Post by bunniefuu »

by the name of Ribbit That's me And a

fiddle playing crab by the name of

Gumbbo He show us something to see Now

we got Big Alig Gator on piano And we

got Billy Bob Possum on the

bass and Joe Raccoon on guitar And I'm a

div dancing all over the place And we'll

be rolling down the river traveling by

the light of the

moon Rolling down the river going to

reach our destination

soon All the swamp critters are picking

and singing a

tune Rocking in a reeling battle

wheeling down the lost lagoon

Yeah we'll be rocking in a reeling

paddle wheeling down a lost lagoon

[Music]

[Applause]

We're never going to have this place

ready for the big Christmas show tonight

We're just not working fast enough I

want everything to be right tonight

Especially for the trapper

kids Who are the trapper kids

The trapper kids are the kids who got

hurt in the traps that were set out in

the swamps Big Al's invited him to the

big show tonight Relax Big Al We got

plenty of time to finish Right now we

better run down a song or two for

tonight Good

idea Hey Slim make sure we got plenty of

critter cooler for the night and plenty

of seaweed sandwiches and plenty of

mushroom

[Music]

shakes Yeah right

Jingle bells jingle bells jingle all the

way Oh what fun it is to ride in a one

cow open sleigh Hey jingle bells jingle

bells jingle all the way Oh what fun it

is to ride in a one cow open sleigh

Dashing through the mud in a one cow

open sleigh He's chewing on his c and

laughing all the way Bells up on his

horns making spirits bright What fun it

is to pick and sing a slayighing song

tonight Oh jingle bells jingle bells

jingle all the way Oh what fun it is to

ride in a one open sleigh Hey jingle

bells jingle bells jingle all the way Oh

what fun it is to ride in a one cow open

sleigh

[Applause]

gumbo Dashing through the mud in a one

open sleigh He's chewing on his cut and

laughing all the way Bells up on his

horn making spirits bright What fun it

is to pick and sing a slayighing song

tonight Jingle bells jingle bells jingle

all the way Oh what fun it is to ride in

a one open sleigh Hey jingle bells

jingle bells jingle all the way Oh what

fun it is to ride in a one cow open

sleigh Oh what fun it is to ride in a

one cow open

[Music]

sleigh Son I still don't understand why

we got a cow walking around on the stage

with antlers on his head You know what

I'm saying

Well Ribbit we ain't got any reindeer

here in Lost Lagoon so we do the best we

can Well what do we need reindeer for

[Music]

Well excuse me but ain't you ever heard

of Santa

Claus Yeah son I heard of Santa Claus

but that don't mean there is

one You mean you don't believe there's a

Santa Claus Oh

well I ain't never seen any proof of

it You ain't never seen the wind either

but you know it's there

Well that's different

Why is it different Ribbit

It just is Besides I can feel

the

wind Well Ribbit Santa Claus comes to

Lost Lagoon every year Just look around

on Christmas morning at all the happy

little critters faces That'll show you

there's a Santa

Claus Son I believe in Santa Claus when

it snows in Lost

[Music]

Lagoon I can't believe Ribbit thinks

there ain't no Santa

[Music]

Claus Yeah too bad we can't prove it

Hey Joe you just gave me an idea Maybe

we can prove to Ribbit that there's a

Santa

Claus There that should do it Now we'll

just tie the note to this balloon Float

the balloon high up in the air and when

Santa comes by tonight he'll see it Then

he'll give Ribbit the Christmas spirit

Well what if he don't see the

balloon Oh he'll see it All right we'll

float it high above the trees so he

can't miss

[Music]

it Boy that's higher than old Blue J

Thomas can

fly there Now Santa can't miss it

And I greet the critters all along the

way Not a single worry on my mind Life

on the river So well son what do we have

[Music]

