19x17 - Dead Reckoning

Post by bunniefuu »

[Sig Hansen]
We're starting over.

Starting on bairdi and I think
just because of the cod fishery,

they got done with the
derby just like we did

and now they're all out at the
same time. That's what's going on.

[Mandy Hansen] Yeah.

We're starting a little
further up the line,

we're in the mid

Historically, that's been okay.

Dad, you're coming up
on someone else's string.

Got more pots ahead.

[bleep] I get the heebie-jeebies
with these [bleep] around me.

Okay, let them go.

- [deckhand 1] Here goes, first pot going in!
- [deckhand 2] Going over!

[deckhand cheering]

We're gonna have some
competition, and it's going rapidly.

Do me a favor.
Start on the first few,

I just wanna grab
a coffee real quick.

[Mandy] Okay.

- [alarm buzzes] -
[deckhand] Over!

[deckhand] Hey. Hey!

[deckhand speaking]

Fishing vessel off my starboard,
I'm gonna pass you here.

[man over radio]

[console beeping]

- [Mandy] Dad!
- [Sig speaking]

[Mandy speaking]

What do you mean it's off?

You wanna... Yeah,
get it out of auto.

Well, you...

Well, you got manual.
Let's get away from this guy.

Holy cats, that was close!

[console beeping]

What the hell is
wrong with this thing?

When I try to
go auto, it sticks.

- It doesn't wanna go.
- I know.

[Sig sighs]

The radar's blinking out, too!

Open up under here.

- Norm, come up.
- [Norman] Roger that!

[console beeping]

[Norman] Huh?

[Sig] Doesn't wanna
engage in auto.

[console beeping stops]

[Sig] Way off course.

This is locked up. It's not getting
information from somewhere.

- Yeah.
- [Sig] Yeah.

- The radar did not have a bearing on it, right?
- [Norman speaking]

Oh. Well, then it's the GPS
under here that's going bad.

That's what's going on.

[Sig] Okay.

See if you can get
the magnetic going.

[narrator] On his
opening bairdi crab set,

Captain Sig Hansen loses his
primary global positioning system,

forcing him to calibrate a
half-century old compass

based off the Earth's polarity
to navigate an accurate course

and avoid collision in
the crowded grounds.

[Sig] Go back about 10 degrees.

More.

[compass clicking]

[Sig] Stop. Now you're at zero.

My course says 219.
Where are you at?

At 218, 220.

Okay, so now let's go...

I think to go to port, you gotta
turn the little hand starboard.

So go like 5 degrees other way.

[compass clicking]

[Sig] There we go.

We'll just keep setting them.

[deckhand] Roger.

Going over!

[Sig] We haven't swung that compass
in probably 25 years. [chuckles]

But if we can save a trip to
town, we should, you know?

We're out here to fish.

[deckhand] Going over!

[Sig] Hopefully the crab
are around this area.

See how it does.

[narrator] 100 miles northwest,

on the Wizard...

[phone ringing]

[Keith Colburn] Hello. Wizard.

[OJ speaking over phone]

OJ, how you doing?

[OJ speaking over phone]

[Keith] I'm not gonna
lie, we miss you a lot.

We've got a
temporary replacement,

but she's putting chicken
stock and weird stuff in your rice.

[OJ speaking over phone]

- [laughing] Yes! Yes.
- [OJ laughing]

All right, give me a call
after your appointment.

Let me know what
the doctor says, okay?

- We need you.
- [OJ speaking over phone]

[narrator] 72 hours ago...

- I need an ambulance. Okay.
- Got it.

[narrator] ...Captain Keith Colburn
rushed crewman, OJ Ganuelas,

to medical care before
medevac'ing him to Anchorage.

[Keith] OJ brings
so much to this team.

I don't know if it was a minor
heart attack or what it was,

but he's home, he's resting.

That's our most
important player.

But we need to
make up for lost time.

We've lost two days already.

[narrator] Now
the veteran skipper

approaches gear
set one week ago,

counting on a long soak to fill his pots
and his tanks before offload in four days.

[Tracy] It's one trip. I can
do anything for 10 days.

I think I can do
anything for 10 days.

No, I can do
anything for 10 days.

It's only 10 days. I got this.

[narrator] Filling
out the crew...

[Tracy] Okay.

Mmm. In that order. [laughs]

[narrator] ...crabbing
rookie, Tracy Payola.

[Keith] I've know Tracy
for a number of years.

