and that's AJ, my driver and best friend.

- We're going to one of the most important places

in all of Axle City,

the Axle City Rescue Center.

- Check it out.

This is where Axle City's greatest rescue vehicles

come to train.

Rescue vehicles like police cars.

- And ambulances.

- And fire trucks.

They're the Monster Machine Rescue Team.

- Blaze, AJ, good to see you.

- We were just starting our emergency rescue training.

- Do you mind if we come along? - Sure.

Come on, everyone.

Let's show Blaze and AJ how we do things

on the Monster Machine Rescue Team.

[truck horn blares distantly]

- Wow, Crusher, look.

It's the Monster Machine Rescue Team.

They're such heroes. - Pfft.

Being a rescue hero doesn't look that hard.

Here, watch this.

- Gee, Crusher, are you sure you should be using that hose?

- Nah. What could go wrong?

Whoa.

- Guys, look, Crusher's in trouble.

- Ah, ah, whoa!

- Hang on, Crusher.

[upbeat music]

- Whoa!

- Crusher, you're safe. - [groaning]

- Nice job, Blaze.

- Great rescue.

- Say, you ever thought about joining

the Monster Machine Rescue Team.

- Me? Join the rescue team?

- Yeah, to join the team,

you just need to earn one of these,

a Monster Machine Rescue badge.

- Ooh. - Whoa.

- To get a badge, you have to earn

all of these stars.

- Hm, how many stars do we need?

Three. Yeah.

- You can get a star for helping out

in a police emergency, an ambulance emergency,

and a fire emergency.

- What do you say?

You guys want to join the team?

- You bet we do. - Yeah.

- Yeah. Come on, AJ.

Let's go earn our stars and join

the Monster Machine...

- Whoo-hoo! - Go, Blaze!

[dogs barking]

- What a wonderful day for a walk.

Right, puppies?

Oh, my, it's getting windy.

[wind howling and whooshing]

[dogs barking]

- Puppies? Where'd you go?

[dogs barking]

- Oh, no, my puppies.

- Look, Blaze, those puppies are in trouble.

- Somebody, help!

- Don't worry, sir.

We can save your puppies.

- Yeah, we just need to become a rescue vehicle

that tracks down lost things, a police car.

- To turn me into a police car, say police car.

Oh, yeah. - All right.

♪ ♪

[siren blaring]

- Wow.

Police car Blaze to the rescue.

[siren blaring]

♪ ♪

[dogs barking]

- Blaze, look.

The puppies are headed into that tunnel.

[dogs barking]

- We're coming, pups.

[siren blares]

- Uh-oh, those balloons are floating the puppies

way up to the ceiling.

[dramatic music]

- Hm, to save the puppies,

we need to figure out some way to go really high in the air.

[air hisses]

- Hey, I've got an idea.

What if we ride the steam from the pipe?

[upbeat music]

- Yeah, we just need to make sure

there's enough pressure.

- Check it out.

Pressure is the force of one thing

pushing on something else.

Right now, the steam only has enough pressure

to push Blaze this high.

But if we let more steam out of the pipe,

we can increase the pressure enough

to push him up to the puppies.

[dogs barking]

- Quick, let's rescue that brown puppy.

♪ ♪

- To lift Blaze up to the puppy,

we need to increase the steam's pressure to four.

- Count to four with me.

One, two, three, four.

Here, girl.

I've got you.

- You did it, Blaze.

You saved the brown puppy.

- [barking]

- Quick, now let's see if we can rescue that yellow puppy.

- To reach them, we're gonna need more pressure

to lift Blaze even higher.

- Help me increase the pressure to seven.

Count to seven with me.

One, two, three,

four, five, six, seven.

Come here, little fella. - [barking]

- All right!

We saved another puppy.

- That means there's just one more left to rescue,

the black and white puppy.

- And he's floating the highest yet.

- Don't worry, little puppy.

Police Car Blaze is coming.

- To lift Blaze up to the last puppy,

we need to increase the steam pressure to ten.

- Count to ten with me.

One, two, three, four,

five, six, seven, eight,

nine, ten!

I gotcha.

- [barking]

- Way to go, Police Car Blaze! - [barking]

- [laughs] Come on, puppies.

I know someone who's gonna be very happy

to see you all again. - This way!

[siren blaring]

- Puppies, you're back.

It sounds like we're getting a call.

when someone's hurt. We need an ambulance.

- His siren's on.

Must be an emergency.

- It's working.

Our lights and siren are telling everyone

to move over and let us through.

- Let's look to see which lane is clear for us to drive on.

Which lane doesn't have any trucks on it?

The green one, right.

[siren blaring]

- Green lane, here we come.

- Nice driving, AJ.

- Yeah!

More traffic up ahead.

- Activate lights and siren.

- Wow, an ambulance.

- Out of the way!

- Help us look.

We almost made it to the little bird.

[horns blaring]

- We've just got to get past one last traffic jam.

- Ambulance coming through.

- Go get them, Ambulance Blaze.

There's the bird with the hurt wing.

so it can heal up as good as new.

There's a fire at the clock tower.

- Thank goodness help is on the way.

[sirens blaring]

- Police cars, let's keep traffic away from the fire.

- You got it.

- Ambulances, let's spread out and make sure everyone's OK.

- Will do.

- All right, rescue team.

Let's get to work.

[upbeat music]

OK, fire trucks.

Now, it's up to us to put out that fire.

- Ooh. This looks like a big one.

- Check out all those flames.

♪ ♪

- Hey, maybe we can help.

- Blaze. - Yeah, that'd be great.

- All right, Blaze.

We need you to put out the fires at the top of the tower.

Got it? - Yes, sir!

- You can count on us.

♪ ♪

[gasps] Look, Blaze.

I see the flames at the top of the tower.

- To help put out those fires, we need a vehicle

that can sh**t water really far.

We need a fire truck!

To turn me into a fire truck, say fire truck.

Fire truck!

Firefighter AJ, blast the fire hose.

♪ ♪

- Uh-oh.

The water isn't going far enough to reach the flames.

- Then we need to push the water through our hose

with more pressure. - Yeah.

To reach the flames in that window,

we need to increase the water pressure to five.

Where's number five?

There, yes.

[panel beeps]

[pump whirring]

Yeah! - Whoo-hoo!

- We put out the flames.

- Now let's try to put out those flames up there.

- To reach them, we need even more

water pressure, a pressure of nine.

Where's number nine?

There, yeah.

[pump whirring]

You're doing it, Firefighter Blaze.

- Whoo-hoo! - Yeah!

♪ ♪

- Yeah!

Now we just need to put out one last fire,

the fire all the way up at the top of the tower.

- To blast the water that far,

we need a water pressure of .

There it is. [panel beeps]

[pump whirring]

[musical car horn honking]

- Whoa, yeah!

- Whoo-hoo! - Yeah!

- They did it! - Way to go, Blaze.

- Thanks to you, we put out the fire

and saved the clocktower.
