So the 3D imaging expert
just finished his scan

and he found some pretty
remarkable things.

So first, he found
what he thinks might be
some manmade structures.

so when he went back out

to follow up on that scan
on foot,

he picked
something up on his lidar.

Ghosting is a digital term

where you have this image
that appears ghostlike

and you're capturing
every frame of a movement.

This was not
sort of a definitive figure,

but it was a rather
strange thing to see
pop up on the video,

as if something may have been
moving through the image.

I mean, look, there's no one

that should be out there
and whatever that is,

is moving through the area.

this really compelling to me

that we may be looking at
a Bigfoot is that it has
distinctive features,

this head with no neck,
the broad shoulders,

and you can clearly see
that this is something
bipedal.

If this was a deer,

it would contain
that same shape,

but this is something
that is more humanoid
than anything else.

Wow.

That is crazy.

it's really hard to make out
what it is,

but it looked like a human
that was twice the size
of any human I've seen.

an overview of where I'm at.

is an unknown predator

for structures that,

to witness testimony,

may be government
research bunkers.

has bunkers underground.

They used them
for research facilities.

the area

where we could try and locate
these research bunkers?

different from our
last location.

If you're going to have
underground bunkers
in the middle of the forest,

one thing you're
going to need is ventilation,

you're going to need ways
to get water.

So we're looking for things
that would be considered

abnormal to be out
in the middle of the woods,

some indication
that there are underground
bunkers right here

on the forest floor.

to look out for structures.

[Ronny] Yeah, I mean,
the structures that he said,
though, were...

secret bunkers
and spots where they're using
to study Sasquatch,

which I wouldn't be surprised,
you know,

with the government looking

into all these
different reports,

if there was something here.

Let's be honest,
this isn't the first time

that we've encountered
the government in our
research area.

The helicopter's coming again?

had multiple encounters
in this same area,

with what they believe
were covert military aircraft.

a coincidence, man.

They're right
over the top of us.

[Mireya] Why would
the military bother to build

underground bunkers here?

Well, there is a story
from a military base
in California

where they had soldiers
watching the base at night,

and they were told
to expect tall,

hairy humanoid creatures
that would be entering
the base

and to not engage,
but to only observe them.

But that doesn't answer
my question.

Why would
they want to hide it?

Well,
maybe Bigfoot isn't really
what we think it is.

There's a lot of theories
that Bigfoot is an alien.

I don't think they want people
to know the truth

of what these things
might be.

[Ronny] Typically,
when the government
has hidden research areas,

they don't want you to know
what they're up to.

And Bigfoot
has unique capabilities,

and some of these have been
described by witnesses,

things like cloaking,
invisibility.

These are things
that they think
would be of extreme interest

to the intelligence apparatus.

It's all about keeping
things disguised and hidden.

And this is a subject matter
that has a lot of interest
from the US government

and governments
all over the world.

I think all conspiracies
have some kind of truth
at the core of that.

I mean,
I'm not quite buying it.

Just think we have to be
really careful in trying to
determine what the truth is.

I think it's important
not to allow

these conspiracy theories
to cloud your thinking.

Then you start seeing evidence
that fits the narrative.

is find evidence

and create that narrative.

of searching,
we finally hit it.

We found the structure
that Bryce's lidar tech
spotted,

this the research facility

that that witness
was describing?

Not only is this huge area
all concrete,

but there's an opening
that was sealed off.

looking at these structures

and there's no telling
what they are.

Could they be underground
research facilities?

We found the clearing
and the area

where Bryce had noticed
that strange structure
via the lidar.

But if there
was something here,

it was definitely abandoned
because nature has taken over.

We don't know
what these structures were.

They may have been
research bunkers

or something left
from the logging
industry here,

but we do know
they're no longer active.

This was really disappointing
because I was expecting
to get

some kind of evidence
of these underground bunkers

or these secret
government programs,

but there really wasn't enough
information for us to go on.

so many times during
expeditions,

you take a certain path
because you're looking
for a particular answer,

but suddenly you find others.