Her husband, they're now
divorced, ran my first boat, the Sirene.

She's been out here on boats but
she's never been out on deck out here.

If I keep her productive
with the guys,

I can get this done and
we'll lose virtually zero haul.

[Keith speaking over radio]

Because I guarantee you, there's
some green water in your future right now.

[cheering]

All right. Game time.

[deckhand] What is this?

No good!

Come on, at least give
me a double digit, guys.

[deckhand speaking]

[Tracy] Yeah.

- [deckhand] Gotta get the door and hold the door.
- Oh! Sorry.

I'm not seeing the
numbers we want.

All right, get it.
[knocking rhythmically]

[deckhand] Man!
Where's our crab at?

[sighs in exasperation] Yikes.

[deckhand speaking]

That space up there is
serious red zone, okay?

[deckhand speaking]

Eleven crab. All right.

I mean, we're
getting a scratch here,

but a scratch is not gonna
[bleep] catch us 60,000 pounds.

[deckhand speaking]

One-six. All right.

[Keith speaking over radio]

[deckhand] Roger!

Jump on in there in
attack mode. Attack.

- Right there?
- [deckhand] Yup.

We've only got about

[Tracy speaking]

[deckhand] Going over!

Tracy.

[Keith speaking over radio]

[Tracy grunting]

I don't know that Tracy's gonna
have it in her. Moving at a snail's pace.

[deckhand] You got this, Tracy!

I mean, she's barely crawling.

[deckhand speaking]

[Tracy speaking]

[deckhand] Going over!

Got a lot of things going
against her right now.

- [deckhand] Come on, Tracy! Get 'em, get 'em!
- [Tracy grunting]

[straining]

[Keith] One bad
guy, one slacker,

creates a domino effect into
other aspects of what we're doing.

That's game over.

[sighs] With any luck, we get
through the gear a couple times,

head to town, then
we gotta offload.

It's gonna be close.

[narrator] 600 miles northeast,

on the Kodiak bairdi grounds...

[narrator] ...aboard
the Victory.

Yeah, boys!

[Bob] Whoo!

There's a lot of
crab left on the table.

[deckhand 1 speaking]

[deckhand 2 speaking]

[Bob] I might have
to try to slow down,

but it's hard to slow down
when you're making money.

[narrator] With 26,000 pounds of fleet-wide
Kodiak bairdi quota caught every hour,

and less than half her

Sophia "Bob" Nielsen harvests
during every available minutes

of the derby fishery.

- [deckhand 1] Yeah!
- [deckhand 2] Yeah! Money!

Whoo!

That'll do, pig. That'll do.

- [deckhand 1] Holy...
- That'll [bleep] do!

[Bob] I like this pot.

I want every pot

to be like this. [laughs]

Dump it.

Going over!

[Bob speaking over radio]

[deckhand] Roger!

[Bob] We're anchoring
up for the night,

we're gonna get some rest, I plan
on starting at eight o'clock sharp.

Don't really wanna waste time.

Just want to try to get as
much fishing as I can in.

How does the saying go?

If you ain't early, then
you're late. [laughs]

We've been working all day.
I'm gonna feed everybody.

All I wanna do is catch
crab, make money, go home.

Yep.

[Brandon] I'm gonna make some fried
pork chops and broccoli and cheese sauce,

and probably some
mashed taters or something.

Maybe a salad.

- [alarm beeping] -
[deckhand speaking]

[Bob speaking]

[alarm beeping]

[Brandon speaking]

[Brandon] Probably some
mashed taters or something.

[narrator] On the Victory...

[Brandon] Maybe a salad.

[Bob speaking]

- [alarm beeping] -
[deckhand speaking]

[Brandon speaking]

[Bob] Can you
start the small gen?

[generator starting]

[Bob] Oh [bleep].

[Brandon speaking]

[Bob speaking]

[Alan speaking]

[narrator] With no fresh water for
the $25,000 of crab in her tanks...

[Bob sighs] If I don't
have the big generator,

I can't pull the anchor, I can't
circulate out my crab, I can't pick pots,

looks like my season's
coming to a screeching halt.

[narrator] ...Captain Bob must
secure a $50 belt to restore power

before her payday
turns to dead loss.

[line dialing]

[line ringing]

[Bob] Hey, brother.

[Brett speaking over phone]

My belt broke, and I don't have
any spare belts for that big gen.

[Brett speaking over phone]

[Bob] Yeah, that
would be really helpful.

