We're not getting days

I'm nowhere near where I want to
be for this time of the season.

I don't even know if we'll be
getting any mining in.

Seasons like this are the kind
of seasons that break guys.

By getting on that hot spot.

Are lifting the christine rose

Preventing the bucket
from making full contact.

and wash clamps running perfect.

Everything's perfect
except for mother nature.

With the swell being so big,
I'm not getting good buckets.

Either I'm getting
a bucket of water

Or a half a bucket of sand.

Man, this blows.it's not paying.

It's pretty much
a waste of time.

Just doesn't seem like
we can get a break this year.

I know this spot's good.

I followed the beachline
right to here.

I'm not going to give up.

Mother nature has been
kicking our a*s all year long.

We just got to outsmart her.

We followed all the signs
of this pay streak

And led me out here
to this deeper water.

While the journey should only
take 10 hours,

The gold ship has never been
tested on the open sea.

I don't want to be in a full
ocean storm on that boat.

It can get dangerous,

And catamarans
are known to turn over.

If I headed to nome,

It would be right between
the waves in the trough,

As it's called,
and that will roll you like so.

Don't want that.

When the boat starts rolling
too much, it gets dangerous.

That's the main danger
with catamarans.

You got to be aware of that.

You can't just go willy-nilly
and, you know --

You got to be respectful
of the ocean

Because otherwise, it will
put you in a watery grave.

Hundred-mile-an-hour gusts
could thrust the barge aground,

Or worse, into the harbor,

Where the devastation could
spread to the entire fleet.

Plan is to push this barge
out into some deeper water

Because there's supposed to be
a storm coming in here,

And they kind of got
themselves in a bind.

Their tug took off and left them
too close in to the harbor.

All right. We're loose.hold on.

Ken: get this rescue
on the way, man.

We're supporting the community
when you do stuff like this.

It's a community effort.

I'm not going to stand by
and watch

This barge enter
into the harbor

And see somebody
get k*lled or hurt.

If we have a way to help them,
