bleep] me.

[dramatic musical flourish]

[Clare] I'm keeping

my eye out on everybody.

I can't be sitting around waiting.

[gasps] Oh, my God.

[alarm blaring]

[blaring continues]

How did they know

I opened this [bleep] door?

How'd you know?

'Cause I watched her leave

with her tennis shoes on.

What-What-What-What happened?

-Kim tried to leave through there?

-[Clare] Yes.

-[Cynthia] Did you guys see her?

-[Clare] Yes, I saw her.

Way to go.

-[blaring continues]

-[bleep].

[laughs] Kim tried to get out right there

and Clare just saw her and hit the button.

[Clare] So many different ways

you can get out,

ways you can hack the system,

ways you can step on people's game.

Like, nobody's gonna be

getting any sleep here.

Yeah, Kim!

I didn't go. I-I-- [bleep].

Clare hit the button?

It's virtually impossible

to escape this house.

So many people in the tower,

so many people at the buzzer,

so many people watching the driveway.

Everybody's like flies on sh*t in here.

I probably will have to change

my strategy a little bit.

She's just such a [bleep] pain in the a*s.

-[bleep].

-She

[indistinct chatter]

-She's sick. Like

-watched, and then ran back?

Mind your [bleep] business, you stupid

She's like a stalker.

Look, if I get a chance

to get out of this house again, I'm out.

But so many things

have to align for this to happen.

So, send prayers, guys.

This is a [bleep] prison.

I'm-- They need to turn

the AC on then 'cause I'm hot.

[dramatic music playing]

[Simu] Twenty strangers

locked in a house trying to escape

and steal a prize

climbing to a million dollars.

What's stopping them?

Each other.

-What's at stake?

-[alarm blaring]

[Susan]

Hit the button!

-[Spencer] Hit the button!

-[Simu] Everything.

What's heating up?

The germs in the hot tub.

This is Got to Get Out.

Come on, Kim, the chardonnay was chilled

and waiting for you.

If only you knew how locks worked.

Let me just try

to explain it to you, okay?

So, when you see red,

that means the window or door is not open,

but when it turns green,

that actually means

you can leave the house.

Red bad, green good.

Got it?

[Spencer]

Oh, look who it is.

Same place, same time, same chair.

So, you're just too slow?

You couldn't make it?

I just opened the door

and I was like, "Nah."

No, the button got hit on you.

Sweetie, I opened the door

and I didn't do anything.

-and the button went off.

-[Kim] No, okay.

I'm gonna kick Spencer's a*s.

You just had a green light and blew it.

I mean, if it makes sense, I'm gonna go.

That did not make sense.

You walked down those stairs

by the pool to the door

to just look at the green button?

I opened the [bleep] door

and I closed the [bleep] door.

What's the difference?

What's the point? What's your point?

Oh, I'm just curious.

I-- There's no point.

Kim and I get along great.

[Simu] Spencer, blink twice for help.

Like, this is, like,

[bleep] middle school, bro.

I do hang out with a six-year-old a lot.

Your tactic of getting me

[bleep] riled up,

so that you can plot and plan

and get your a*s out of here

is not gonna happen.

I would never try

to get you riled up.

I just love the intensity

she brings to this game.

And I definitely think Kim would say

that she loves me, a hundred percent.

You're [bleep] up. Like, you're psycho.

Like, you're, you're nuts to be

making up some kind of sh*t like that.

-Looking at you gets me [bleep] riled up.

-[Spencer laughs]

[whimsical music playing]

[Simu]

Okay, those two need a timeout,

but these two might need a chaperone.

[Athena V.]

Hello, hot stuff.

[Doodles]

Hello, hello.

Look at you all tatted up.

I got a couple.

Athena and I have been getting close

over the past couple days

and, for me, this is an opportunity

to build one of

the strongest relationships in this house

that no one will see coming.

It's a nice big stingray over here.

-A stingray, huh?

-Yeah.

I do have a strategy with this.

You know,

flirt with the guys a little bit.

Have them tell me their information

or they think I'm too stupid

to understand what they're saying

and then just talk freely in front of me.

How long you been single for?

Mm, about three years actually.

-Really?

-Yeah.

Oh, wow.

Just haven't found anybody

that I really vibe with.

-Really?

-Yeah.

[Athena V.]

Hmm.

People always perceive me

as the dumb blonde, the ditsy girl.

The girl that just cares

about looking hot, high heels.

Little do they know, I'm a mathematician.

-[bell dinging]

-Wait, what do you do, by the way?

[laughs] I don't actually know.

-We'll get into that another day.

-Okay.

