01x04 - The Miniscule 7 - Moonraiders

Post by bunniefuu »

From out of the pages of DC Comics comes

the world's newest and greatest

superhero, Plastic Man. He

can spring, he can stretch,

he can fly, he can bounce,

he can change his shape,

and he can even dance.

Each week, Plastic Man will face the

world's greatest. greatest collection of

villains.

There's action. There's

comedy.

There's danger.

There's penny. There's bad

luck cooler.

There's plenty for everybody on the

Plastic Man Comedy Adventure Show.

Eat your heart out, eight man.

All right, boys, tomorrow's the big game.

We're a cinch to win. And once we do,

it's on to the international semifinals

in Japan and then the World Basketball

Championship in Bulgravia. Get a good

night's sleep.

Room service! Room

service?That must be some

mistake. I didn't... Oh, well. I

can always save it for breakfast.

All right, you guys. We've got a big job

to do. Mugsy, Mugsy, you two take care of

the coach. Uh, right, boss.

Lefty, righty, give him a hand with the

meatball. Sure thing, boss.

OK, sleazy. Let him have it.

Hey, what's going on?Quick, shut him up.

Nice work, boys. That super spaghetti

should hold them for hours. Come on. It's

time we took care of the rest of theteam.

I done the last one, boss. These super

sleep fumes will keep them sleepy for a

month. Excellent. Yeah, they may be the

favorites, but they'll be surprised when

they lose tomorrow night's game to us.

The Miniscule Seven!

Oh, it sure is nice just to be able to

sit under the sun and relax. Especially

with you, Plass. Yep, there's nothing

like a day at the beach to give my

plastic a nice tan. That

suntan lotion gets more attention than I

do. Plass! Penny!

Look at me!

Pretty good, huhLeapin'

lagoons, a tidal wave.

Sorry, Pless. I guess I'll always be a

bad luck jinx. Oh, that's okay, Hula

Hula. It could have been worse. Oh,

before the day's over. I'm sure it will

be. It's the

Chief. I hope I'm not interrupting

anything important. Uh, no, we were

just... Sure you were. Now, before we

waste any more time, there's a basketball

game in progress at the Metropolitan

Sports Arena. The Minuscule Seven have

entered the playoffs and insist they're

going to win the championship. Those

little hoodlums must be up to something

big. Find out what and

stop them. Anything you say, Chief. Why,

I'd stretch to the highest mountain. I'd

expandacross the widest ocean. I--

Never mind that. Just get the

minuscule seven. Oh, sure, Chief. We'll

have the case wrapped up before the tide

rolls in.

Sometimes I wonder why I ever got into

this business.

Ladies and gentlemen, the second-half is

about to get underway. It's been an

incredible game so far. The minuscule

seven have played tremendously against

the greatest odds and are in the lead 118

to 12. What's the matter with you guys?

You're playing like you're asleep on your

feet. We've got to win this one. Nice

work, boys. So far, our little scheme is

working perfectly. Now go in there and

show them mugs who's boss. Right

boss. All right,

the second-half will start with a jump

ball.

The Miniscule Seven take charge again

with a fantastic flying offensive. Lefty

and righty have the ball, and they're

double dribbling.

The USA team can't even touch the ball,

and the Miniscule Seven scores again.

I can't believe it. Those little guys are

whooping the pants off that other team.

Yeah. With bad luck like that, you'd

think they had you on their team. While

they're busy on the court, we can do some

snooping in the locker room. Come on.

Look, up in the stands. What is it, boss?

A bird?No. A plane?No, you

fool. It's Plastic Man. He must be under

us. Take care of him. Right, boss.

Oh, there must be 50 lockers. Where do we

start looking?Don't worry, Penny. My

family has been gifted with psychic

powers since the days ofHamehameha, the

Foist. Aha! Well, find all the answers we

need in here. It

looks like the only thing you inherited

was psychic bad luck. Wait a minute.

What's that?Great Mother of Maui. They

must be the minuscule seven's lockers. I

better stretch down and have a look-see.

a magazine. World's richest Raja

wants to buy basketball tee. Maybe

that's what they're up to. Selling the

miniscule team to the Raja.

No, Penny, that's too honest.

Plastic man, look out!

I have a sneaking suspicion someone up on

the roof is trying to stop us.

There he is. And he looks awfully

minuscule to me.

Rat lost him.

And that's the end of the game. The

minuscule seven are the winners with a

score of 288 to 20. We did

it, boss. We creamed that team. Now all

we got to do is cream the next one.

Wrong, Thugsy. The next thing we got to

do is put an end to Plastic Man Snooping,

for good.

Golly, Plastic Man, why don't we just

erect those little rascals?Because we've

only got the goods on one of them, and I

want to get the goods on all of them.

