Boo-Boo Bear, gliding for the Yogis.

Wait a minute, Boo-Boo. You're in there all wrong.

The trick is all in the wrist action, yeah.

Uh-oh.

H-h-help!

Excuse me. Well, it's not Boo-Boo.

It's the team captain, Yogi Bear himself.

[Yogi] Ya-e-e! Let me off at the next floor.

Hey, Boo-Boo.

[gibberish]

What did you say, Yogi?

Cut the strap, Boo-Boo!

swish

Yogi is making no forward distance

but he has, however, turned into a living yo-yo.

What a leader! Like he always tells us

"You've gotta take the ups with the downs."

Hey, Yogi, what did you say?

- 'Cut the strap.' - That's what I thought he said.

snip

But not down.

[screaming]

I guess that's what he wanted.

crash

I guess it is. Bad timing, Boo-Boo.

[male announcer] 'Alright, it's time to check the scoreboard.'

'The Rottens received 25 points for first place'

'giving them a total of 65.'

'No points for the Scoobies and Yogis'

'which leaves them as they were.'

'So, on to the next event.'

[whirring]

I'm over the target range

where the skydiving contest is about to commence.

The objective is to land as close as possible

to the center of the landing square.

[plane droning]

[snickering]

Diving first for the Yogis

will be Grape Ape and Yakky Doodle.

'Plane is on the target area'

'and the Yogis are in the jump position.'

[sniggering]

[Snagglepuss] 'And there they go-o-o!'

Going down, one ape and one duck.

[male announcer] 'The objective in this event'

'is to free fall as long as possible'

'while navigating to the target area'

'at maximum fall velocity of 125 miles per hour.'

'If the ripcords are not pulled, the chutes will be useless.'

Gra-a-pe...A-a-pe.

Pull the ripcord!

Wait a minute!

They seem to be wearing the wrong chutes.

'Yakky is just hoverin'

'but Grape Ape is falling like a rock.'

Uh-oh. This could be disastrous.

boom

What a jump by Grape Ape!

An earth-shattering hit right in the center of the target.

But is he okay?

[cheering]

Grape Ape! Grape Ape!

Back upstairs, as Yakky Doodle continues with his drifting fall

let's pick up with Junior Creepley

jumpin' for the Rottens.

'A fine jump by Junior Creepley.'

'Except, he seems to be a bit left of the target patch.'

[male announcer] 'As he pulls his ripcord, he is right on target.'

[Mildew] 'A beautiful display of teamwork'

'as Junior and Orful join hands.'

Unfortunately, they're fallin' off target.

No. Excuse me. They're back on target.

'No, wait. They're off target.'

'No, wait. They're on target.'

'They're on. A bull's eye for the Rottens.'

'What a dive!'

A skillful move but hardly legal.

Right, Blue Falcon. But meanwhile

let's ask Snagglepuss how the Yogi Yahooeys

Yakky Doodle is progressing with his jump.

Get me down. Get me down!

Let's pick up Tinker and Scooby-Dum

who have just jumped for the Scoobies

'and are approaching the landing patch.'

[humming]

Unfortunately, the moths got to the parachute first.

'And Scooby-Dum is forced to try and plug the holes.'

Mildew, can you pick up their approach in the landing area?

It appears they're gonna be wide.

Get movin', Speedy.

Looks like they've blown it.

Oh, come on, team, come on.

vroom vroom.

Right on, Speedy.

Yahoo!

Now that's a legal assist.

The Scooby Doobies teamwork has done it again.

They landed right on target.

Well, that about covers it, folks.

The Scoobies get 25 points for first.

[male announcer] 'Tension fills the air as we go check the scores.'

'The Scoobies now have 60 points.'

'The Yogis, no points'

'while the Rottens lose 25, for hitting a moving target.'

[all clamoring]

'Speaking of moving, look at that.'

'It's amazing.'

'Yakky Doodle is still aloft.'

When will he land?

Get me down, Get me down!

[male announcer] 'Now into our final and deciding event of the day.'

'Snagglepuss here. The judges have agreed.'

Yakky Doodle, originally representing the Yogis

in skydiving, can be rescheduled as their entry

in the hot air balloon race.

[cheering]

[male announcer] 'Along with the Rottens' Fondoo'

'and the Scoobies' Teen Angels and Captain Caveman.'

'Now, direct to Mildew Wolf for an on-the-spot report.'

Mildew Wolf here

at the top of the hot air balloon race.

The silly racers are off in more ways than one.

I see Yakky Doodle has gotten off to a good start.

Remember, the team that crosses the cliffs first wins

and earns 25 points.

What's that? Fish-flying Rottens?

[Fondoo] Gangway, Moldy Wolf.

[Mildew] That's Mildew!

[male announcer] 'The Teen Angels are ahead for the Scoobies'

'but the Rottens are approaching.'

Oh, no! Look! It's the Rottens.

Abra-ka-boom. Abra-ka-spike.

Show those teams what the Rottens are like.

A spike, that will punch our balloon.

Quick girls, drop the sand bags.

[Fondoo] I will puncture their race plan. Drat!

[male announcer] 'As the two balloons near the finish line'

'the atmosphere is electric with excitement.'

[thunder rumbling]

Yeah, I got a flash for ya, it's stormy even.

Oh, what a beautiful day.

Quick girls, the umbrella.

Here we go.

[male announcer] 'What competitors!'

'I tell you, sleet or snow can't stop'

'the raw stamina of these athletes.'

[growling]

'They push on to the finish line'

'without so much as a word of complaint.'

Get me down, get me down!

[male announcer] 'The Scoobies and Rottens race into the clouds.'

'The Scoobies are well in the lead.'

Oh, boy. Oh, boy. Oh, boy. I'm safe.

[male announcer] 'The Scoobies are being slowed down by Yakky's chute.'

'Can the Rottens catch them at the finish line?'

'It looks very close. A photo finish.'

'We'll have to wait for the results.'

[crowd cheering]

[cheering]

'It can go either way, folks. So, standby.'

'Is it the Scoobies or the Rottens?'

[Snagglepuss] 'They're dropping their anchors.'

Watch it, you clumsy clods.

[male announcer] 'And here is the photo.'

'It is a tie which gives them both 25 points.'

'So the Yogis have 40, the Rottens, 65'

'and with 85, the grand champions today'

'are the Scooby Doobies.'

[cheering]

Ha, personally, I prefer the "or not."

I believe I'll give the victors a hand.

Not me. I've had enough of those windbags.

Snagglepuss snagged even.

Well, how about a last minute interview then, Snag?