Athena is not sharing as much

as I need her to,

but she has been making eyes at me

and I'm like, "Okay."

This Greek goddess over here,

she's fallen right into my arms.

Wanna sit out

for a few seconds before we--

You getting,

you getting a little hot?

-I'm getting a little hot.

-Alright.

[Athena V.] I think

Doodles is very distracted

by, um

my water balloons.

-[Doodles] I like the top.

-You like it?

-Yeah.

-Thank you.

-It's nice.

-Yeah, I thought the design was cute.

[Doodles]

Very cute.

[Simu] Wow, that first date

was so authentic.

I think we're seeing the beginnings

of a classic love story here.

I can't wait for hometowns.

With three days in, seven to go,

and zero successful escapes

Nooo!

[Simu] clearly, these masterminds

are gonna need all the help they can get.

Ooh.

[Simu]

New game plan.

[Demi]

Hello? Guys?

Yeah?

Can I please get everyone

to gather in the living room?

[Omarosa]

Sure, fairy princess.

-[Demi] Thank you, fairy godmother.

-[Omarosa laughing]

Everybody to the living room, please.

We all came here with big ambitions

and our eyes on making a lot of money,

but it's just so hard to make an escape.

And as the money clock gets higher,

your relationships need to solidify more.

So, everyone here's on edge.

"It's recycling day

and the manor takes this seriously."

[Simu] Yeah, that's right, Demi,

I care about the planet.

So, for this new task,

I'm recycling yesterday's recycling bins.

Trigger warning, Steve.

Hearing the words "recycling bins"

is a nightmare.

[echoing]

Please come get me.

"Out front are six recycling bins.

"Each one of the bins

contains an exit strategy.

The problem is they've all been shredded."

Damn, I dressed all hot

like we were gonna be running or whatever.

[Demi] "Split yourself

into groups of three.

"When the door opens,

go grab one bin per group

and piece together

your group's exit strategy."

[Simu] My friends

will have to piece together

their shredded evidence

to find their exit strategy.

But the exit strategy

will only be revealed

if they solve their puzzle in time.

With a bunch of cash on the line

and only an hour to get it done,

they better be careful who they work with.

-Go!

-[Athena V. screams]

Let's go, let's go.

[Rob] The challenge is

just announced

and I'm teaming up

with Cynthia and Athena, the firefighter.

I think that these two are smart women,

they're strong women,

and I think that we're gonna be able

to complete this challenge.

This is complicated!

Oh, sorry, I'm in the way, aren't I?

My squad today is Spencer and Stein.

I know that Stein's really smart.

He's such an incredible human.

He's always happy,

he's always willing to help.

And I know Spencer actually is too.

I just clown around with him sometimes.

Alright, let's go.

[Jill]

Oh, my God!

Yeah, not too much, not too much.

There we go.

-Alright, Doodle.

-Oh, my Lord.

-Oh, my God.

-Oh, my God.

[Clare] Oh, hold on. There's strips.

I see the strips.

Here I am thinking we're coming here

to, like, jump outta planes,

swim in alligator-infested water,

and we're digging through garbage cans.

[Rashad] It's gonna be

shredded somewhere, right?

[Shane]

Are they serious with this sh*t?

I'm working with more strips of paper

than I've ever seen in my life.

Ah, come on!

And trying to piece the puzzle together

and line up

so you can read

what the words say.

Ugh.

[Rashad] Bro, good luck

cleaning all this crap up.

[Stein]

Think we need to filter it fast.

I don't even see anything

written on this sh*t.

[Stein]

Exactly. Exactly. Look for black.

-Like, imagine--

-[Kim] Thank you.

I don't wanna put my a*s

on this [bleep] nasty floor

if you're gonna--

[Stein]

It's actually not that bad.

Well, you just keep--

You're doing great, sweetie.

-Keep up the good work.

-[all laughing]

[Stein]

Kim and Spencer.

Kind of the two most, like,

notorious veterans.

[Kim]

Spenc-- what are you doing?

I had separated piles, you [bleep].

Oh, my God.

Spencer, I knew you'd be just like this.

-[Stein and Spencer laugh]

-I [bleep] knew it.

[Stein] I just met these,

uh, reality TV celebrities,

and I'm just trying to figure out

what the strengths are,

which I don't really know.

I was born in the outdoors,

like, practically lived under a rock.

I've never been involved in anything

like this before in my life.

[Kim]

I [bleep] knew it.

Just come over here

and drop a bunch of paper

on my [bleep] already set piles.

Oh, you know what, Doodles?

I'll organize it.

-'Kay.

-And then you can start putting

-the puzzle pieces together, yeah.

-Start putting 'em together?

