At Space Day, we can learn all about outer space

while doing cool stuff, like going on space rides.

- And playing space games.

[laser zapping]

- And eating space foods.

- Blaze and I love learning about outer space.

[Stripes roars]

- Look, here come our friends,

- [chuckles] Hiya, friends. Where are you headed?

- It's stuff that astronauts use for real space missions.

- Yeah, they've got helmets and spacesuits.

They've even got jet packs.

[all cheer]

- Wow. I wish I could be an astronaut someday.

- Ooh, Zeg wonder what that button do.

- Careful, Zeg.

That looks like the button to turn on these jet packs.

- [chuckles] We definitely wouldn't want to push that.

- [giggles] - No, thank you.

- Blaze, look! The jetpacks are taking off!

- Gaskets!

They're flying off with our friends!

And taking them into outer space!

- Outer space?

- We've got to find some way to get into outer space

and save our friends.

- Wait a second. I've got an idea.

Why don't we go into outer space with that?

- Whoa! A rocket ship! That's perfect.

- We said we wanted to be astronauts.

Well, now's our chance.

- Let's suit up.

somewhere no Monster Machine's ever gone before.

Oops, I thought you said you wanted to fly to the spoon.

[groaning]

- Watts to astronauts Blaze and AJ, do you read me?

- [gasps] It's Watts!

- We hear you, Watts. Can you tell us where you are?

- I'm headed for one of the planets.

It's the second planet from the sun.

- The second planet from the sun?

Hmm, let's check it out.

There are eight planets that move around the sun.

And the second planet is number two.

Where's the number two?

Right there, yeah.

- [gasps] That's Venus,

the hottest planet in the solar system.

- [screaming]

- Hang on, Watts. We're on our way.

- [screaming]

Phew! It sure is hot on Venus.

Must be because the heat gets trapped

by those sulfuric acid clouds.

Sulfuric acid clouds?

Astronaut Blaze, watch out!

[Blaze and AJ yelping]

- Phew, that was close.

- To rescue Watts, we've got to get to Venus

without touching those sulfuric acid clouds.

- Help me look for a hole in the clouds

that we can fly through.

But get ready,

more sulfuric acid clouds up ahead.

- Well, come on, then. What are we waiting for?

This time, you have to make the rocket fly exactly where I say.

to Jupiter!

We'd better figure out where that is.

Remember, eight planets move around the sun.

And Zeg is near the fourth planet.

There, yeah! Planet four is Mars.

- [screaming]

- Hang on, Zeg. We're on our way.

Prepare for landing on the planet Mars.

[Zeg screaming]

- Look, there's Zeg.

He's headed for that giant mountain.

- Hubcaps! That's the Olympus Mons!

- Olympus Mons?

The tallest mountain in the solar system!

Whoa, whoa!

Phew!

Hey, hey, hey, hey, hey!

[chaotic music]

- We've got to hurry and get him down from there.

- Activating Mars rover mode.

[upbeat rock music]

- Whoo-hoo-hoo!

- Astronauts...

both: To the rescue!

- [screaming]

- Don't worry, Zeg!

Mars rover Blaze is on the way!

- Yeah!

Phew, the Olympus Mons is super high.

- It's higher than anything we've ever climbed before.

How are we going to drive all the way to the top, Blaze?

- We can do it.

We just need a lot of Mars rover speed.

we need to go the fastest speed we can,

So now we've only got one friend left to help.

- Come on, astronauts.

Stripes is out there somewhere and we've got to find him.

- Yay! - Let's do it.

[engines roaring]

- Astronauts...

- OK, Pickle, this time you need to make the rocket

go exactly where I say.

- Yes, sir!

So where would you like to fly?

- Hmm, let's see.

I want to explore...

[gasps] The big, hot sun!

- Excellent choice!

[panel beeps]

- [chuckles] I'm doing it!

I'm going to be the first Monster Machine

to visit the big, hot sun!

- That's the planet Saturn.

- [screaming]

- And there goes Stripes.

- [gasps] He just flew into Saturn's rings.

- Astronauts...

all: To the rescue!

Hang on, astronauts, we're going in.

- Whoa.

- Saturn rings pretty.

- [screaming]

- Look, there's Stripes straight ahead.

- Hang on, everyone. We've got to hurry so we can--

- I wonder what that was.

- Ah, Zeg not too worried.

It probably not going to happen again.

[crashing]

[all exclaiming]

- Uh-oh!

Saturn's rings are made of big chunks of ice and rock.

[all exclaiming]

- [shakes jowls] What we do now?

- To save Stripes, we need some way

to get past the ice and the rocks.

- Don't worry, astronauts, I've got a plan.

Check it out.

Our ship has a laser that can melt big chunks of ice.

And it has an abrasion tool that can break apart the rocks.

[mechanical whirring]

- Whoa.

- Loosely based on real technology?

Ooh, Zeg like!

[distant rumbling] - Get ready, astronauts.

Something's headed this way.

- Let's figure out what it is so we know which tool to use.

- Activating ice laser.
