us to your friends certainly This is David and Diana Hi Hi Um Tina can you

tell me what the jitterbug is sure can It's a dance that started a long time ago in Harlem New York about 1932 It's a

lot of fun to do Now Ian is it hard to do there are parts that are difficult

but there's also some parts that are really easy too Um David what advice do you have for kids out there who really

love to dance for those who love to dance it's important to get out there find something you like to do and get out there and just do it Well can you

lots of dance crazes have been inspired by either a popular song or movie like the Charleston and the mashed potato

Number eight some Native Americans performed the exciting hoop dance revolving dozens of hoops around their

body at the same time Number seven hoola dancers use their body movements to tell

a story Number six King Limbo set the world record when he passed under a

flaming bar that was only 6 in above the ground Number five famous tap dancer Roy

Castle tapped 1 million taps in a row It took him 23 hours and 44 minutes which

is 16 minutes less than a whole day Number four the fastest tap dancer

Steven Gar tapped an amazing 32 taps in just 1 second Number three the longest

conga line was formed in 1988 and consisted of

119,986 people Number two the French king Louis the 14th the sun king started

the first professional ballet in 1661 He would often perform in his sun costume

And the number one most fascinating fact about dance is in India temple dancers

devote their entire lives to performing dances that have religious meaning The end
