for some real fun what'd you have in

mind for today's show oh they usual

binky drawing coloring singing and

dancing and answering the phone hey

Sonny don't you know what time it is oh

my Elmer you called me just in the nick

of time it's blue after two and where

are you I'm at the Pappy mind now listen

path I'm on to something big I was

digging in the Batcave and came across a

treasure man I praise Him app you hurt

me right Sonny a treasure map and

according to the map it leads to a very

chest containing the secret of

creativity this is exciting get over

here right away Sonny and bring some

help to follow this map to get to the

buried treasure we're gonna need a lot

of cooperation from a lot of pappyland

pals and we had the poison girls right

here okay they can come along too at

will be there shortly Elmer you hear

that everyone we're going on a treasure

hunt I see you Bianca and lobby and

crystal and Alan and you live and you

too Katie and Brielle would you like to

come along happier if 'ok let's get

brushed up on my map reading you can

copier in for a landing

hi Elmer we got here as quick as we

could hi sunny hi binky while I was

waiting I've been studying this map from

what I can see it leads straight through

crayon Canyon cool yeah let me see hmm

there's some tiny words underneath start

ah this is better no I can read it in

order to start your journey today you

must find some help along the way hey

this is great and you're right here to

working really hard in the mine Sonny I

was just looking forward to long

imagine going on a big treasure hunt

what a great adventure that would be I

to do and let's go then that says we all

need to help each other to get to the

treasure that's right fellas and the

treasure should be right up ahead come

to the map it's this way buddy you hear

that sound yeah it sounds like all over

actually and for you you can finish my

treasure of a doodle ok Doodlebug let's

see what you have good one hmm oh I

think this one's going to be easy okay

hmm I'll start right here you'll be hard

and we'll just put some ham I'm wonder

can read them mm-hmm to find the

treasure with this map you must sit down

and draw an ant hmm well sounds like a

job for Pepe at but first I need my

drawing table table up here whoo isn't

this exciting binky oh boy if you have

your pencils or markers ready we're

ready to do as a map says and draw a

picture of an ant here we go I'm going

to put one circle

right there for one eye and right next

to it another circle let's put two dots

one two that makes it look like the

answer looking at us now I'm going to

draw eyes head and I'm going to stop

right there and continue and curve that

line up and bring it back down and

around and stop that's the ants head

let's put two antennae sticking up okay

we'll put one here just like so and

another one right here good did you know

that most everything has a shape in the

color how many things can you think of

that have a round shape yes the Sun the

Moon wheels and a tree trunk all kinds

of things and looking at and studying

the shapes and colors around you will

help you learn about shapes and colors

you can use in your own pictures now

let's continue by drawing a small curve

line here and this curve line here is

part of his upper body let's bring that

over and connect it right to this curve

line here so we have a curve line here

and another small one light there

that'll be as one of his little hands

resting on his face just like that and

let's just there do you see it now

that's one of his hands and we'll just

connect it right there and this is the

upper portion of his body and the insect

is has three portions so I'm going to

draw the second portion which is a large

oval like that and let's draw the other

portion of his body

and bring that liner line will point

right here but not a shower point just a

very subtle point like that and bring it

around continue right to that point good

now I'm going to draw one arm and bring

it up and right behind this arm is

another arm and we're going to make it

like it's like he's resting his arms on

his on his knees so to speak even though

he has six legs alrighty one two and

then we'll draw for more legs here a

curve line right there another curve

line right here and there the leg the

arm is resting on and another curve line

and the other arm is resting on that

alrighty how is your drawing coming

along keep up your good effort when

you're done you'll really feel good

inside about what you've accomplished

now I'd like to continue here and draw

draw Rock I'm going to draw a rock

before I draw all the feet I'm going to

draw a rock the end actually it's not a

rock at this point it's probably a

pebble he's so tiny the aunt that this

would be a very small small pebble to us

because we're so much larger than this

and there we go stop right there now

let's draw some feet one two three four

and

how long take your time and just think

about what you're doing and when you

take your time it helps you to

concentrate so that you can do your very

best and let's draw another foot and

another foot right here and bring that

around very good now there's there's

another line that we have to put right

here really short curve line just like

