When you walk in there,
there's a lot of dolls.

And a lot of these dolls also
contain a lot of different energy.

the Carmel Doll Shop,

home to antique dolls

But employees and
even neighbors have

complained of loud
noises of snoring

and people working
late into the night.

The owner, Michael,

swears that no one is using
the upstairs apartment at night,

but there is an
immediate energy here

that even I am unprepared for.

So, Michael, have
you ever wondered

that some of your dolls may
also carry the energy of spirits?

I, I don't know in
the sense of spirits,

but I think it's a
definite energy...

a handyman named George

passed away.

What kind of a
person was George?

Soon after he passed,
that's when things started.

his spirit has come back?

personal connection

is clouding his judgment,

on the very staircase
where his neighbor

first sensed a territorial
and malicious entity.

I was coming down the stairs,

and at the fifth

I never hit this landing.

And I ended up in the
middle of this room right here.

It wasn't that I was pushed,

it was almost that I was pulled.

So, you do believe

that there was an unseen
force that had something to do...

who has such a deep and often
dark connection with the building,

to spend the night to see
if her presence will serve

as a trigger object
for spiritual energy.

We leave a digital recorder to capture
any audio evidence while she sleeps.

But before we discuss this,

I have one very

that the puppets were probably
no longer there anymore.

had a dream that was so vivid.

So, I heard footsteps
coming up the stairs.

In my dream,

I opened my eyes and there was a
man standing at the end of the bed.

In your vivid dream,
you saw the man?

It wasn't like a shadow figure,

it was like a man,

probably around 5'11'"

figure is especially meaningful

because I have not spoken to
Chris at all about the handyman.

And he had dark hair

on the temples.

For you to remember
this and the exact details,

um, I think this
was a visitation.

This wasn't just a dream,

this was a
visitation by the spirit

because we have
evidence to back up

that there was somebody
else in the room with you

what I just experienced,

and what I just experienced was a
spirit trying to use my body to let me feel

what the emotion
that this spirit has.

and we were able to document
more EMF readings when I left.

Billy just alerted me that he

as one of our spirit boxes,

and sitting on a bench

with all of our other gear takes flight
across the floor as if something threw it off.

a camera rolling
on our base camp,

but we did capture the device

and the reflection of
two different doll cases.

[Zak] Okay, right now,

we reached the staircase where I just
was very badly affected a couple hours ago.

[Zak] As we make
our way up the stairs,

I decide to stay here to
investigate the second floor

while Aaron and Billy go up
to the third floor apartment.

[Zak] Can you see me in here?

Anybody in this room?

I'm gonna take this recorder,

just set it right... here.

Oh!

[Billy] What happened?

Dude.

Okay, that wasn't the bed.

Oh, my God,
there's a gust of wind.

Something touched my hand,

I'm smelling perfume and a
gust of wind just happened.

[Billy] What hurt your hand?

I thought I bumped a pillow.

If it hadn't been

but I start hearing this.

It's like a... [grunts]
a vocal tone, too.

or anybody that works here?

[Zak] Whoa, what was that?

What are those two noises?

I was absolutely silent.

There wasn't a noise in here.

Listen.

[Zak] Remember,
the recorder was static

on a table 20-feet away from me.

The only things near the recorder
were a couple of creepy dolls.

[Zak] Bill?

[Billy] Yes.

[Zak] Billy is
acting very strange

and later tells us he felt like
he died while on the third floor

and was having thoughts
of seeing his own body.

Just across the floor,

Aaron is experiencing
the same thing as Billy.

Now watch as a
strange light comes

from around the edge of the door

near the door handle.

As both Aaron and Billy
seem to be experiencing

the same disturbing effect
and are frozen in place,

back on the second floor, I
conduct another EVP session.

[Zak] Are you in front of me?

Aaron is in the apartment.

Billy is on the opposite
side of the third floor

in the sitting room.

Jay is on the first floor.

to fight off this trance

that he and Aaron
both have been in,

they try to use the spirit portal
device to see what is affecting them.

And after a series of questions,

they receive no voices at all.

[Aaron] What's your name?

[Zak] But when Aaron
asks, who are you,

a female speaks,

but we can't make
out what she says.

Who are you?

[indistinct noise]

I don't know.

- You hear that?
- [Billy] Yeah.

[Zak] The same female
voice speaks again,

and we think she
says, "tell him to help."

[unexplained woman speaking]

[Billy] Did it say
"Tell me something"?

We can't figure your voice.

You know that?

[Billy] Whoa, something
just touched my hand.

That's what happened to me.

- [Billy] It was like this.

[Billy] Like that.

[Aaron] Who are you?

[Zak] Our investigation at
this very haunted doll shop

provided us with
incredible visual evidence.

Can you talk to Aaron?

[Zak] Which led to
unexplained poltergeist activity.
