the search for patches

color it was a lovely morning
and Connie was very happy as she set out
from her little house she knew that her
friends were waiting in the woods to
play with
her but on the way Connie noticed a bush
that was moving all on its own oh so she
stopped to have a look I think that
someone's hiding in that
[Music]
bush well I never it's a little white
dog what's the matter little dog you
look very sad yes you're right I am
Connie I'm sad because I'm worried but
that's amazing how do you know my name
because I'm your old friend PCH Connie
you're my friend
patch but that's impossible my friend
patch is a different
color his nose is black his ears are
black and the tip of his tail is black
too oh but the rest of his body is brown
I know Connie that's just how he used to
be but I went out for a walk today and I
lost all my
color Connie told patch that together
they would soon find his color again and
they set out to look for
it they looked high and low but they
couldn't find Patch's color

anywhere patch was sad I'm never going
to get my color back
again my colors were bright and cheerful
like that
snakes and look at that butterfly Connie
his wings are lots of different colors
compared to him I look sad and
boring hey don't worry patch I've had an
[Music]
idea Connie's idea was to cover patch
completely sweetly and brightly colored
flowers you look great corny do you
think these flowers look okay they're
very colorful aren't
they then the flowers started to tickle
[Music]
patch dear
PCH the flowers were not a success but
Connie didn't lose heart she carried on
looking for a way to make patch colorful
hey Pat I found a color for you oh great
I'm
coming Connie took patch to a great big
muddy
puddle look patch a lovely brown color
like how I used to

be it's all sticky I don't like this
color that's okay patch I've just had
another great idea

Connie asked one of her friends Brenda
the Sheep to give her some wool thank
you so much for giving me your wool Mrs
sheep you're welcome anyway in this heat
I'm better off without it goodbye Brenda

patch con was pleased because thanks to
the sheep's wool patch was brown again
but soon he started to get very hot in
his woolly

coat Connie thought that perhaps
covering patch in wool in the middle of
summer was not a good idea and They
carried on their
search I'm stabbing why can't we stop
have something to
eat I'm hungry too but there's no food
around
here patch LED Connie to an Old
Log this is Bernie's Secret store he
always keeps a bit of food in here and
just then hey oh that's my food it's

you're not patch patch is brown with
black spots and you're

white you see that not even bnie
recognizes me what am I going to do
watch out
what a big splash of fell in the water
Pat you've got your old color back again
where did you find it I don't know I
just fell into the water and look here
it is I'm so happy Connie jumped up and
down in excitement and something strange
happened Connie you've changed color now
you're right Pat
oh I'm white the two friends understood
what had happened patch had been cut
covered in dust just like Connie of
course when you fell in the water it
washed off all the dust and your real
color showed through again here comes
Bernie see if he recognizes me hello
there patch how are you hello Bernie I'm
fine thanks and I'm very glad we bumped
into you again and what a relief you
managed to recognize me this time of
course I recognized you patch you're
unmistakable but I don't think I've ever
met this white cow before but that's
Connie it can't be Connie the cow she is
blue not
[Music]
white what a surprise for Burnie it's
true it's Connie what had happened was
so funny that the three friends laughed
and
laughed and as she went off to sleep
that night Connie thought what fun it
had been helping patch and how lucky she
was to have such a good friend sweet