[Brett speaking over phone]

[Bob] I'm over by Old Harbor.

[Brett speaking over phone]

[Bob] My brother's got a skiff, and
hopefully he might be able to meet up

with us and he can
grab me a spare belt.

Crabs are on life
support for sure, right now.

Doing what we can though.

I'm just hoping it doesn't
cost me the season.

We're running out of time.

[narrator] On the
bairdi crab grounds...

- You guys ready to go?
- [deckhand speaking]

[narrator] ...aboard
the Northwestern...

Last night, we were towards
the end of our set down that ridge

and the steering compass went
out, so we just set it by hand.

It's not exactly
the best way to go,

but sometimes you
don't have a choice.

[narrator] ...running on a less
precise analog guidance system,

Sig and Mandy approach
four prospect strings

set above the crowded
southern grounds.

First pot should be right
around... there! [chuckles]

First load!

Whoo!

[Sig] The gear has
about 14 hours on it now.

And if there was any kind
of life, I mean, you know,

a crab an hour's always good.

You get two crab an hour,
that's even better, right?

You never know.

[Sig over radio] First bairdi!

[deckhand 1 chuckles] Oh, yeah.

[deckhand 2] Whoa!

It looks fishy.

- [Mandy] Yeah.
- [Sig] See that?

[deckhand] Boom! Bairdi!

[deckhand 2] Yeah, buddy!

Give it a quick count.

[deckhand] 25 crab, 13 keepers.

There's volume, and that
means there's crab around.

[deckhand] Come on, crab!

[deckhand laughing]

There's still some
volume in there.

Yeah, it's starting
to come alive now.

[deckhand] Yeah! Whoo!

More crab on this end.

[Sig speaking over radio]

They look better, too.

I don't know, Mandy, I
might be onto something here.

Just end for end it
on the sign we have?

[Mandy] I would
run them up the hill.

What if they're
bigger right there?

They you have a better
lay of the land, too.

sh**t further up north and
see if we can find some schools.

If I had a GPS and I had an
autopilot that worked off the GPS,

I probably could.

We're on mag.

I mean, we're barely
getting by as it is, from A to B.

How you gonna set
straight? That's the problem.

If we keep the speed
up and let the guys know,

maybe we can
dump 'em pretty quick.

There might be...

You know, the faster you go, the
straighter you'll be able to keep the boat.

No, that's true.

More volume, thinner crab.

[Sig] All right, let's
get 'em up the hill.

[narrator] Normally setting
between four and five knots,

Sig and Mandy hold course by
calling on all 1,400 horsepower

of their 3,000 cubic
inch American diesel,

doubling their speed to
a wave-crushing 8 knots.

[Sig speaking over radio]

It's not against it, it's
quarter bows. Be ready.

Stand by.

- Roger!
- We gotta get serious.

Can you adjust that
thing just 5 degrees? Try.

Ready?

All right, here we go. I'm
gonna napalm this place.

[Sig speaking over radio]

[deckhand] Going over!

We gotta keep 'em tight.

Let's go!

Come on, come on!
Come on, come on!

[Mandy] How's that?

Thank you.

[alarm buzzes]

[deckhand] Let's go, let's go!

You gotta go to
the right, starboard.

[Mandy] Okay.

[Sig] Seven degrees.

The straighter, the better.

[alarm buzzes]

[deckhand] Let's get
some, baby! Let's go!

Whoa!

Hopefully we made
the right choice.

We'll see.

[Keith] What the hell are
you guys doing in here?

You got some bondage gear or something
on the floor? What the hell is that?

- What are you bringing on the boat?
- [man] Is that handcuffs?

I thought if I quit I was still
gonna make my money everyday.

I was just gonna figure it out.

[Keith] Oh! They're boot cleats.

[chuckles] I'm outta here.

[Keith speaking]

[narrator] Aboard the Wizard...

What's going up here, Mouse?

I hear a lot of back... Oh.

And I was gonna say, "I hear a lot
of backing down," but I can see why.

[Monte speaking]

No, you could barely
see past the bow out there.

[Monte] It's gotta
be right here.

[Keith] If OJ was here he'd
already tell you where the pot was,

Mouse, if we had him on the bow.

[Monte] There it is, I
got it. It's over here.

Oh, okay. Get in there.

While we're hauling our north
south gear, and the fog has settled in.

If we get a 60 average out
of this, could be in business.

