TYLER: It's the

NARRATOR: And the
fight for fish heats up.

TYLER: I hope it's a Bluefin,
man I hope it's a Bluefin.

WILL: Slow me down, Dale!

NARRATOR: While
the bad boy captain.

TYLER: Tides have changed.

NARRATOR:
Struggles to make amends.

NICK: They're the last
person I wanna get help from.

DUFFY: Whoo.
Yeah, baby!

ED: Nobody's gonna catch us.

NARRATOR: This is
Wicked Tuna Outer Banks.

NARRATOR: Underdog
Foolish Pleasures holds
on to a narrow lead over

reigning champion
Fishin' Frenzy.

Meanwhile, struggling
Northern boats, Pinwheel
and Hard Merchandise lag

behind the rest of the fleet.

DALE: Hopefully, we'll be
able to get out today, guys.

She's gonna be special
this morning if we can.

DALE: We're halfway
through the season and
we're on top of the fleet.

GREG: We just ready to roll?
All right. Do it.

NICK: Wind ain't blowing
so we're gonna try to go.

Start the generator, make
sure everything's working.

GREG: Here it is,
middle of the season.

I had to take a couple
days off to get some
surgery on my arm.

But now I'm good to go.

TJ: Yo.

JARRETT: What's going on, man?

TJ: How you making out?
How we looking?

JARRETT: For the most part,
we're looking pretty good.

TJ: So far this season,
we've caught some fish but
we're still trying to catch

up to the leader.

TJ: We're past the halfway
point and the quota's getting
caught and if we don't make a

run soon, we might run
out of time to get it done.

DALE: We got
everything we need?
WILL: Should be good.

DALE: Got your
lucky rabbit's foot?
WILL: I got that too.

DALE: Nice.
We good, Ed?

ED: Yeah.
WILL: Away!

It's been slow the
last couple trips.

Feels like
everybody's creeping up on us.

WILL: This is the part
of the season where you
got to separate yourself

from the pack.

So, we really got to put
the pedal to the metal here.

GREG: We need to go fishing.

There's fish out there,
there's not a whole lot of
time left to catch these fish

so we need to get out there.

NICK: Ready to go fishing.

NICK: We're behind and our
captain's still recovering
from surgery but he feels like

he's able to do it, we're
gonna go as hard as we can.

All right.

JARRETT: On our
way right back out.

Got more fuel got more ice,
got a little bit more grub.

JARRETT: Got about four
hours of sleep, turn around,
and go right back out so.

It's a really
tight race right now.

If we can just get out there
one fish could put us on top.

TJ: Going fishing.

MARCIANO: Well, that's it.
We're here. Daylight's coming.

We finally got a really good
chance at being the first boat
at hooking up because that's

been the game down here.

The first guys to find them
are the guys to catch them.

We really got to
make it happen today.

There's not much time left.

MARCIANO: I'm definitely
starting to get just a
little bit discouraged.

We're a good portion into
the season and we've got
zero fish to show for it.

I've had tough seasons before
so I know it's not the end of
the world but we should be

doing better than this.

CLIFF: We're set out and the
sun's starting to come up.

And we've got our stick
out, try to get these
things rounded up,

catch a fish.

We need to do it.

MARCIANO: I came down here to
make some money and pay some
bills and that was never a

guarantee but the only way
I'm gonna make that work is
to keep my eye on the prize

and try to catch a few fish.

CLIFF: We're on!

MARCIANO: Pow

Just get it going first
thing in the morning and
we got a kind of bite

out of nowhere, I didn't mark.

I don't know what it is.

Hopefully it's our
first keeper of the season.

CLIFF: It took a lot of
drag and he's been pulling
like he's a nice fish.

I hope he is, you know, it'd
be good to get us started
and get a fish on the boat.

I definitely thought the
season was gonna be better
than the one we're having.

We rely on these fish
to make a living down
here so we really need this

season to start paying off.

We just need to
find the right size.

CHARLIE: What I have here is...

this year, it's vegetables
and new grains I never
even heard about.

I really can't tell him
enough how proud of him I
am for making that step to

better himself like that.

fish because of his exercise.

We're running out of supplies
and I've managed to make some
enemies in the fleet.

behavior towards the rest of
the fleet is to blame for

another bad season.

on Southern Hospitality,

I mean we, we look
out for each other.

Tyler's kind of stuck himself

he's branched out on his own,

made it difficult
to work with him.

Tyler's not the easiest
guy to deal with but we're

Dude, in the bigeye

I don't know what it is.

That's pretty cool.

Bigeye tunas, they don't
swim up where I'm from.

For me it's like
catching a rare fish.

No, no not the back.
Not the meat.

Bigeye Tunas generally get
between 4 to $8 a pound and
they average about a hundred

and thirty pounds.

A keeper bigeye is anything
bigger than 27 inches and this
one is well past that.

TYLER: They aren't worth
as much as the Bluefin tuna
but they can still bring me

a decent paycheck.

Bigeye! Yeah!

DUFFY: Yeah!
TYLER: Yeah!

Down here, you have the
opportunity to catch all the
different species of tunas and

that's exactly what we're
gonna do we're gonna make
money off every single type.

TYLER: Britton and his
family have been going
through a lot this year.

TYLER: His daughter's battling
cancer and he's missed days on
the water that I know he would

have been out there fishing
and catching fish and I just
want to try and extend my hand

and help him out.

We've been fishing hard all
summer but I heard you ran
into a little bit of

misfortune there
in your family.

BRITTON: When it comes down
to, you know, the health of a
family member you know versus

fishing, fishing
has taken a backseat.

CAINE: As it should be.

TYLER: As it should
be, 100%, you know.

I mean, hey, you know, we were
all out there the other day we
all managed to catch fish.

To not see you out there
because you got to deal with
that you know,

it really hit home to me
and I managed to catch
a big eye the other day

and it paid us some money.

The least I could do
is at least give you
my big eye check.

BRITTON: Thank

you're out there

GREG: Did it?
BILLON: Yeah.

You wanna hold up or you
wanna try and start it or.

GREG: Let me
take a look at it.

Let me see what's going on.

NICK: We use the generator
to power our electronics.

Everything uses a
little bit of power.

But, when the
generator cuts off it means
you're running out of fuel.

GREG: Let's look at it
again and see where she is.

Yeah.

NICK: We're just
about empty, cap.

GREG: I don't understand that.

The way my fuel system works,
if I run low on fuel, my
generator is the first

thing to cut off.

Right now we don't have
enough fuel to get home.

If we don't figure
out something fast,
we'll be stranded.

NICK: Well, that sucks.

GREG: All right.
I'm gonna figure out
what I'm gonna do here.

GREG [over radio]: I
hate to ask you, but is
anyone holding any fuel?

Can you get me some fuel?