Am I, like, the third wheel over here?

[Simu]

Yeah. Yeah, you are.

-No.

-[Doodles laughs]

[Omarosa]

Athena V. and Doodles.

I mean, this is the most unlikely pair.

Not possible.

Alright, Doodles.

I'm using this challenge

to see how both Omarosa and Athena tick,

and maybe get a little closer to Athena.

I'm just gonna keep

feeding to you these ones.

[Doodles]

Feed me what, Oreos?

-[Athena V.] [scoffs] Yeah.

-Ooh.

[Athena V.]

I'll do that for you.

I'm gonna feed

all those Oreos to you, baby.

-[Doodles laughs]

-Oh, my God.

"Not your escape point."

Great, lovely.

Just wasted a bunch of time.

[Simu] Oh, yeah, sorry.

Did I forget to mention the decoys?

Right, so, each bin contains

extra shredded puzzles to throw them off

because, obviously,

I can't make this too easy.

"Team spends too much time

looking for useless clues."

That was, that was a waste.

[Simu] See? This gives them nothing

and they really should get going

because the clock is ticking

with only 30 minutes left.

-[clock ticking]

-[dramatic music playing]

[Athena S.] I need tape.

How can we tape this sh*t together?

It's just a pain in the [bleep] a*s.

It's miserable.

Ooh, found a match.

[Val] This looks like my tax paperwork.

-That I would shred.

-[both laughing]

[Shane] This is making

me feel, like, incompetent.

I-I don't even think

the pieces are all here.

She's crushing it.

Girls rule, boys drool, man.

[Demi] We're in the middle

of this challenge

and my team?

Completely worthless.

These are two athletes, 'kay?

They are useless when it comes

to anything not muscly, I suppose.

[Shane] How long

is this gonna take other teams?

[Rashad]

Unless they got three Demis

'cause she looks like

she's the only one figuring it out.

I don't put, like, little m-mini puzzles.

Like, the size of my hands

it's not gonna work.

"O-P-P."

"Oppor-titty."

"Opperty."

-I said, "Oppor-titty."

-[Rashad laughs]

[Kim] Don't come over here again

with your [bleep] paper.

Just hand 'em to me

in my hands, Spencer.

I can't take this sh*t another day.

The [bleep] heat,

the lack of alcohol.

I'm going to get

the [bleep] outta here today.

-I promise you.

-[laughs]

I just know we're on a time crunch

and we have to get

these "puzzles" put together ASAP.

I have the word "window."

-We need a "R."

-Here it is, "R."

[Susan]

Look, there's an "A" right there.

There's an "A."

[bleep]. Get over here

and hold this sh*t so we can hurry up.

-Look at the bottom.

-Ah, here's the number.

[Susan]

Look at the bottom.

It's gonna say a window or a time.

[Rob gasps, whispers]

Oh, my God.

It says, "Escape location, the"

[Rashad]

Here, the color orange.

[Stein]

Okay. Room, room, room, room.

I wanna say the green room?

-"This room's window at 2:00."

-[Doodles] That's probably it.

Yes. Teamwork.

-We did that.

-[Doodles] Woo!

[Rashad] 'Cause this is orange.

It's gonna be the orange room.

[Shane] Two, four

[Shane/Rashad]

three, five, zero, zero.

The orange room at 243.

That is our time to go.

[Stein] Six, six, zero.

Just remember those numbers.

For sure. That's our escape.

Like, that's our [bleep] escape.

We did what we had to do.

We did our job and I'm super impressed

that we all worked together

and actually accomplished this as a team.

-For sure. For sure.

-[Kim] We're outta here.

-[buzzer buzzes]

-I'm ready.

[Simu]

I'll bet.

Three teams have pieced together

their exit strategies

and now, have exit times

and locations to aim for.

[Athena S.]

Damn it.

[Simu] The rest of the house that failed

will have to stay on defense,

protecting the pot

until their time comes to escape.

[Clare]

Steadfast.

-Knew I'd find you up here.

-Yeah.

-Why did that just wind me?

-I was thinking about you.

I was like, "God, we're so much alike."

I haven't gotten a clue

and I'm so disappointed.

It hurts. It's painful. It's so emotional.

If I'm not in control, I get anxious.

You don't need to say anything else.

Ugh, it's, it's a hard thing being here.

It's not easy.

I just wanna win something.

I wanna, like, be good at something here.

This game is not what I expected it to be.

[Simu]

Wow, big feelings up on the tower.

Look, mansion life isn't for everyone.

So, you hear the music

and you feel it and you go like this

and like this and then you spin around.

[Simu] But, honestly,

three days with these roommates,

and I'd be crying

from the lookout too.

