something that might appear to be magic in one case it's colorless in other case

it's a deep blue another case a deep yellow the apparently magic part about

this is that all all these tubes contain the same substance you might be familiar

with acids ordinary vinegar which you probably have in your home is an acid though a very weak one and you may have seen ordinary lye which is a base and

you can see the blue color appearing and appears to be a faint blue as we continue to add base liquid we become even an even deeper blue we can suddenly

about in the lower layers of everybody's skin are tiny grains of dark brown coloring material called melanin melon means dark or black melanin is the name

of a dark brown coloring material in everyone's skin pretend for a minute

that this coffee is like the melanin in your skin

when looked at from a distance the tiny grains of brown melanin appears to make

skin and even brown or tan color if you have only scattered grains of melanin

your scan looks very light a medium amount of melanin makes a medium brown

skin tone and if you have a lot of melanin your skin is very dark brown and

all the shades in between are made up the same way but why does some people's

skin look pink ok yes there are some other things that affect skin color and

they are shared by dark and light skin people of life first have you ever

noticed that on your knuckles and under your fingernails and other places where your skin is stretched and thin it looks pink in the same way people who have

thin skin all over their body may have dark brown tan or light skin with a pink

or reddish tint and of course skin can change color in the Sun turn red when

you blush or turn pale when you're sick but these changes don't last and none of

these has as much to do with skin color as melanin melanin is the most important

coloring material and people in every part of the world have it so do people

come in all different colors now no they come in different shades of the same

color and more than that all people have the same kind of brain

and heart and eyes we can all love and laugh and because of that we are very

special indeed

marecus thought returned from Europe yesterday she has been studying painting in France and owns a small speaking his dog in the world

a painter and a woman a long time ago that was unheard of nice girls did not leave home and certainly not to study painting but Mary

Cassatt knew what she wanted and she was determined to follow her dreams no matter what anyone thought a hundred years ago Paris was the place to go if

you wanted to study painting Paris France a city filled with museums and

was some of the great art of the world so mary went to paris to marry the best

way to learn to paint was to visit the museum's sit in front of a great painting and copy it that way mira can learn how other painters created

beautiful effects or how they could make people and the portraits look alive

and by putting little tiny dots all over a painting they could make it look like he was shimmering with a bright light

everything there I learned and she worked hard spending many days many

years studying she finally put to use to create her own work Mary's favorite subjects were families with children she painted her friends

and her relatives she especially loved to paint mothers and daughters for years

she painted and only a few people noticed her paintings

she painted to please herself her opinion of her own work was what matter

if she knew it was good and that was good enough eventually people began to

buy Mary's paintings and she became successful her paintings now hang in the

great museums of the world and she is considered one of America's most famous painters Mary Cassatt man isn't all my friend like to play top