Besides, that's what the chief would

like. I'll get him. Sorry. With your

luck, it'll be a collect call from

Afghanistan. Hello. There's little time,

Plastic Man. If you want to find out what

the Minuscule 7 are up to, meet me at the

Seaside Candy Factory at midnight.

This is where the strange voice told us

to meet him. We'd better check inside.

Right, Ples, I'll go first and check for

booby traps.

On second thought, I think we'd be safer

with the booby traps. You stand guard out

here, Hula Hula. Plazy and I will take a

look inside. Who knows, we might find

some kisses in the dark.

Oh, well, I guess they're right. I can't

cause any problems out here. That's

funny. There seems to be no one here. I

think I'll take a closer look.

There's nothing here.

Nothing here either.

Discover anything?Yeah. I

think I like jelly beans better than

chocolate. It's time we've put an end to

that flexible fool once and for all.

What's

that?

Treyas!

Hey-o! All right, Buggy, start up the

taffy pulling machine. Right, Bush.

Gee, maybe I should check to see if Plaz

and Penny are all right. Nope, I'd just

jinx him and probably cause another

catastrophe.

Now that Plastic Man's been taken care

of, nothing can stop us from winning the

semi-finals. That's right, Sleazy. And

the rest of our sinister scheme will be a

snap. Let's go.

I've got to get out of here before I

become Taffy Man. That's not the

worst of it. I'm about to become

bite-size.

This machine has got me so tangled I

can't stretch myself free. Now,

where is Hula Hula when I meet him?Gosh,

they've been in there an awful long time.

I think I'll go in and see if... No, I'm

sure they're fine. No sense in creating a

problem when there isn't one.

I've only got seconds left.

Well, it looks like you've got yourself

into another fine mess. Oh,

aye, Chief. It's no big

problem. It better not be. The Miniscule

semi-finals in Japan. Find out what

they're up to or I'll have you pulled off

this case. It's good to know that Chief

still has confidence in me.

I've got to think fast. That bubble gum

may be my ticket out of here.

Sugarless.

That did it. I'm free. Now to free

Penny.

Penny, are you all right?Anytime you

rescue me, I am. Hola.

Hola. Hi, Plaz. I did good, huhI

stayed outside and protected you from my

bad luck.

I guess I spoke too soon. Forget it.

The miniscule servant are headed for

Japan, so let's get moving.

So far, everything's going like

clockwork, boss. That's right. And after

we beat the Japanese team, it's on to

Bulgravia, and a prize a thousand times

more valuable than that stupid basketball

championship.

Good flying, Penny. We made it to Tokyo

Airport in record time. And there's the

Minuscule Seven.

All right, driver, step on it.

Come on, we've got to follow them.

Hop in.

Pull over at the Bulgarian Embassy,

driver. I've got a little job for you.

They've stopped at the Bulgravian

Embassy. Hurry!

Yes?I have an important package for the

Bulgravian minister. I'll see that he

gets it.

Whatever the Minuscule 7 are up to, it

must have something to do with the

Bulgravians. Good guess, Penny.

Now we've got to get inside unnoticed.

We made it, boss! Right. Now all

we have to do is photograph the secret

map of the Bulgarian capital.

Hold it!

Got it, boss. Good. With a picture of

that map, we'll soon be the richest man

in the world. Someone's coming, boss.

Quick, hide in that trash can.

This cleaning crew disguise got us right

past the guards. Keep your eyes open,

Penny. Those mini-gangsters could be

anywhere. Don't worry, plaz. If they're

anywhere around here, old Hula Hula will

find them.

HmmI wonder what's in here.

Nothing.

Gee, boss, I thought we was had. Yeah,

that Hawaiian guy brought us good

luck. Now, let's get out

of here. Class, what's this?It's a

map of the Belgravian capital. It shows

the secret roads and guard outposts that

lead to the Royal Arena, the Royal Crown

Jewels, and the Royal Oil Refineries.

Leapin' lava. The Belgravian Royal

Arena is where the World Basketball

Championships are being held. That means

the Minuscule Seven are really after the

crown jewels of the royal oil. Could

be. And with Belgravia's tight security,

the only way they can get into the

country is by winning tonight's game and

going to Belgravia for the finals. But

playing basketball is perfectly legal.

There's no way we can stop them. Oh, yes

there is, Hula Hula. We've got to make

sure they lose tonight's game. And your

old plastic pal here knows just how

to do it.

Ladies and gentlemen, the world

semi-finals are about to begin. And once

again, the Minuscule Seven are the

overwhelming underdogs. Thanks to our

super slick fumes, those Japanese players

won't play any better than the U.S. team

did. Just a moment. We have a last-minute

replacement for the Japanese team.