[narrator] With visibility limited to a

Damn it. I had it and
then I lost it again.

[narrator] Navigating
by instrumentation

to catch his remaining

Okay, I know you're right here.
I know you're right [bleep] here.

All right, I think I see it up
there, I think that reflector's us.

[deckhand speaking]

We just barely picked up that
reflective tape and that was it.

Come on, guys, get it for me.

I don't wanna have
to turn in split pea,

it might take me [bleep] 30
minutes to find this bag again.

All right.

[deckhand 1] You got it?

[deckhand 2] Nope.

[deckhand 2] Yeah, I don't know.

[Keith] Is it under the bow?
It's not on the anchor, is it?

[deckhand speaking]

[Keith] It's hanging
up on something.

[deckhand] Nothing.

What the [bleep], guys? Come on!

[narrator] On the Wizard...

[Keith] Is it under the bow?
It's not on the anchor, is it?

I think I'm gonna have to put
a guy up on the bow to help.

[deckhand] No, it's
hooked on something.

Gotta call in everybody to step
up and give everything they've got

and give even more.

The new greenhorn,
she can do this.

[narrator] ...to free
up a deckhand...

Tracy, right now, I could
use you on deck, okay?

I will not yell at you if we
don't have biscuits, okay?

Don't worry about the biscuits.

[narrator] ...Keith pulls
Tracy off the frying pan...

Boots, cleats, gloves,
vest, belt. Yeah.

[bleep] yeah!

[narrator] ...and into the fog.

Rog, put another guy up on the
bow to help you start looking for 'em.

[Roger] Roger!

[Tracy speaking]

[deckhand speaking]

[deckhand speaking]

All right, now I got it.

[Keith speaking over radio]

[deckhand] Okay.

Tie a figure eight on it.

popped free.

[deckhand] Got it.

Come on, baby, come to papa.

[deckhands cheering]

[chuckling] There it is.

[deckhand] Looking good!

[deckhand speaking]

Right on, guys, right on.

Tracy, I need you to hustle
up with the guys, all right?

We gotta get this
gear in the water.

Doing things double time now.

If my husband could see me right
now, he'd be laughing his a*s off,

saying I told you so.

I don't know how
it's gonna work out.

[alarm buzzes]

I guess we got
hands and feet though.

All right.

[bleep]

- [deckhand
speaking] - Okay, yeah.

Something.

This is a job you should google
before you [bleep] say yes.

If I would have ever thought that I
was gonna have a 49-year-old woman

that has never worked on a
crab boat working on my deck,

I would have said, "You've
gotta be kidding me."

[Tracy] Come on.

I win!

But desperate times,
desperate measures.

So far, she's helped keep this
boat working at the pace I need

to get this crab on board.

- [alarm buzzes] -
[deckhand] Going over!

There's not a lot
of margin for error.

[narrator] On the
Kodiak bairdi grounds,

aboard the Victory...

I got a broken belt
for my big generator.

Without my big gen, I can't
circulate out my crab, I can't pick pots.

Looks like my season's
coming to a screeching halt.

So, every second counts.

My brother, Brett, was supposed
to come fishing this tanner season,

but unfortunately he had
some other job obligations.

Hopefully, he is able to help.

Whoo! Brett's here
to save the day!

[horns honks]

[chuckles]

Ahoy there!

- [Brett speaking]
- [Bob laughing]

[Brett speaking]

[Bob] Hey, brother.

[Brett] Hey, brother!

- Not much, just [bleep] making a lot of money.
- [Brett speaking]

Dude, this used to be Mom's!

- [Brett] Really?
- Isn't it pimpin'?

- [Brett] That was Mom's?
- [Bob] This was Mom's.

- I'm not throwing these.
- [deckhand] No, don't throw those.

[Bob grunts]

[Bob cheering] We
got the gen again!

Nice!

- [Alan] All right, hoist me back.
- [deckhand] All right.

- [Bob] I love you, brother.
- [Brett speaking]

Thanks for bringing the belt!

You're my heroes!

I got dibs on the muffs.

Wish me luck.

[Bob speaking]

[man speaking]

Right now, life-saving
water back online.

Hopefully, we're gonna
turn the big gens back online.

So, we'll see.

[generator powering up]

[Alan speaking]

Everything's running pretty good
right now, but I better not jinx it.

[knocking on wood]

I'm gonna drive
back to my first string,

we're gonna haul a couple pots

and we're gonna see
how well it works out.

