01x12 - The Big Gimmick

Post by bunniefuu »

At a mountain resort near the big city,

happy vacationers romped and froliced in

the sun. Hey, Harriet, are you going to

come romp and frolic in the sun, or ain't

you?Little did this happy vacationer

realize that at that very moment, a

strange, gigantic monster was approaching

over the mountain. Wow,

I've seen large mosquitoes, but this is

ridiculous. As we take a

closer look at the monster, we see it is

being operated by a familiar figure.

Pardon me, Sir, but aren't you Professor

Von Gimmick, the scientist?Yes, that's

right. And what's with this monster bit?

Oh, this. Well, I call it the big

gimmick. And with it, I'm conquering the

world. You're going to conquer the world?

Yes. Now, if you'll excuse me, I've got

to crunch a few buildings and things in

the big city.

And as the dread big gimmick approached

the big city, Professor Von Gimmick spoke

to the people. Now hear this. Now hear

this. I'm conquering the world. I am

conquering the world. Only those wise

guys who try to stop me will get hurt. So

scram just to

show them I'll crunch a few small

buildings first.

Meanwhile, down deep in his secret

laboratory, we find Atomant finishing his

exercises, unaware of what is happening

about 998

Ninety-nine 1000.

Patterman next checks the trouble spots

around the world, ready to render aid

beyond the capacities of law enforcement

agencies. A bribery out West.

A runaway dog sled in Alaska.

A stranded cat in Omaha.

Nothing the local police cannot handle.

Wait, something big's cooking somewhere.

It's the emergency call letters. HELP

helpLooks like

trouble in the big city. Big trouble.

Adam. Adam Ant.

Good heavens. That building.

It must not fall

there. Good as new. They who kept

the building from crunching. It was I,

Adam Ant. You cannot win.

So give up this foolhardy venture, you

poor misguided rogue. I've got news for

you. It's ant squishing time.

Ohh Well, here's where my exercising pays

off.

Like stopping some light pats on the

head. That should convince you you're not

fooling around with any ordinary ant. You

got to admit, for an aunt, he don't say

uncle so easy.

Maybe my flame g*n will change his

mind. Yikes!

That's a hot one. Fight fire with

water, I always say.

Now give up while you're still in one

piece. Why don't I just footy

stamp him?

Oh, want to Indian wrestle, eh

Sorry, not hard enough. How about a

little footy twist?

Ooh, that ant has got to go. You are

next, Professor. Up and up,

up and up. Welcome to my super

high voltage electric ray g*n.

I shall switch the rays back through my

antenna and short circuit the

ray g*n.

Heavens, that ant isn't human.

That hidden ant is human to begin with,

you understand. All right, Fun Gimmick,

I'm giving you 30 seconds to surrender.

Then I'm unleashing all my mighty power

on you. I'd better check with my computer

brain machine. What do I do with a

schmart-aleck ant?

It says, Ants can't resist a

picnic spread. Well,

there's a picnic spread that should keep

Adam and busy while I conquer the world.

Time's up, Professor. What do you say?I

say go jump in the lake, or go fly a

kite, or something. Very well! Up

and Adam, Adam,

and... I I feel weak all over.

P-I-C-N-I-C.

Picnic, up and eat 'em,

picnic and...

Wowee, what a spread. Pickles, fried

chicken, sandwiches, layer cake.

No, noI have work to do. Yes, yes, yesNo,

no, noAnd so, with super

determination, Adam Ant resists the

picnic. Bookman, Adam,

Adam, Ant. My rocket

g*n will make end paste out of it.

Big deal.

Okay, Professor, now it's my turn.

Upsy-daisy!

Evans, what a calm down. Fun gimmick

in the scrap iron business. And see that

you stay honest, or you will hear from Up

and Eat 'Em Picnic Ant.

After all, good food and exercise never

hurt anybody. Especially an itty-bitty

helpless ant.
