today's show we have something I bet few

of you have ever seen before and it's

studio really that's exciting sure is

but first we have a song about a man who

finds a box and can't give it away no

Thing and it's a great song to stomp

your feet to like this

while I was walking down the beach one

bright and sunny day I saw a great big

wooden box a floating in the bay i

pulled it in and opened it up much to my

surprise whoa I discovered it right

before my eyes i discovered it right

i picked it up and ran to town as happy

as a king i took it to a guy I knew

would buy most anything but this is what

he hollered at me as I walked in his

shop well get out of here before I go

we'll get out of here with that before I

call the cop

i turned around and got right out

running for my life and then I took it

home with me to give it to my wife but

more

i wandered all around the town until I

chance to meet Fred the town policeman

who was walking on his feet he wasn't

scared of anything he was a big brave

man but when I show

him he turned around and ran

i wonder for many years

when I tried to give it away to anyone

in the land they don't let them take a

look and this is when they say "Get out

of here and take it far away." Oh get

out of your way and take it far away the

moral of the story is if you're out on

the beach and you should see a great big

box and it's within your reach don't

ever stop and open it up that's my

advice to you cuz you'll never get rid

of them no matter what you do oh you'll

so I don't get why Janet always gets to

interview the guests chris you know that

we all decided together that Janet would

be the interviewer you wanted to be the

writer well I changed my mind writing is

hard work and Janet has all the fun and

she gets to meet all those neat people i

don't want to be the writer anymore i

want to be on camera well if you don't

meadow she had a picnic all of her own

while the sheep were all playing

little puppy fell fast asleep and lost

all track of the time while she was

asleep all over she wandered off to play

in the

sunshine she opened her eyes to her

surprise the sheep had disappeared

she looked high and low oh where did

they go they don't seem to be very

near little peep found her sheep on the

other side of the

stream they just didn't think they got

her a drink the water so sweet in the

stream

little B had lost her sheep but she

found them and took them back home

she'll always know wherever they go she

can't ever leave them

alone the whole show is falling apart

everyone's so unhappy with their jobs oh

Billy what am I going to do don't worry

Melanie we'll get through it we have

such a good team here we just have to

keep it together there's got to be a way

to keep everyone happy but how i've got

an idea i'll get all the kids to teach

each other about their jobs and then if

they still want to they can trade do you

think that will work i really do some of

the kids are just a little restless and

that's okay kids do get restless so do

I'm excited about seeing a real live

reindeer is he here yet yes it's waiting

backstage it's so neat looking just wait

this next song is about a very famous

snowman try and guess who he is clue

number one one day he put on a magic hat

and came to life clue number two and he

laughed and played you've probably

guessed we're talking about the famous

Frosty the Snowman frosty the Snowman

was a jolly happy soul with a corn pipe

and a button and two eyes made out of

coal frosty the snowman is a fairy tale

that old silk cat they found for when

they placed it on his head he began to

dance

he could be and the children say he

now." Down to the village with a

broomstick in his hand right here and

there all around the square saying

"Catch me if you can." He led them down

the streets of town right to the traffic

cop and he only paused a moment when he

heard him holler

"Stop." Frosty the snowman had to hurry

on his way but he waved goodbye saying

"Don't you cry i'll be back again

meet Rick Clark and his reindeer Prancer

good morning Rick good morning Janet and

good morning Prancer how are you tell us

how old is he well Prancer is about 10

years old now is he a good pet uh he is

a pretty good pet yes he's very very

gentle uh he's not real good inside the

house though he's a little bit large

with his antlers and and not real

controlled sometimes what does he eat oh

he eats a mixture of alpha alpha and a

special deer pellet that's made up and

he likes papro leaves also which is real

important part of his diet what's his

personality like well he's very docile

he's like a a cow almost in the way that

he acts and his temperament uh he's

actually very gentle they like being

around people they're a herd animal

where do they live naturally uh reindeer

come from a place called Lapland which

is a small country in the northernmost

part of Finland uh they live in all

areas uh north of the Arctic Circle so

they do come from the North Pole can

they really pull a sleigh yes they pull

slays very well they can pull them

individually or they can pull them in

what's called teams where you have more

than one reindeer pulling the team tell

us is it true that their antlers fall

off every year that's correct the

antlers fall off every year and all this

growth that you see here takes place in

about 3 to 4 months now both the boy and

the girl reindeer grow antlers which is

unlike other deer does it hurt them when

the antlers fall off no it doesn't hurt

them at all uh they're made to to fall

off every year they fall off in the

springtime by the way uh just before the

babies are born how long do the reindeer

live in captivity reindeer will live

about 12 to 15 years wow wow in the wild

they do live less because there's nobody

to take care of them if they get sick

did they get really big uh this is about

the full size some of them get a little

bit bigger than what what Prancer is

here this is about average size for a

reindeer how big are they when they're

born uh when they're born they're about

the size of a c*ck spananiel puppy so

they're not very large they grow very

fast they they weigh about five or six

lbs when they're born you said that

they're sensitive yes they're very

ticklish can I pet him yes you may