Hopefully it's loaded.

[narrator] 500
miles southwest...

[Sig speaking]

You guys ready to go?

[deckhand speaking]

[narrator] ...aboard
the Northwestern...

As we move north,
the crab looked better.

So we moved gear to the
north here, right on that ridge.

Hopefully, this pays off.

First one's coming up.

[deckhand speaking]

All right, Mandy, let's
see if your gut's right.

We gotta put all our
eggs in one basket here.

You know, if it's a bust,
we're gonna get too far behind.

And then we're not
making any money.

[Sig] Come on, baby.

[narrator] On the
Northwestern...

[Sig] Come on, baby.

[deckhands cheering]

Oh? See?

- What's that?
- Looking good.

[exclaiming]

Yeah!

How many?

[deckhand speaking]

- There was 23 in it?
- That's good.

[deckhand speaking]

[Sig speaking]

I'm taking it.

[chuckles]

[deckhand] Looking good!

Perfect. See, now we
don't even need sun.

- [chuckling] - This looks
great, too. And there's a rider.

[deckhands cheering]

They're still trying to
climb in, they're riders.

[Sig speaking over radio]

hours, let them soak?

- [deckhand 1 speaking]
- [deckhand 2] No!

I just drank two cups of coffee.

[chuckles]

[deckhands cheering]

For the first time, that table's
looking pretty full right now.

[Sig] See, you were right. You
said, "Go north," we went north.

When you go with your
gut, you're always right.

Hey, I'll take it.

[Sig] Good job.

[laughs]

Well, I hope to get the
most we can out of this.

[Mandy] Yeah, let's
keep grinding here.

[narrator] 500 miles northeast,

on the Kodiak bairdi grounds...

[Bob] I'm glad that the
generator was a quick fix,

but I gotta pay more attention

and be checking on it regularly.

[narrator] ...aboard
the Victory...

[Bob] Coming up.

I'm just anxious for what's
gonna be in the pots this morning.

I just have to make another

And everybody gets paid.

[deckhand 1] Oh, [bleep]!

[deckhand 2] Oh, yes!

Whoo!

- [deckhand 1] Whoo!
- [deckhand 2] That'll do, pig. That'll do.

- [deckhand 1] That'll do -
[deckhand 2] That'll [bleep] do.

[deckhands cheering]

[Bob] I like this spot.

- I like money.
- [Bob] I like money.

I need both your hands
full of measuring sticks.

[mimics whooshes]

I cannot complain.

I mean [bleep] this is the
second day we came through here,

and there's still a lot of crab.

This is pretty hot
fishing over here,

so I have a really good feeling that
we're just gonna pull and step back.

Now we gotta
make up for lost time.

Gotta squeeze every
pot in while we can fish.

I just need it
to stay like this.

[laughing]

[narrator] On the western
bairdi crab grounds...

[Keith] There you are.
How's your back doing?

[Tracy] Oh, fantastic.

[Keith] I saw you stretching it
out out there, it's not fantastic.

[Tracy] No, it's
a little [bleep].

[Keith] You got a booger.

- [Tracy] Do I?
- [Keith] Yep.

Thanks for telling me and not
letting me just hang out here with it.

[Keith] No, I'm not gonna have you
have a little bat in the [bleep] cave.

- Bats in the cave?
- Okay, you're good. Nope.

Get on out there.

[narrator] ...aboard
the Wizard...

We're back up on the gear,
we need about 50 crab in a pot.

I'm gonna wanna get through
this gear as fast as I can,

and then we go to town and pray.

[Robby speaking]

I tell you, when I
was a greenhorn,

I didn't get this
[bleep] treatment.

None of us did.

[Robby speaking]

[Keith] You never
critique the new greenhorn

based on how they
do the first 24 hours.

It's how they do on the
second 24, and the third day.

That's when things
start to breakdown.

That's just the way it is.

[Tracy speaking]

[Keith] She's sore, tired.

And we need some inspiration.

Turn this around.

Hey, Tyler, come up to
the wheelhouse real quick.

[Tyler] Roger!

What's up, Cap?

Hey, so, it's a rite of
passage on the Wizard

to drink cod blood
when you're the rookie.

You want me to do it with her?

If she hesitates, if you could
step up for the team, yeah.

- All right?
- Okay.

[Tracy speaking]

I'm not getting any
cod blood on me.

[Tracy speaking]

[Tyler speaking]

we chug cod blood.