here Dear Santa Claus please come to

Lost Lagoon tonight and give Rivid Eye

Lee the Christmas spirit He doesn't

believe in you Sincerely Billy Bob

Possum Why I can't believe that boy

would do such a foolish thing When

reindeer can fly that's when it'll snow

in Law's Lagoon

And when the evening sun goes

down and the moon comes rolling round I

get the feeling that the world is mine

Life on the river so

fine Yeah Life on the river so

fine Life on the river so

fine Yes it is Yes it is It certainly is

Excuse me my good man but may I have a

word with you

Son you can have all the words you want

Words don't cost nothing You know what

I'm

saying My name is Kringle and well I

need some

help Well what seem to be the problem Mr

Kringle

I've been making some very special

deliveries tonight all over Lost Lagoon

but my sleigh got stuck in the mud and I

can't get it loose I was wondering if

you would mind taking me on your river

boat so I could make my deliveries on

time Son excuse me for saying but you

look a little old to be a delivery boy

And ain't you a little warm in that

heavy coat

Oh I'm making deliveries tonight in all

kinds of weather and in some places it's

freezing Son it ain't froze around these

parts since I was kneeh high to a June

bug Now I'd like to help you but I got a

show to do tonight You know what I'm

saying I happen to be a swamp

critter Well every delivery I'm making

tonight is to a little swamp critter

No I mean the band Oh never mind Look Mr

Cringle I'd like to help you but it's

almost time to go to Big Al's for our

big Christmas show I just ain't got time

to take you to make your deliveries I'd

be late for the

show Oh but I guarantee you'll be back

in time Besides if you don't help me

think of all the little critters that

will be disappointed that they didn't

get their packages

Oh all right Climb aboard

[Music]

son It'll take us all night to deliver

that much

stuff Not to worry my good man We'll be

back before you know it

[Music]

Where's Ribbit The show starts in 15

minutes and the place is

packed Oh there's still plenty of time

My guess is he's with none other than

Santa Claus

Santa

Claus That's right Big Al I tied a note

to a balloon and floated it up where

Santa could see it I told Santa to go

see Ribbit and give him the Christmas

spirit

Billy Bob I got some bad

news I just came from the swamp where

you sent up the balloon and well the

balloon was on the ground and the note

was tore up

But that means Santa won't see the note

and Ribbit still won't believe in

[Music]

him Well I hope you're satisfied Mr

Kringle I'm going to be late for my show

and I Well what do you know Why the

clock says I still got 15 minutes to

make it to the show Must be something

wrong with that

clock There's nothing wrong with your

clock Rivet Remember I guaranteed that

you'd be back in time for your

show But I don't understand how Well

never mind But it looks like you still

got a few more things in your bag there

Oh I just have one more stop to make You

run along to your show And thank you

once again You've helped make a lot of

little critters happy by showing the

true Christmas spirit You thought of

others before

yourself Aw I didn't do nothing Well Mr

Kringle it was nice meeting you Hope to

see you

again You can count on it Ribbit

[Music]

It's about time The show's about to

start Keep your show on Big Al I told

you I'd be here Where you been Ribbit

Oh I helped some old fella deliver some

packages His sleigh was stuck in the mud

so I took him on the river queen

Uh did you say his sleigh

Yeah So

what Don't you see Ribbit An old fella

in a sleigh delivering

packages Oh come on boys You don't

expect me to believe that was Santa

Claus do you

Well who else could it have been

An old man delivering packages That's

all Besides his name wasn't Santa Claus

It was Cringle

Chris Kringle

fool I I don't know I didn't catch his

first

name But Ribbit Chris Kringle is Santa

Claus Listen you believe what you want

to I'll believe it when it snows in the

bayou Now let's

boys Now way up at the North Pole it's

freezing all year round

Even big old polar bears are hiding

underground They'll have to wait till

spring to see what Santa brings But here

in Lost

Lagoon the Christmas bells will ring Oh

there's nothing quite like Christmas in

the

Bayou Every Christmas tree is full of

moss and pine cones too

And Santa brings his toys in an old

dugout canoe Oh there's nothing quite

like Christmas in the

bayou Now way out west it's sunny in

California They have to look at

calendars to know it's Christmas Day Why

I hear they're even surfing right up to

Christmas

Eve But Lost Lagoon is special That's

why I'll never leave Oh there's nothing

quite like Christmas in the

Bou It's a good time feeling Battle

wheeling special

holiday And critters help each other And

that is why we say "Oh there's nothing

quite like Christmas in the bayou

[Music]

and pine cones too And Santa brings his

toys in an old dugout canoe Oh there's

pleasure it is to be here tonight I

almost didn't make it but thanks to

Rivid Eye Lee I made almost all my

Poor fella He thinks he really is Santa

Claus What a shame

You said almost all your deliveries

Santa You mean you missed one

Yes The most important delivery of all

for the Trapper Kids

See Ribbit I told you he was Santa

Claus Aw that don't brew nothing Anybody

can give

presents And now before I leave there's

one more special gift to give to Ribbit

E Lee who put others before himself

tonight and showed the true spirit of

Christmas Merry Christmas one and all

[Music]

Looks like Santa has left the

building I wonder where Ribbit's present

[Music]

is Son either somebody got a bad case of

dandruff or it's snowing in the bayou
