lamb it was a beautiful sunny morning

and Connie woke up bright and early so

she could go and visit her friends the

sheep I love playing with the Sheep we

always have such fun

while Connie was on her way to the farm

where the Sheep lived Maddie the lamb

was running about impatiently she

couldn't wait for Connie to arrive she

wanted to

play where

Connie hey hello there Maddie Maddy's

Mommy and Daddy had things to do and

they knew they could leave Little Maddie

with Connie you don't mind playing with

Maddie while we go on a little errand do

you Connie of course not madd's my

friend will have lots of fun together

you will behave yourself while we're

away won't you m and make sure you both

stay here on the

farm

well we better be up see you

here wait don't run so fast poor Connie

it seemed that Maddy was in a

mischievous mood Maddy stop running

away

he can't catch me he can't catch

both into trouble remember your mommy

and daddy said we had to stay on the

farm but Maddie paid no attention and

carried on running across the

meadows

game when Connie's head popped out of

the log she looked around for

Maddie Maddie where is she she's

gone Connie had to run a long way before

she finally caught up with her friend

I'm looking for something to

eat come on Connie hurry up hey don't

me Maddie kept on running and all the

time she was going deeper and deeper

into the woods

hey why didn't you stop for a minute

suddenly Maddie realized she had no idea

where she was oh Connie I don't think

I've ever been here before and I can't

remember which way we came how are we

going to get back to the farm don't

worry I'm sure we'll find our way home

[Music]

again they hadn't been walking long

before Connie noticed some little ba*ls

of wool in the bushes pieces of madd's

fleece had got caught in the Twix as she

ran along Maddie look you've left a

trail of wool all we have to do is

follow it and it'll lead us back out of

the woods what a good idea you're a very

clever cow

Connie come on Maddie keep up we're

almost there

[Music]

now and by following following the

little walls of wool Connie and Maddie

got out of the wood soon they were on

their way back to the

[Music]

farm oh Connie I'm so happy to be back

home again and look here's mommy and

daddy we got back just before they did

didn't we madd's mommy and daddy were

very happy to see their little

daughter

hello Sheila hello Giles I hope you've

done the things you had to do they had

been to get a present for

Madie look it's a little toy car

[Music]

fantastic Connie was very pleased to see

Maddie playing with her little toy car I

hope that our little MD behaved herself

while we were away did you and played

nicely together on the farm like we said

I was a little bit naughty we went into

the woods and it was my idea but Connie

found the way back I'm sorry for being

so silly cnie oh it was all okay in the

end now why don't we play with your car

oh yes let's play and Connie and Maddie

played with the little car all afternoon

long they had a wonderful

and that night as Connie went to sleep

she thought that playing with a little

lamb can be a lot of fun but you need to

be very patient and