Substituting for number five is Plastic

Man.

Plastic Man?Why that?No good.

Hey!I think he wants us to lose this

game, so we can't get into Belgravia.

Oh, yeah?Well, we'll just see who's gonna

be the loser. A referee tosses up the

ball to start the game, and Plastic Man

makes a phenomenal slap shot to begin the

Japanese offensive with two points.

Sorry, little fellas, but you're not

gonna win this game. Uh, that's what you

think, rubber brain. It looks like the

Miniscule Seven have tied the score.

No! Plastic Man's made an incredible buck

and scores two more points for the

Japanese team! Atta boy, Plaz! Jake, give

it to those itsy bitsy bad guys!

Now to show them the old screwball!

Plastic Man dribbles down the court and

stops it in for another two! And another

two!And another two! And

another two!

It's all out. Now's our chance to switch

the real ball for the heat ball.

Here, Trash, catch!

Uh-oh, something looks fishy about this

ball. It's melting

meat! Oh, no! Plastic

Man's melting into a plastic puddle!

Hey, you're stepping on my nose!

We'll take that!

With only seconds left, the Minuscule

Seven are planning up points!

And they win the game by one point! Wow,

Plastic Shop, it looks like the Minuscule

Seven turned out to be bigger than you

after all. And after tomorrowNext game,

we'll celebrate with a royal party.

Plus, pull yourself together. Oh

no, he's finished.

I just need a little time to cool off and

harden.

We'll be arriving in Bulgravia any

minute, class. We still don't know what

they're after. I do. That minuscule boss

bragged that after tonight's game, they

were going to have a royal party. And

whose picture was on the magazine we

found in the minuscule Sevens locker?

Royal Raja! Let's hope we make it before

the game is over.

And the game is over! And with a score of

have lost.

No! We've won!

God!

All shed, Borscht. All right, good work,

Bugsy. All right, you guys. Pull 'emaway.

And once we get the roger out of the

country, we can maximum for millions.

Someone's coming quick. We've got to hide

the Raja. We've got to find the Raja

before the minuscule 7 get him.

Raja.

Welcome to my palace, plastic man. I'm.

Sorry, Your Highness. We thought... Well,

I mean, I thought... What he's trying to

say is, we thought you were in terrible

danger. Nonsense! I am perfectly fine!

My palace guards can handle any

emergency. Now, if you'll excuse me, I've

got to get some rest.

Just a minute. Didn't you notice anything

funny about the Raja?Yeah! He was

wearing an old beach towel on his head.

No, that was a turban. He was wearing his

sunglasses in the dark.

He's gone. The minuscule

Seven's got him. We've got to hurry.

Quick! We'll take the plastic car.

Jumping macadamia nuts. We've lost

them. We'll check that guard post up

ahead. We're looking

for a tiny car towing a man on a

mattress. Have you seen them? They went

that way. Thanks.

They must be around the next bend. Plants

look out.

Now we need more speed. Get rid of

the Roger.

Oh, no, they've cut the Roger loose. Take

the wheel, Penny. I'm going after them.

You're welcome. I think we lost him,

boss. Bird, as soon as we make it through

that tunnel up ahead, we'll be safely out

of the country.

It is a pleasure to meet you, Plastic

Man. I wish I could have been there when

you captured the Minuscule 7, but I was

sleeping like a baby all night.

Congratulations, plastic man. I hear you

stressed yourself to your limit to

capture the miniscule seven. That's

right, Chief. You might say I used my

head to wrap up this case. No, I'd

probably say it was your big mouth.

Well, you have to admit she's right.

is exciting, players. The first space

shuttle launching. An important moment in

history, which is why the chief assigned

us to see that nothing goes wrong. Is

that why you're isolated, Hula Hula?20

seconds to liftoff and counting. NASA has

certified that booth as bad luck-proof.

hope so. Ten seconds to liftoff and

counting. What could possibly go wrong?

Five seconds to liftoff.

Liftoff.

Oh, ohh sorry, Penny. I got carried away.

Penny, time. Can I let Hula Hula out

now?I think so. The rocket is safely

away. Nothing can happen now. It's all

right now, Hula Hula. No, it's

not. The

rocket ship! It's gone!

Space shuttle one, come in, come in! What

happened?I don't know. It just plain

disappeared.

Idiots! I wanted you to use the matter

transmitter to beam the space shuttle

here!Not everything

else. Good. Now turn the

gravity back on.

Not in here! In there!

We did retrieve the Saturn rocket, Chief.

But where is the space shuttle? Not

to mention the two crewmen. Oh, well,

that may take a bit longer. How much

longer?