[Athena V.] I have an exit strategy

with Omarosa and Doodles.

But what the hell do I do?

It's too soon to leave

and not enough money.

I don't know, how much money

would we make?

-That would be a lot, isn't it?

-About 70 each.

Yeah. I don't wanna leave

with that price and share.

Then you say no.

This is the point.

I don't know.

I think he would take it.

-I would split it.

-You would?

-[Omarosa] You would?

-Come on.

Doodles, you've gotta

keep me company here.

I thought we were like

Bonnie and Clyde, we're--

Wait, wait, wait.

What am I, the third wheel again?

Here you go.

The one thing I know

is about calculated risk and I'm

[clicks tongue] adding this up

on my calculator,

and, honey, it's just not adding up.

I wanna stay 'til the end,

so I can make a lot of money.

[Doodles] Athena and Omarosa,

they're not really into it.

Athena and I, even though we vibe,

we want different things.

She wants to stay in this house

for a bigger pot,

but I wanna get out as soon as possible.

[Simu]

Look at those crazy eyes.

Dude definitely means it.

[Rob]

Alright. Is anyone downstairs?

-[Val] Uh, no. [indistinct]

-Oh, yeah. I shouldn't have asked.

I said, "Is anyone downstairs?"

-Yeah.

-[Cynthia] Come on now.

I know no one's gonna

pick me to run with them.

So, I already-- I just brought

my happy a*s right here to this button.

I was like, "Okay."

I need to make sure I have

a little extra money in the bank.

Fresh off a divorce, starting a new job.

Obviously, I'm not the fastest runner,

which is why I'm not really trying

to physically escape myself.

So, my strategy is to sit by the button

every opportunity I get.

I am officially the button lady.

[Demi]

Who's on the button? Cynthia.

Tell Cynthia to get on the button.

[laughs]

-Who's on the button? Cynthia still?

-Yes.

I mean, Cynthia's the button queen.

She is the button queen, yeah.

[Cynthia]

All hail the queen ♪

People see value in me now.

-Room service, Cynthia.

-[Cynthia] Yay!

Ain't nobody else

getting room service up in here.

Power of the button.

-A cookie option.

-Thank you very much.

Since I've been on button patrol,

I've noticed that Yahné

is around the button a lot

and Doodles walks past the button a lot.

So, I think I'm gonna

have to really tap in

and convince whoever tries

to come downstairs that I got it.

[clicks tongue]

Just can't trust anyone.

It's crazy.

No one's gonna suspect anything from me

if and when I decide

that it's time for me to make sure

that the button is actually not pressed.

[Simu] Strategy has kicked into high gear

with three escapes at play.

Athena, Nick, and Omarosa are up first.

But earlier, they agreed not to run.

And so, Athena's wiped

the escape out of her mind

and is busy consulting

our resident relationship expert.

-[Kim] Oh, Doodle.

-[Athena V.] Yeah.

Do you like him?

I think he likes you.

I was feeling

some kinda way in the foyer.

-Well, hey, he's cute.

-Are you trying to [bleep] him?

[Athena V.]

Like how?

Like, with his [bleep].

I mean, I dunno,

how else could you do it?

[laughing]

How else would you do that?

[Simu]

Omarosa, what's the good word?

"Who is the king of glory?

"The Lord, strong and mighty.

"The Lord mighty in the battle.

Lift up your eyes to the gates."

[gasps]

[Simu] Wait 'til you get to the one

about Moses parting the Red Sea.

Speaking of parting ways,

Doodles is contemplating

leaving his lady in the lurch

and making a run for the money on his own.

Let's hope she doesn't find out.

[Doodles]

Here's the situation.

So, I get an escape strategy

with Omarosa and Athena.

Our plan, window burgundy, 233,000.

Athena and Omarosa,

they're not totally onboard,

but I'm making a run for this.

I'm not gonna waste this opportunity.

Any opportunity at an exit

is a great opportunity.

So, I'm like,

"Yo, now it's time for me to pivot."

-Hey, Doodles.

-[Doodles] Hello.

You think it's gonna be, uh, a busy day

for me down here at the button?

You know, I do think so.

I think somebody's gonna try and escape.

For sure, right?

For sure.

The first time I tried to escape,

I went in alone.

Let's go!

The second escape attempt I tried,

I brought Rob in with the idea that Rob

could just control the watchtower.

This third attempt, I focus on the button.

[whispers] Let me ask you

something really quick.

Sure.

In about $150,

I'm leaving out of that window.

[gasps]

[suspenseful music playing]

sh*t. Okay, go ahead.

-In about $150?