Bryce found a lidar expert
to help find a structure.

Not only did he find that,

he gave us more reasons
to stay in this area,

these really
strange recordings

that happened
while he was out here.

So determining
what we can see in that scan

is now our primary objective
in this location.

To me,
this is a really good area
to look for wildlife.

Seven minutes away.

of the target zone,

who claims he had an extremely
close encounter
with a Bigfoot.

and found a witness

who had a Bigfoot
encounter right where Ronny
and Mireya are investigating.

to meet with Rob,

who's a part
of the Chikwatribe.

Most of the witnesses
I talk with,

their encounters
are pretty fleeting
and happened pretty fast.

That's not the case
with Rob and his father.

They got an up close
and personal look
at this Bigfoot creature.

this deer trail,

we started hearing
heavy footsteps coming up
behind us and at the,

at the time it sounded like
it was coming down

the same trail
we were walking.

Kind of caught up to us
and then started
paralleling us.

So it kind of would push
through these bushes
into the opening

-where we were at.

And that's when we saw him.

I mean, we could just see
his big shoulders
and chest and...

and all of a sudden
we heard this roar.

I mean, it was
a ribcage-rattling roar.

It felt like the trees shook
and it went right through
your body.

So it's...

And it would run out
and then it would squat
with its legs open.

It was just like
it was looking at us,
it would rock back and forth,

and then, and then
it would take off again.

It was just kind of like
looking around,

like it was looking for us,
it was looking left and right,

and you could kind of hear
its feet shuffling,

and it was sniffing the air.

[Bryce]
Could you hear it sniffing?

Yeah, I can actually hear
it sniffing

and you can hear it breathing,
too.

Oh, my God.

Yeah.
And I couldn't feel my body.

I mean, I was just...

there was so much adrenaline
going through.

I didn't know
what its intentions were.

And I was scared.

How close were you?

[Rob] I must have been
about 15-20 feet from him.

-That's close.
-[Rob] Yeah.

So I saw it clear
from the top of its head
to the soles of his feet.

How tall are we talking here?

Well, I couldn't give you
a definite answer,

-but my dad's six-foot tall.

And his head
came up to right about
where his midsection was,

where his bellybutton was.

Wow.
So eight to nine feet?

Yeah. Big barrel chest.

Very powerfully built.

[Bryce] I'm completely blown
away by my conversation
with Rob.

The fact that he can recall

so many details
of his encounter
is truly amazing.

It's like it's just burned
in my brain.

Really?

I don't know if it's
because of the adrenaline,

but it's like a photo image
in my brain.

Just because of the incredible
amount of detail that you
were able to see, uh,

would you be
willing to have, uh,

something like
a professional sketch artist
draw what you saw?

I never thought about that.

Rob's memory of his Bigfoot
encounter is so strong

that it gives us
this incredible opportunity
to bring in a trained artist

to create an image of Bigfoot
that just for once
is not blurry.

what I was looking for.

We can't rule anything out.

We need to think
outside the box.

We need to try everything.

Any tiny bit of information
gets us that much closer
to proving

the existence of Bigfoot.

And then you have this trail

it just dives right off.

That is really steep.

So if anything that's going
to pass through here,

it's going to be right here

right where we're standing.

There's only one way in,
one way out.

is very limited,

and this trail is tunneling in
and getting into this very,
very tight spot,

which would be ideal
for an ambush.

This could be
a very dangerous situation.

You get that feeling

that they're getting

that smell of either
rotting meat or rotting flesh,

just prior to having
a Bigfoot sighting.

that smell keeps
getting stronger and stronger.

this thing.

It's those spidey senses
that kick in when you know

that something's watching you,

tracking you
and literally stalking you.

where there's no place to go.

We have this steep incline
to the right.

We have a cliff to our left.

If this thing needs to get
past us to go beyond us,

it literally
has to go through the camp
and right over top of us.