so and that'll be the other part of the

rock here we have this line here and

brings it around we brought it around to

here and let's just connect it right

there just like so now since he's

sitting on a a pebble and the pebble is

kind of grainy very rough you ever look

at a rock and it's very very rough well

we're going to indicate the roughness of

that little pebble by just showing some

dots one two three dots right there

let's put three more dots right in this

area you can put dots anywhere you'd

like on your stone or your pebble

because it's your drawing and you're in

control you don't have to draw exactly

like Pappy I want you to use your own

imagination well I'm finished with our

drawing fellas now what can drawing an

aunt have to do it finding the buried

treasure let's find out picture show us

your stuff

it's amazing what you can do with a

little cooperation now what can the

drawing be trying to tell us I think

we'll find the answer right up ahead

like we're here mmm those ants work

could we work together to move yes is a

tough question oh great Caesar salad

it's the rock we got um also big rock

you mean the rock I'm sitting on my

exactly buddy according to the map it's

the rock behind this rah hey babe ok

come on help me move this rock oh here

we go oh we're out ah very good very

good boy oh hi everybody oh hi Jackie I

heard you're at a treasure hunt yes in

fact I think the treasure is inside this

just here it is just lift it over here

hope you are I've got it ah there we go

oh I can't wait this is the secret to

creativity why it's a mirror oh yeah yes

and there's an inscription on the mirror

it says behold your reflection honest

and true the secret of creativity isn't

you that's a such a deep a message it

means all of us have what we need inside

of us all ready to create what we were

that's why turtle oh and a message like

that is worth much more than silver or

gold that's so true Pappy and I've got a

song to tell you more that's just what

we want to hear Sam will be right there

pal well kids now it's time to cover the

picture we drew do your very best girls

and boys and your treasure will be a

picture you can be proud of creating

alrighty I'm going to begin by coloring

the ants kind of a reddish purplish

color additive we'll see what it looks

like some crayons look the same and yet

they're different colors now here we go

let's see yes that's kind of a have a

purple color let's just color in you can

choose any color you'd like of course

I'm sure a lot of you chose green or

brown or black and that's good notice

Pappy left a little shine right there

answer kind of shiny if you could

magnify an ant and look at it closely

you'll see that an ant this kind of

shiny so I'm going to leave some

highlights these are what Pappy calls

highlights all those areas that I leave

white your highlights now I'm going to

color in the next portion here and

again I'm going to leave a white

highlight you see that doesn't that make

it look shiny now let's do this next

area here

and

right in like so and i'm gonna leave

another white area

recall very good do you want to know why

I draw in color girls and boys it's

because I love it when you love what

you're doing you can do a much better

job at it how about you do you love what

you're doing right this minute you do

that's terrific then you're probably

doing a really good job on your pictures

all right let's continue there we go now

I'm going to color in the next portion

like you

and take your time don't worry if you go

outside the lines again nobody is

perfect copies not perfect he's just

doing the best that he can and if I make

a mistake it's okay oops i'm going to

leave another shine here we go again

let's look at this yeah these little

highlights make the ant look shiny and

that looks good alright

now i'm going to choose a color for the

pebble yeah i'll make make it this color

kind of a golden yellow color did you

say you use brown for your stone or

pebble good good choice I love it when

you choose your own colors

good I'll bet each of you have thought

of something special to add to your

picture why not try and add as many new

ideas your picture as you can I can't

wait for you to send them to the Hall of

frames alrighty hmm i think i'm going to

choose green or his feet ok green for

the aunts feet greens for the aunts feet

and fill that right in there it's a very

light green okay notice that the green

cran is dark yet when I actually color

using this cran notice the color is much

different than the color of the krann so

sometimes the color the grand can fool

you I thought it was a little bit doctor

but it's still a very nice light green

so I still like this color and I'm going

to continue and color in his other feet

like so very good animal do his other

foot

oh and brushing on some of the little

pieces or particles of Clan left behind

and what's color it's hand that same

bright green

now i think i'm going to cover his eyes

a nice bright orange just like so

that looks good

take your time fill it right in

and just kind of brush off some of that

little particles well I know you found

it within yourselves to create a

beautiful colored picture hold them up

high so I can see them they're great