-[Doodles] Uh-huh.

Would you want to split?

Wait, wait, wait.

sh*t, wait. Okay.

A hundred and fifty dollars.

So, is it, like, a 50/50 split?

Uh-huh.

-Are you serious?

-Uh-huh.

sh*t.

See?

This is why it pays,

literally, to be the button lady.

What time exactly?

Like

-Two-three-three.

-Two-three-three.

Two-three-three

on the, on the nose?

-Uh-huh.

-Damn.

-And we split?

-[Doodles] No one's here.

[Cynthia] And all I have

to do is not hit the button?

Not hit the button.

And you're gonna be

able to get there quick?

'Cause I can only delay it for so long.

They're gonna be like,

"Hit the button. Hit the button."

-How much time you need?

-Twenty seconds.

sh*t.

Three, three, three.

-sh*t, it's coming up.

-Yeah.

-sh*t.

-[laughs] Yeah.

-Oh, my God.

-We got about $75 left.

Okay, don't rat me out.

-I won't.

-I'm gonna go for it.

-Alright.

-Damn.

Uh, $100,000?

Uh, what button? I don't see no button.

Where is the button?

Yeah, I like the guy.

He's nice.

He's a good boy.

You never know,

maybe he's marriage material.

Dang, girl.

[mysterious music playing]

-[exhales] Deep breath. Deep breath.

-Okay. sh*t. Good luck.

Doodle just basically

put $100,000 in my hand

and all I gotta do is

lay here on this couch

and just not push the button.

But if he does lose,

I just hope Doodles

is going to keep

our little arrangement a secret.

[Doodles] It is unbelievably difficult

to get out of this mansion.

Everyone is on a high alert

and everybody is watching

from multiple different angles.

I would say this house

is starting to get smaller, oddly.

In my head, like, it feels smaller.

-Uh-huh.

-I don't know why.

[dramatic music playing]

[Doodles]

Getting a little nervous.

My heart is beating real fast.

What do you think about Doodles?

-I don't talk to him much.

-Yeah.

Doodles is caught up in a showmance.

He seems pretty committed

to making something happen

with Athena who he met, like, a week ago.

I think Doodles is, is a nice kid,

-but, you know

-Yeah.

[Clare] I've always told you this

and I'll tell it to you again.

Exactly what I've told you before.

-If you get out

-If we help each other,

we'll get out.

[Jill]

Yep, yep, yep, yep.

[clock ticking]

[suspenseful music playing]

If I was on Dancing with the Stars,

I'd be like, "Anyone but Val."

I would-- Just kidding.

I would fight for you.

-I really would.

-[Val laughs]

Look, look, look, look.

I look, I'm like,

"Yo, Doodles is running."

[Stein]

Hit the button!

[Cynthia]

I'm just, like, nervous.

[Stein] Hit the button,

hit the button, hit the button!

[Cynthia] All I do is

sit at the button all day

and now I'm in play.

[panting]

[Doodles]

I start booking it,

but nothing happens and I keep running.

I'm like, "What if I actually make it?"

[Stein]

Hit the button!

I just wanna get a tan.

[Jill] You'll get one.

I got sunburned up here the other day.

-[Rob] Yo!

-[Rashad] Hey, we got one.

-Oh, Doodles! Doodles!

-[clamoring]

[Stein]

Hit the button. Hit the button.

[Rashad]

Hit the button!

[Susan]

Hit the button!

-[Rashad] Hit the button.

-[Cynthia] What?!

I'ma go hit this button

'cause I don't know who he with.

-[Jill] Oh, my God.

-[Clare] There he goes.

[Jill] [mumbles]

Honey, it's no good.

-[alarm blaring]

-Hit it again!

[yells]

I was so close!

-[Shane] Doodles tried to make a run?

-He's right there, he's walking back.

[Shane]

No way.

Doodles got caught.

So, now, I have to convince

the other 18 people in here

that I don't know what happened.

Well, oh, my God.

What-- Who tried to get out?

-[Stein] It was Doodles.

-What?!

Oh, my God.

Did we get him?

-[Rashad] Yo.

-[Stein] I already got him.

[Cynthia]

I'm an actress.

I know how to get into character

and I know how to sell it.

I happened to be downstairs sleeping

and I'm looking out my bedroom window

and I was like, "Phew, phew."

So, yeah, he got got before the lever.

But nobody pulled the thing, right?

-No, they just came running.

-[crosstalk]

Nobody pulled it.

[Val] Whoever was upstairs

didn't pull that.

Nobody pulled it.

Nobody told me to pull it.

No one knows that I had a side deal.

Hey, it didn't work out,

but it also didn't affect my game.