I'll stay up for a while

if this thing
comes out of the darkness
at us,

I would rather face it,

where I have
a fighting chance.

with an electromagnetic meter.

can gauge the electromagnetic
frequencies in a given area,

as well as spikes
in temperature.

Every living entity gives off

its own
electromagnetic signature,

and the same would go
for Bigfoot.

So I want you to use that.

just see if we get any signals
that spike,

if anything kind of comes up.

was taken from that lidar.

There's a lot of theories
out there,

and one of them
is that Bigfoot

has the capability to cloak
or to become invisible.

And if Bigfoot
has this ability to cloak,

we should still
be able to pick up
some kind of signature,

whether it be a heat
or electromagnetic frequency.

So the idea is to scan
this area using
an EMF detector to see

if we can pick up any strange
anomalies in the area.

just the lower frequency.

We know whatever was captured
as that ghost image
was definitely in this area.

surprise me at all

if an animal was choosing
to go through that tunnel

in order to get
to the other side

where there's this game trail
that they can
then head into the woods.

I think we should definitely
come back during
the daylight hours

where it's easier to find
the game trails.

but I haven't stopped thinking
about Rob

and his encounter
he had with his father.

It was just incredible
the amount of detail
that he remembered.

It obviously had
a profound effect on him.

as a forensic artist.

Forensic art
is a technique typically
used by law enforcement

for the purposes
of identification,
apprehension

or conviction by creating
a composite art sketch
of an unknown individual.

What can you tell me
about the overall shape of,

uh, the head?

Shape of the head was...

well, it was completely
covered in hair.

Um, the head was proportionate
to the body size.

It wasn't bigger than
the body or smaller.

It's shaped
sort of like a man,

but a lot more robust,
kind of like a caveman,
I guess.

[Michael] What can you tell me
about the top of the head?

[Rob] The head wasn't round.

It was like
kind of square-ish,

and I can see hair on his ears
kind of pointed up like this.

The way the hair flowed,
kind of conical.

You could see that hair
actually come up together
into a point near the rear.

about the eyes?

[Rob] I remember
they were deep set.

I couldn't see any whites
in the eyes.

They were all black.

I remember
I could see his nose.

It wasn't like,
you know, an ape's nose,

-it's like concaved in.
-Mmm-hmm.

[Rob]
It actually had like a bridge.

[Bryce] I'm really shocked
at just the amount of detail
that Rob is able to remember.

I've spoken
to a lot of witnesses,

and I usually focus
on the emotional aspects
of their encounter.

But with Rob,

and Michael drawing out
his experience,

it just tells me
that in most cases,

we're barely
just scratching the surface.

Would you say
this was more human like
or more apelike?

Definitely more human like.

[Bryce]
That's one of the things

that I hear all the time
with witnesses.

It looked more human
than primate.

I remember
his chest kind of came out,

almost like a ledge,

and then
kind of came down like

from where his
clavicle bone was.

Yeah.

And his trap muscles
behind actually came up
to where his ears were.

Man, when you zero in on
just what these things
look like, it's...

it's incredible
the amount of detail
a witness remembers.

[Rob] Yeah.

work with witnesses,
at this point,

I'm a little nervous

pretty confident
this time around

you really remembered
a lot of detail.

seeing that?

It's just like... it just
all comes rushing back.

just telling that story.

I was really blown away
by Michael's sketch

because it's one thing to hear
about a witness's
Bigfoot encounter,

and it's another thing
altogether to see the creature
they were talking about.

a massive tunnel near

where the mysterious
ghost image was captured,

an active game trail.

Just be careful
where you step.

Pelvis?

Yeah, it's a pelvic bone.
It's probably a deer.

It's very well-known that deer
is a food source for Bigfoot.

So there's a high probability
that we're dealing
with a Sasquatch.

I have mixed feelings about it
because there are obviously
a lot of predators

that we know of here.

[Mireya speaking]

There's been a lot of
different trackways found

with bigfoot prints
alongside deer,

like they're chasing
after the deer.

