01x01 - A curious butterfly

it's night time on the farm where Connie

the cow lives with her mother mom and

dad they're all fast

asleep suddenly Connie is woken by the

constant chirping of a very noisy

animal what is that

noise she discovers that all that noise

is coming from a very happy nocturnal

Cricket Connie has never seen a cricket

before and she's very frightened and

runs to the safety of her mom and dad oh

thanks Connie it's so lovely to be with

Mom and Dad at times like

this the sun rises on a new day and it's

time for

breakfast oh I do so love the smell of

all the plants thinks Connie as she

wanders amongst the flowers

across the meadow a butterfly is

fluttering by looking for a

snack wow thinks Connie as she looks at

the butterfly that is such a pretty

butterfly look how gracefully it moves

its

wings help says the butterfly that cow

wants a snack too and it's me oh look

it's so friendly thinks Connie that she

starts to follow the frightened

butterfly who has no idea that Connie

only wants to

play isn't there any way I can shake off

this cow pants the

butterfly tired from the chase the

butterfly lands on a

bush thinks the butterfly she can't get

me here because it's too high I can't

reach I can't

reach oh I know that the butterfly wants

me to reach him but I don't know how to

thinks Connie suddenly she steps on a

plant and has a brilliant

idea hello says Connie very happily oh

the butterfly lands on the Hedgehog the

only Hedgehog in the world with a sock

better cross

it but con sinks to the bottom of the

river at the bottom she starts to

walk what funny little animals says

Connie they're walking without any

feet suddenly Connie realizes that she

can't breathe and quickly splashes to

the surface oh what a

shame I don't want to get out of this

water it's so refreshing the butterfly

is very happy I knew you couldn't cross

the river now you'll have to go home and

leave me

alone but Connie is already thinking of

another plan to cross the river she's a

very determined cow you see

hello oh no not

[Music]

again oh I can't move says Connie who's

now stuck in the

mud at last thinks the butterfly now

she'll leave me in

peace but the butterfly starts to feel

sorry for Connie I'd better get some

help

the butterfly heads towards a flock of

sheep great this is exactly what I need

thinks the butterfly and he starts to

annoy one of the

sheep I'm going to teach you a lesson

Connie poor little old me says the

butterfly I can't fly another centimeter

worried

Connie oh look it's Connie her mom and

dad say happily Connie is delighted to

see her mom and dad again and runs to be

with

them oh I love a happy ending thinks the

butterfly as he flies off

home happy and contented Connie falls

asleep it's been a very exciting day

isn't nature wonderful she dreams