The lever just went off.

He in collusion with who upstairs.

Let's figure out who upstairs.

[Lindsey]

Oh, yeah. Okay.

Didn't skip a beat.

Which one of y'all in collusion?

-Not me.

-What?

I'm like, if Doodles trying to get out,

I'm sure he tried to work

some type of strategy, right?

He, he just ain't just running.

I don't trust everybody.

-I know one of y'all.

-[Rob] Oh, no.

It ain't, it ain't--

It ain't these two.

-[Rashad] No, there's gotta be one.

-[Jill] Not me.

-No, I know. No.

-It's not. Rob, it's, it's not.

So, something

still doesn't measure up to me.

Okay, I need the watchtower to tighten up.

They gotta tighten up on that watchtower

because if they hadn't told me,

I never would have known.

If you guys hadn't come running,

I would've never known.

Yeah, totally, totally, totally, totally.

I have an alibi.

I didn't know I was

supposed to push the button.

Didn't nobody say nothing.

The lights didn't come on.

[sighs]

I'm still good.

I'm still good.

[Doodles]

Let's go!

What are you doing down there, bro?

[whimsical music playing]

I don't know if I'm more offended

by the run or the dance.

[laughter]

Would you, would you at least

came back and got your lady?

[Clare laughs]

Maybe she didn't see it.

I hope it don't backfire.

[sighs]

I'm tired.

If I make a deal with you

that I don't tell her,

are we good?

Pinky? Alright.

Don't let her know I was scared.

[laughs]

I would've come back for her, I swear.

Whatever.

Whatever.

[Doodles] I'm thinking

that Athena and I are good.

We're gonna be like Bonnie and Clyde.

I hope she won't find out

and hope to continue this

a little bit later.

[Simu] Wow, Doodles sure is lucky

he got away with that

and their budding love affair lives on.

I do enjoy a good rom-com,

but ultimately, he failed his escape.

And now, there are two other groups

anticipating theirs.

Demi and Shane are struggling

with one minor detail.

It's actually a really big detail.

It's the time of their escape.

Ours was $243,500?

What?

Ours was $243,500?

Yeah!

[Demi]

Wait, two Yeah.

Also, did you know who won?

I figured out who won.

No, but it doesn't--

There was no one winner.

What?

[Shane]

Everyone had a different one.

Like, D--

The one Doodles just hit was his.

No, he found his in the trash can.

[Shane]

No, it just Yeah, no.

Yeah, we all did.

I thought what you thought too.

I'm an idiot.

[Shane] I think that I am underestimated

by a lot of the house.

I'm an athletic specimen

and I can move differently

than most people.

I am a undefeated, uh,

multiple time MMA champion

and I wanna be able

to put my name in the history books

as someone that escaped this mansion.

[clock ticking]

[Kim]

Hey, Stein, what are you doing?

-What do you mean?

-[Kim] Come up here real quick.

I wanna get the hell outta here so fast.

Like, today, Doodles, he didn't make it.

So, I need to really strategize

on my exit right now.

I have a couple plans to get outta here

and one of them was

to dress like a producer.

I know I could pull it off.

Like, I'm pretty positive.

-Think the hat's the most important.

-[Kim] Thanks for showing up.

-Huh?

-[laughter]

You guys look so obvious.

[Kim] Spencer, you might be able to work,

like, with your hat on.

The idea that when we're breaking out,

we're just one of these crew members

going about their business

is actually a great strategy.

[Simu] That is actually

a pretty great idea.

But last I heard,

our hardworking crew members

are supposed to be behind the scenes.

We might need to work on that.

I'm the best person

to actually make the exit out the window

and be disguised as a crew member

so that Kim and Stein

can try to move people around the house

so maybe they're not by the window,

by the button, or on the watchtower.

So, I end up being the trustworthy runner.

You could literally take

these [bleep] leaves and sh*t

out of this [bleep] plant

and you could be next to the

[crosstalk]

-[Kim] plant and walked.

-[Spencer] Holding like I was,

like, carrying, like,

like, uh, production, like

Just hold-- Like, I'm taking--

Like, I'm moving this to, like, set.

See what I mean about my brain?

It's so creative.

That's [bleep] genius.

I love Spencer.

He's hysterical,

but I don't know if I trust him fully

to split the money.

Go, Spencer, take it now, go.

[Stein] We all genuinely believe

that we can pull this off.

But also, like, it's Spencer Pratt.

If, like, money's on the line,

like, I don't even think

he's gonna share the money with me.

I don't know him.

All this can just be, like, just a show.

[Kim]

There's big ones right over here.

I don't know how heavy they are.