There's been sightings of deer
rushing through the woods
to see

a Bigfoot chasing after him.

There's been reports of them
taking them by their legs
and slamming 'em

against the tree to k*ll them
instantly or actually snapping
their necks,

like exactly
what Bryce experienced
on our first night here.

[animal whining]

[Bryce] That sounds like
a deer being attacked.

My blood just ran cold.

[Mireya]
It's not common to find
the remains of an animal

in the woods just
because of how quickly things

tend to be grown over
or decompose.

While I can't analyze
these bones out here,

I do want to collect samples
and send them to Bryce,

who can then send them
on to a lab for analysis.

Because this is
the first piece of physical,

tangible evidence
that we'd had out here

of what was moving
through the woods.

[Russell] We don't have
that much further to go.

[narrator]
Russell left his camp
without further incident,

but is now back on the trail
of an unknown animal,

moving still higher
into the mountains above.

After last night,
there was no sleep for me.

Zack heard
something approaching us.

I could not get anything
on a regular flashlight.

There was no eye shine
coming back.

I could not get
anything on a thermal,

but I heard it myself.

If something
was on that hillside,

I want to know what it was.

[whispering] Let's work
our way up to this clearing.

[Russell] I know we've got
a clearing about half a mile

to three quarters
of a mile away.

We'll get to that area.

Wherever the hell it's going,
I'm going to follow it.

Look above you.

There's a little tiny basin
right here in front of you,



I could literally
be standing there
and you'd never see me.

Talk about the perfect
ambush location.

Holy smokes.

[Russell]
Are you getting that smell?

[whispering] That's nasty.

[Russell] I'm getting close.

Because on this bench,

I keep getting
hints of the smells
of rotting flesh.

The further I move,
the stronger it gets.

It's almost to the point
where it's just repulsive.

And that feeling has me
on high alert.

[Russell] Hey, hey, hey.

As I come around the bend,

there's a deer leg right
in the middle of the trail
with flies all over it,

and the smell
is just ridiculous.

The feeling here
is just overwhelming.

Back up.

There's another leg
right there. Do you see it?

Oh, man, look at this.

Can you see this up here?

There's bones up there.

Oh. Oh, [bleep].

Look at that.

Can you see all that?

[Russell] There's... there's
multiple skeletons up there.

[tense music playing]

[Russell whispering]
I've never seen
anything like that.

That's not natural, man.

[Russell whispering]
That is disgusting.

That is just really spooky.

[Russell] I spent better than
40 years of my life hunting
in the mountains,

and I've never seen
anything like this, ever.

In front of me,
I'm looking at seven
or eight different animals,

from ribcages
to spines to skulls.

Everything you can imagine
in this one concentrated area.

Right here
is an absolute k*ll zone.

[Russell whispering]
There's old bones and then
there's barely fresh bones.

Something's bringing its kills
to this space here to feed
on it and eat it.

I want to treat
this like a crime scene.

I don't want to get
into it or too close,

because I don't want
to miss anything.

If I go on the inside of this,
I'm going to kind of spoil it.

I feel like I'm walking
in on somebody's dinner table.

It's the lake, the lake.

We were here last year.

Look at that. It's a lake.

So you got plenty to eat
and look how thick
the trees are around it.

You've got seclusion.

Everything around
this lake screams
Bigfoot habitat.

We haven't been
getting stalked.

We've been moving up
his hunting trail
this whole time.

I come around the ridge
and I realize

that I'm right back
where we were last year,

where we had
all that activity.

Seeing this lake,
and right now,
finding this k*ll site,

which is just miles away
from the footprints,

it all hit me at once.

This last week, I've been
being stalked by something,

and I feel like
we've been getting closer
and closer to its home.

And right now,

I'm literally
knocking on the door.

If I'm in my house
and something comes
into my home uninvited

and I take that as a threat,

I'm going to meet
that with a threat.

This is exactly
where we want to be.

Now we're going to find
what we've been looking for.

Feels like I'm walking
into the mouth
of the lion's den.
