and Lucy. Put on a smile and

stay for a while. Come on, let's dance

around with Snoopy and Charlie Brown.

Woodstock a whistle. Sally will be

singing Marsley and Peppermint

Patty.

Everybody's having fun Let's not go home

yet If we stick around Maybe that

red-haired girl Will come and dance with

Charlie Brown

It's the Charlie Brown and Snoopy

Show!

What do you mean you're hungry? Are you

crazy? It's the middle of the night.

Look, you had a huge dinner. And

besides, you're in training for our

biggest baseball game of the year

tomorrow. So just forget it.

All right, cut that out. I'll get you

something to eat.

Calm down. You're going to hurt

yourself.

Oh, brother, now you've done it.

I think you may have broken something.

I'll have to take you to the vet right

away.

The doctor says,You'll have to be in this

cast for quite a few weeks.

Now stop that. I know it itches, but

you just have to calm down. Come on,

let's go home.

When you feel a little better, you can

walk. That's a walking cast. But

meanwhile, use these crutches. I'll show

you how they work.

OK, now you try it. Do a good

job. I think the cat next door is

watching.

You can't do that! Hey, cat

next door! Give us back those

crutches!

Oh, well, I guess you better go up and

rest a while.

Well, now that you can't use those

crutches, why don't you see if you can

walk on that cast?

You better watch out, catneck star.

If you give Snoopy any more trouble,

he'll kick you with his cast.

On the other hand, you can laugh all you

want. Uh

oh, it's starting to rain and the doctor

said you had to keep that cast dry.

Now what are we going to do?

Oh brother, I guess I'll have to

take you into the house.

Lucy's right. You won't be able to play

in the baseball game. I'll have to call

Peppermint Patty to see if she can loan

me one of her players. What do you mean

you won't play on my baseball team

anymore?I told you, Sir,

I don't like to play baseball.

I also am not any good at it.

Well, I'm not taking this lying down,

Marcy. After all the time I've taken to

teach you how to play, I'll just have to

trade you to another team.

Trade me?Who in the

world would possibly want me on their

team?I'm a terrible

player. I'm the worst.

Hello?Hi, this is Charlie

Brown. Hiya, Chuck. How are you,

you sly dog?I have a problem.

I was hoping you could help me. What is

it, Chuck Old Boy?Well, we

have this big game tomorrow and I'm

short one player. I was wondering

if you could loan me one of yours. Well,

Chuck, you happened to call just at the

right time. I was just thinking of

calling you and making a trade.

A trade? But I just wanted to borrow one

player. Look, Chuck, it's a trade

or nothing.

Well, OK, but who would you want

from my team?I'll make it simple,

Chuck. I'll trade you one of my

best players, Marcy, for one of yours,

Snoopy. How can you tell

him that, Sir?You know I'm no

good. You know I'm the worst.

Snoopy. But Snoopy can't.

Look, Chuck, I have no time to waste.

Now, is it a deal or not?I want to know

right now. I trade you, Marcy,

for Snoopy. Maybe you'll finally win your

first game, Chuck. Well,

okay, but I must tell you that

Snoopy cannot... Okay then, it's a deal.

Bring Snoopy over to my field right away.

See ya, Chuck. I can't

believe you did that, sir.

That's not fair to Charles.

I'm a terrible player.

Lighten up, Marcy. Who cares

anyway?Charlie Brown will lose with

or without you.

Hiya, Chuck. Well, here's my

great player, Marcy, for your team.

Before you make this trade, Charles,

I must tell you something about my

playing. Cool it, Marcy.

Okay, Chuck, you sly dog.

Even though you're taking advantage of me,

I'm ready to make the trade. I'll take

Snoopy right now. I can't

believe this. Come on, Charles.

Let's get out of here before I say

something I'll regret.

Hiya, Snoop. Come on. Off

with that blanket and out of that wagon.

We've got a game to play. What in the

world are you doing in a cast?

Charlie Brad, you'reSee! A

robber! You traded me a player with a

broken leg! It serves you

right, sir, for trying to

trick Charles. I've

been cheated!

I've been robbed! I've

been tricked!

What do you mean you can still play?

Well, at least you can still catch.

Well, at least you can still hit. But

what good is all that when you can't run?

Oh, that's all right. It's not your

fault. Maybe I could use you as a pinch

hitter or something. Come on.

OK, Snoop, this is your big chance.

The game is all tied up. We have our

players on all three bases.

If you can get a hit, you won't have to

run because you're driving the winning

run. Go to it, Snoop. You

can win the whole game in this last

inning.

Stay right one. That's OK,

Snoop. That's. Just one strike!

I believe in you, Snoop! I

know you can do it!

Stay right to! You

stupid beagle! You can win the

whole game with a simple hit! Hit it,

Snoop, or I'll never forgive you!

Okay, this is it! Here comes the pitch!

It hit him! It hit him! We win! We win!

The pincher hit him! And that brings in

the winning run!

Well, Chuck, I have good news and bad

news. What's the good news?

Snoop drove in the winning run! He

won the game for us, Chuck! He's a

hero! I don't

understand. How could he possibly

play?Well... That's the bad

news, Chuck. He got hit in the other

foot. Oh, no!

The vet says he never saw this happen in

can't stand it. I just

can't stand it. Well,

thanks, Chuck. And thanks to you, Snoop.

I hope you get better real soon.

Why can't I have a normal dog like

everyone else?

Who are you?

If you're looking for me, I'm over

here.

Here we go again, riding on

the back of my mother's bike.

Look out for that trunk! Look out for

that tree! Look out for that

hedge! Look out for

that bump!

I suppose if I were a real

gentleman... I would help my

mother fix the flat tire.

I'm not old enough to be a real

gentleman.

My name is Rerun. What is

your name?I can't

decide what I would like my name

to be. Perhaps you can call me

Carol or Agatha.

I also like Rita, but

I guessDolly is my favorite.

But for the time being, you

better just call me Samantha.

I think she's got the tire fixed.

Do you have a phone number?I can

call you sometime. I don't

mean right away, but someday

when I learn how to use the telephone.

That was the shortest romance in

history.

Oh, there you are, Samantha. Or

Daphne or Mary. Or

whatever your name is. You don't

have enough

vegetables in your

grocery cart. Here,

you should have some cabbages and

some carrots. You don't have

enough cookies in your grocery cart.

Here, you should have some cookies.

And you need more cauliflower.

And you need more ice cream.

I met my true love in aisle

number two. And I lost my true

love in aisle number four.

Oh, Hilary, you and your

dumb groceries made my

mommy very mad. I didn't want

you to bring any more of them. My mommy

said it was junk food. Well, my

mother had a word or two to say

about cauliflower.

What are you doing?I

just gave you a kiss on the cheek. When

people like each other, it is

customary to kiss the one

you like on the cheek. Who

said I like you?

I lost my true love for

coming on too strong.

Let's have a party with Charlie Brown and

Snoopy. We can go dancing with Lioness

and Lucy. Put on a smile and

stay for a while. Come on, let's dance

around with Snoopy and Charlie Brown.

Rita and Franklin. Even Little

Rerun Bell, Spike and Snoopy.

Everybody's having fun. Let's not go home

yet. If we stick around, maybe that red

haired girl will come and dance with

Charlie Brown.