Excluding weekends and holidays, it comes

to 14 weeks, 3 days, 11

hours, and 22 minutes. I rounded

off the seconds, of course. Now get this

straight, you elongated excuse for a

superhero. I want that space shuttle

found and returned to NASA by tomorrow

noon. Or else. Or

else... I'll think of something.

You know, Chief, you're really kind of

cute when you get angry.

Wow, I think the Chief's really angry

this time. I'm not sure I blame her.

Losing a whole rocket is pretty heavy.

And it's not all we've lost. During the

past three weeks, we've lost the Hawaii,

California communications satellite, 2

solar mirrors, 1 deep space observatory,

and 11 experimental probes. Maybe

someone's starting the collection. But

h*, h*, h*, h*.

Sorry the accommodations can't be better.

But my moon base wasn't designed for

visitors. Call me Moon

Raider. I don't know how you hijacked the

space shuttle, but NASA and the U.S.

government aren't about to let you keep

it.

Fools! No one can stop Moon Raider.

Before I'm finished, I will own the

spaceways. And he who controls

space controls the world!

Let's give our computer a little workout.

I've got it! Class,

I found the location of the missing space

shuttle and the other satellites. Where

are they, Penny?Well, I triangulated the

source of whatever grabbed them from the

computer data. And?Well, Ben, I

double reversedNo, don't tell us how.

Tell us where. Where are they?In the

moon. On the moon?No,

in the moon. The source of energy that

grabbed the space shuttle came from one

mile inside the moon.

This old island boy gets panicked by high

places. Not a thing to worry about, Hula.

The Saturn rocket will give us the needed

boost to break out of Earth's gravity

pull. Then it's moon, here we come. You

sure the plaster jet can make it to the

moon?NASA helped Penny refit it for space

travel, including extra power for the

trip back. Now we just have to wait for

mission control. Maybe I can speed things

up a bit. 50 seconds to lift up and

counting, 40 seconds to...

It seems we're about to have more

company. So we must

prepare a suitable welcome.

Moon, dead ahead! And something else?

giant robot. What's he doing

on the moon? You two stay put

while I find out.

You are a big one. I hate talking

up to someone.

Hey! I want some answers, and

fast! However, you could wait until I

ask the questions.

Who are you?Moon Raiders, lame.

Controlling outer space is my game.

Your friends are my guests, so you won't

be able to join them.

There's no place to hide, plastic man. My

robot will find you wherever you may be.

There's one place that mechanical King

Kong won't be able to find me.

Oh, he tricked me. Plastic

Man tricked me. He found a place to hide

from my robot. Well, Gawk, come in.

Plastic Man has escaped for now, but old

Moon Raider will have the last laugh.

The one place that robot couldn't find

me, inside his own head. Moon Raider is

about to find his robot sentry becoming a

Trojan horse.

Wow, Moon Raider's made himself quite a

haul. Time to make my dramatic

appearance. Sorry, plastic man. I

finally figured it out. Not even

you can squeeze yourself out of this

trap. Now I'm going to launch my

metal monolith and you on a

one-way trip into the sun.

Just the thought of colliding with the

sun gives me a burning sensation.

Now to have a look around this joint.

It's so useful, Hula. The ropes are too

tight. Weeping Kona, Penny. Just what do

you suppose Moon Raider is up to?Whoever

controls space controls the world.

At least that's what Moon Raider thinks.

And I'm afraid his plan is

sparking. Sorry to interrupt. If you're

all tied up, I can come back later. Oh,

Blair, so we're glad to see you. I'm

darn the astronauts, then head for the

Plaster Jet. I'm going to pay a little

visit on our unhospitable Moon Dweller.

One nice thing about my being on the

moon, my bad luck didn't follow me.

Uh-oh, I spoke too soon. Moonquake,

we'll have to move fast before a big

shockwave hits.

Stop, don't touch the dial.

You've sent all my satellites back to the

proponers. You're not one of

my robots. I thought you'd never

notice. It's Plastic Man. Get

him!

That ought to gum up your works for a

while. Let's put the gravity back

to normal, Plastic Man.

Ever have the full weight of the world,

of the moon, drop on your

shoulders?Ohh

Let me lighten your load, players.

Thanks, I needed that.

Anytime, players, anytime. Class, what's

happening?

This is the big moonquake. Warm up the

plaster jet for a fast takeoff.

Leave me here! But there's no room in the

plastage yet for anyone that big. I've

got it!

Everything Moon Raider stole has been

returned, although your aim was a bit off

target. Well, gee whiz, Chief,

nobody's perfect. Especially

you. But what about Moon Raider?Well,

he wouldn't fit inside the plastic jet,

so we made him ride in the cargo hold.

But you don't have a cargo hold! I

know!