I tried to pick it up myself, but

[Spencer] I know,

but that blocks my head.

[Kim]

Yeah, that's what we want.

The reason I'm choosing

a plant to hold on my head

is 'cause it's so over the top

and it's so flagrant.

Like, look at this huge plant.

Like, if you were, like,

hiding in plain sight.

[Kim]

Okay, what about this one?

This one's not--

This one's nothing.

Get this one.

There's nothing in that [bleep] one.

[Spencer]

What are you talking about?

[Kim]

What?

That's a workout.

I gotta be moving pretty--

[Kim]

You better get to the [bleep] gym.

I adore Spencer.

He's just hilarious.

Go, go.

[laughs]

I'm a [bleep] genius, aren't I?

I'm a [bleep] genius.

What's up, baby?

There, there's so many personalities

and egos in this house.

Yeah, it's just chaos, you know?

-[Kim mumbles]

-[Val] What?

[bleep]. I-I-- I'm [bleep] [indistinct].

Val randomly comes, sees me,

you know, running around with plants.

So then I gotta make it, like,

I'm just messing with people

and putting plants around

so he doesn't even think

that I'm on an exit strategy.

It was a-- It's, it's a lot.

-[Val] What are you doing?

-[Kim] [bleep] chill.

Just [bleep].

The more time that passes,

there's a little bit of, uh, cabin fever

here in this house finally.

[Kim]

Perfect, perfect, perfect.

[Simu]

Thank you, Spencer.

We'll consider this your application

for the props department.

Meanwhile, Athena is focused

on the wardrobe department

and is really leaning into the concept

of being locked up.

Oh, prisoners.

[Athena V.]

I look like a prisoner?

Am I gonna be [bleep] made fun of today?

How's it look?

Uh, with that body,

you could put on whatever you want.

-How's my butt look?

-[scoffs]

[Simu]

And then, there's Susan.

I'm the warm, loving, you know,

the saggy t*ts with the n*pples

making meatballs.

[laughs] And then I take a shower

and I clean up pretty nice.

I can't, I can't.

[Simu]

Let's move on.

Demi, Shane, and Rashad

are getting close to $243,500.

Let's see what these geniuses

have planned.

[whimsical music playing]

[Demi]

I'm gonna watch right here, okay?

Get me out of here.

Get me out of here.

I mean, this is enough.

I've had enough.

Oh, my God, I'm, I'm freaking out.

-Why?

-[Demi] I don't know.

'Cause maybe we could get out of here!

Hey, buddy. Have you guys seen

uh, Rashad?

Rashad goes MIA and, you know,

in the moment, I was a little confused.

Damn.

I'm ready to make a run

and get out of here.

I don't wanna play

defense anymore.

I wanna be on the offensive side.

So, you know, maybe he kinda got lost.

Maybe he's working with other people.

It's, it's tough.

[bleep].

[Rashad] Look

We've got $243,500

in the orange room.

My team won,

but I'ma go out here and play defense

to build the money up.

[Yahné] You're my number one.

[Rashad]

Yahné is my number one.

Those people in that particular room,

I don't have an alliance with.

So, there's no point of us trying to

work together on something at this point.

I'm not letting anybody out.

[Steve H.] I guess

I'm playing defense today.

[Rashad]

Welcome, welcome.

Welcome!

[Simu] Oh, man, for a second there

I really thought I'd get to see

Rashad's famous 40-yard dash,

but, nope, defense it is.

Now Shane and Demi will be on their own,

unaware that their teammate

has turned against them.

Shane, think it's gonna be this one.

[Steve H.] There can never be

less than two people up here,

uh, three is even better.

-Just, you know

-[Clare] Yeah.

Patience is probably the best strategy

-in this entire game.

-[Cynthia] Yeah.

[suspenseful music playing]

[Demi]

This is my moment.

I can taste the money.

I can taste the freedom.

I can taste my flight home.

It's right there in front of me.

I'm so excited.

We're waiting by the window

in the orange room at 243,500

[clock ticking]

and nothing happens.

Nothing makes sense in here.

[Demi]

Oh, my God. I'm freaking out.

[clock ticking]

It doesn't go green.

I'm like, "What?"

Like, I'm positive

that it was orange at this time.

I, I mean I think it would've by now.

And then I realized,

did you ding-dongs just assume

that it was in the orange room

because the card was orange?

[Rashad] 'Cause this is orange,

it's gonna be the orange room.

Did you not even read it?

[Shane] I don't know if I'm gonna be

sitting here twiddling my thumbs.

So, I'm sprinting around the house

looking everywhere

[dramatic music playing]

but I could not find it.

