getting tune ups.

Today, I'm giving you special upgrades.

an engine that's powered by renewable energy!

Also what's renewable energy?

- It's energy that you get from things that never run out,

so you can always get more.

- Yeah, things like wind and sun and water,

even heat from inside the Earth.

- Ooh. - Whoa.

- Wow.

[bright fanfare]

- Ooh-whee, it sounds like a race is about to start!

- Whoo-hoo! - Yay!

- Come on, let's go check it out!

- That looks like the starting line for a race.

- A race? [laughs]

I love racing!

Hey, don't start the race without me!

You want to join the race too?

- Hey all you gas lovers out there!

It's me,

the Gas Guzzler!

I'm at the starting line of this race

that, like, everybody's talking about!

But the really big news is I'm so cute

next to this checkered flag, right?

[sputtering]

This cannot be happening!

[engine rumbles]

I'm out of gas,

and the race hasn't even started!

Where am I gonna get energy from now?

Oh, wait, never mind.

I'm the Gas Guzzler.

When I need gas,

I just take it from anyone I want.

Anyone like, uh...

him! [laughs]

[dramatic music]

[beeping]

Ooh-whee, that's more like it.

- You two ready to race?

- Yeah! - Ready!

- Racers, on your marks...

[engines rumble]

[tires squealing]

- [sputtering]

- What's the matter, Blaze? - [grunts]

I don't know.

For some reason, I can't drive.

- Sorry, can't stop. Gotta race!

- Wait, who are you?

- It's me, of course, the Gas Guzzler!

[engine rumbles]

- Oh, no!

What are you gonna do, Blaze? - [sputtering]

I can't let that Gas Guzzler win.

I've gotta find some way to get more energy.

- I've got an idea.

Blaze, why don't we use your new engine?

- Yeah, it doesn't need any gas at all.

It uses renewable energy!

- With renewable energy, we can get energy

from things around us that never run out,

like wind, sun, water, and heat from inside the Earth.

- Look, the wind is blowing!

- Let's use that to give us energy.

The wind is charging our engine's battery!

- That green light tells us how much energy

is in our battery.

When the light gets to the top, say "charged!"

- Go ahead, Blaze, give it a try.

- You're driving again!

As you probably guessed,

I'm doing really great in this race

and looking so cute doing it! [smooches]

Ah! I'm out of gas again?

But who am I gonna get gas from now?

- [humming melody]

- Hm, I could take gas from him.

[laughs]

- ♪ I'm having so much fun ♪

♪ Racing with my friends ♪

♪ And now for some reason I'm slowing down ♪

♪ And I can't drive at all ♪

Gee, that's strange.

I wonder why I've stopped racing.

- I know why, silly.

'Cause it's me, the Gas Guzzler!

Ow, oh! Whoa, whoa!

- [sputtering] [grunting]

- Oh, no, Pickle! - Hubcaps!

Now you're out of gas.

- Gee, who knew it would be so hard to race

when you can't drive? - Don't worry, Pickle.

We know how you can get racing again.

- Yeah, you can use renewable energy!

- Let's do it!

[upbeat music]

- Remember, we can get energy

from the wind, sun, water, and heat inside the Earth.

- Look, the sun is coming out.

- Let's use the sun's energy to charge Pickle's battery.

- Which button has a picture of the sun on it?

That one, right!

- It's a solar panel!

- Now we just have to make that sunbeam

hit Pickle's solar panel.

- Gee, I wish I could help,

but all I've got is this mirror.

- Pickle, that's perfect!

Mirrors are great at reflecting light.

Help me aim the light to get closer to the solar panel.

To get closer, should I aim higher or lower?

- Now to hit the solar panel, which way should I aim?

Pickle's battery is getting charged with energy

from the sun.

- Well, here goes nothing!

- Okay, Pickle, you ready to get back in this race?

And I'm racing across the beach now,

The sound of the waves, the sand on my tires,

the gas getting guzzled-- [gasps]

and now I can't finish the race!

That geyser's blowing out steam!

- Yeah, that's heat from inside the Earth!

But the geyser's way over there!

- Don't worry, Crusher, old pal,

we'll give you a push.

[all straining]

The heat from that geyser is charging Crusher's battery.

[battery hums]

- Come on, let's look for more geysers

so we can charge Crusher's battery all the ay.

- Look carefully.

When you see steam coming out of the ground,

say "steam."

[geyser whooshing]

- Hang on, Crusher!

His battery is charging even more.

- Oh, whoa!

- Help us look.
