week there's not one strawberry left

find some more strawberry plants and do

someone who can sniff them out for us oh

yes and just who would that be hatch all

dogs have a good sense of smell but his

is amazing

Connie was right patch normally had a

wonderful sense of smell but that day

something strange had

happened try as he might he couldn't

patch Connie's plan was to put some

fruit very close to patch so that he

would be able to find it

easily come on patch I'm sure you could

sniff out some fruit if you put your

mind to it he's right for example if you

were looking for an apple I'm sure you

could find one straight away an apple I

try I'm so sad I can't smell anything it

looks like I've lost my sense of smell

seek patch smelled each one of them in

turn so that he would be able to find

them by following their

scent but although patch sniffed and

sniffed everywhere he couldn't find his

friends I'm hopeless my sense of smell

is so bad I can't even sniff at my three

best

friends maybe you have a

cold what's that a cold maybe you've got

a block nose and that's why you can't

smell anything oh if my nose is blocked

how can I unblock it you can unblock it

with the oil of the leaves from the

eucalyptus tream so what's a eucalyptus

then Henry the owl explained that

eucalyptus is a very special plant that

unblocks your nose when you smell it he

gave patch some to sniff oh it smells

very

strong now I can smell again I've got my

sense of smell

Henry patch was very pleased to have his

sense of smell back

back our wonderful noise is working

perfectly again now WoW patch that's

great news I know why don't we all

celebrate with a game of hide and seek

should go home there's a thunderstorm on

its way and it'll get here soon what are

weather's fantastic I can near it and

when my noise is working it never lies

home not long after Connie and her

friends had gone home a great storm blew

up it rained and rained and the animals

were very happy because rain fills out

the rivers and lakes it makes plants

grow and cleans the dust from their

leaves oh Connie don't stand outside

looking at the rain you'll get wet come