I think we missed it.

[clock ticking]

Do you remember anything else

about what that thing said?

No, 'cause you dumb dumbs deciphered it,

and you guys said,

"Orange card, orange room."

-Alright, alright, alright.

-[Demi laughs]

-You guys [bleep] this up.

-Alright, alright, alright.

[Demi] It feels really annoying

because I finally, like, did my part

to get an exit strategy,

like, to actually earn one.

I mean, I put all of that together.

They didn't do any of it.

And for it to be blown

just by them being dumb is so frustrating.

Is she repeating the right number?

-Remember the right number?

-Yeah, I'm positive it was 243,500.

Ah, man, dude,

I'm, like, so bummed right now.

I can't catch a break in this game.

[mysterious music playing]

[Producer] I have this for you.

We'll let you know when to look at it, OK?

-[Producer] Hey Demi.

-[Demi] Hi.

What?

"The location to escape

is in the orange bedroom at 235."

[gasps]

"At 235,400."

Oh, my God. We had the time wrong.

Oh, my God!

[groans]

I thought it was 243,500.

I blew it.

[lock clicks]

It's a wicked game we're playing,

a wicked game.

[dramatic music plays]

[Simu]

Who's the ding-dong now, Demi?

You only had to figure out six digits.

[sighs deeply]

Stay in school, kids.

And, Shane, your best bro

ditched you in the playground.

It's gonna sting

when you watch the show back.

Let's see if Stein, Kim, and Spencer

do any better.

[Susan] So, what do you think's

gonna happen today?

Definitely a few more escapes.

[Yahné]

Like the flowers?

No, I'm looking for a clue.

[both laughing]

Have you seen my shoes?

The, the Chanel white sneakers?

She's going for a run.

-[Kim] Who, me?

-You need your sneakers?

[Kim]

Oh, no, I'm not going for a run.

It's really hard in this house

with 20 people

to try to do anything

because there's somebody everywhere.

So, I'm just throwing people off.

I don't want anybody,

anybody looking out the window.

Oh.

See, I don't do what you guys do where you

sneak up and hide behind the [bleep] wall.

-You guys

-There's no wall here.

There's no wall here.

We're in the open.

It's okay. Pot--

And plotting and planning, baby.

I'm-I'm trying to get

the [bleep] outta here today,

-and for real, though.

-Yeah, same.

And I just want my wine.

Go home, see my kids, my dogs.

-Yeah.

-[Kim] Yeah, that's what I wanna do.

Why is everybody acting so weird?

[Cynthia]

I understand your point.

Oh, no, something's going on.

-So, we're close, right?

-[Stein] Yeah, we're-- No, we're close.

-We're close. We're close.

-[Spencer] Alright, how long?

-Like a minute?

-[Stein] No, no, no. More than that.

We're actually working as a team.

It's [bleep] awesome to see.

We all genuinely believe

that we can pull this off.

What did you guys--

Did you guys finish it or no?

-Stein?

-[Stein] Um, it was, uh

Yeah, we did finish it.

I'm just gonna be honest.

And it was actually,

I was talking with Rashad, 236,200.

I'm laying all these distractions

throughout the house.

This is a great plan.

I spend my life

adventuring around the world.

So, this game shouldn't be that hard

considering we're in one house

and we're not in the middle of the Arctic.

[Spencer] For my disguise,

I'm trying to think,

what do the crew members wear?

Then I'm thinking,

not saying these crew members

have big bellies,

but anything that kinda looks different

than my current body type.

So, I stuff a couple towels

under my shirt.

The crew here is actually very fit.

So, that is a little confusing.

[Rashad] I'ma sleep through all this

'cause ain't nobody getting out.

[Simu] I already don't recognize Spencer

without a Heidi Montag T-shirt.

How can we have so much food

and nothing to eat?

Something just to let me know

-everything's good

-That's important.

[bleep] Demi looks like

a little doll, right?

Like, you'd just be like,

"Here you go, Demi, let's go for a walk."

[laughs]

[suspenseful music playing]

-[Athena V.] I'll be back.

-'Kay, it's hot.

It is hot.

[Athena V.]

Too hot.

[Simu] Spencer Pratt?

Has anyone seen Spencer Pratt?

Spencer?

[clock ticking]

No. Somebody else said it,

but I want to say,

uh, "If no exit strategy,

you wasted your time, losers."

-Yeah, I said that.

-[laughing]

[mysterious music playing]

[Spencer] To me, being in this house,

you need to be a spy.

I feel like Jason Bourne.

I'm in the disguise.

I got the plant.

I'm worrying about watchtower guards.

I've ever felt to a action star.