I'm not... That's... I... No...

I hear a lot of jabbering
with a high-pitched voice.

[deckhand] That's right.

[Tracy] I'm drawing
the line. No, I can't.

It is kind of a rite of passage
on the Wizard to do it.

Every person that's ever
worked on here has done it.

[Keith speaking over radio]

Come on!

[Cody] It's better if you actually kneel
on two cod. It's easier on your knees.

- I heard they're nice and squishy.
- [Tracy] Yeah.

[Cody] You could
use them as kneepads.

[Tracy] I could tape them around there and
then I could slide around the deck [bleep].

Oh, that's so not
okay. That's so gross.

[Keith] What now?

[deckhand] Her knees are hurting so Cody
gave her a couple cod fish to kneel on.

[laughs heartily]

Here's another set of kneepads
for you. This'll be a good one.

[Tracy] No more
fish. No more fish!

- [Cody] Go ahead.
- [Tracy] Oh!

Oh, it's not okay.

Oh. Actually, that's not bad.

[narrator] As Tracy
struggles to pad her knees,

Keith and the Wizard pad their
profits right into second place.

[narrator] On the Wizard...

[Keith speaking over radio]

Come on!

[Tracy speaking]

[Tyler speaking]

I'll do it.

[Keith] Right on!

You got this!

- Ready?
- [Keith speaking over radio]

You get a good amount of blood.

Oh! [laughs]

[deckhands cheering]

Right on!

[deckhands chanting]

That is a badass
Bering Sea b*tch.

You know, right now the morale's
high, the crew's in good shape.

She is going to help us.
Glad to have her here.

[Keith speaking over radio]

Let's get our 50 counts, man, that's all
we're after. Just nice, easy 50 counts.

[deckhand 1 cheering]

[deckhand 2] All right.
We got crab, folks.

[Keith speaking over radio]

It's got some
crab in it. Right on.

That might just be
a 45 or 50 count.

[Keith] 66, right on. It must be pretty
clean, too, because you guys ripped through.

[deckhand speaking]

[deckhand] Oh, yeah, baby!

Oh, yeah. We got a big one!

Bang!

[deckhand] Yeah, baby!

[deckhand] Six-four.

[Keith speaking over radio]

[Tracy speaking]

[deckhands chanting]
One of us! One of us!

Yeah! Whoo!

[Keith] Doing a great job.

She filled in just enough to take a
little bit of the workload off the guys.

Help here and there to make it a
little bit easier on the four-man deck.

And she did that.

- [deckhand] Thank you.
- Yeah.

All in all, more a of a
help than a hinder by far.

Whoo!

[Keith] With any luck, we can get this
crab on board and then head to town.

We leave in just
in the nick of time.

We'll see.

[deckhands cheering]

[deckhand 1] All clear?

- [deckhand 2] Yeah, it's clear.
- [deckhand 1] Rog.

Whoo!

Still coming up with full crab.

[deckhands cheering]

[Bob] There's too
much crab on the table.

Too much crab on the table.

We've been averaging
about 150 to 200 crab.

So, I mean, they're about
$1,500 to $1,900, each pot.

- [Bob] Go ahead.
- [deckhand] Going over!

[Bob] This is like almost
too good to be true.

The whole string's like this,
keep bringing money on the boat.

[deckhands cheering]

- There we go! Yeah!
- [Mandy] Nice.

We're k*lling it.

- [laughing]
- Weeks. Months.

[Sig speaking over radio]

[deckhand] 67.

Whoa! [chuckles]

So this new lot...

[deckhand] Yup!

- [Sig speaking over
radio] - [deckhand] Roger!

- Oh, I haven't seen that in a while.
- Every time.

I haven't seen
that in a long time.

- [Mandy] Yeah.
- [Sig] Good job, man.

[Sig] So, right now, the magnetic
compass is holding our course,

I think we can make this work

till we get to town.

[deckhands cheering]

All right, guys, that's it.
I'm gonna turn and burn.

We're heading
back to town, okay?

[deckhand] Hey-h*!

[cell phone ringing]

Hello. Wizard, Wizard.

[OJ speaking]

[Keith] Right on, man!

These guys are gonna be real
happy to see you back on the boat.

[OJ] I'm so happy.
We'll make this happen.

[Keith] I'm gonna give the
boys the good news, okay?

It's time to get back to work.

[OJ] I'll be back, Cap.

Bang! We got OJ back.
