[Music]

Hey, look. A Dungeons and Dragons ride.

[Music]

Wow. Neat. Give me a break. I don't like

this.

What's happening?

Where are

we? Look

out. Fear not, Ranger.

Barbarian, magician,

[Applause]

thief, cavalier, and acrobat.

[Music]

Who was that? That was Verger, the force

of evil. I am Dungeon Master, your guide

in the realm of Dungeons and Dragons.

[Music]

Dungeons Dragons

[Applause]

Hey, bug rat. Your mother's a tadpole.

[Music]

Hey, what do you sleep up

there? How come nobody?

Nobody's laughing.

[Music]

Hey, somebody do something. Heads up,

Eric.

Hey, what are you nuts? You could have

hit me.

When I get my hands on you guys, I'm Ow.

What the?

Look, it's a car from the Dungeons and

Dragons ride. Maybe it'll take us home.

Presto, think you can cast a spell to

get it working? Well, I I could try.

Then try it on them.

[Music]

Filthy barbarians. Watch it, Eric.

That's my nickname.

Oh, please forgive me, sir

Bobby. But I've had a bad day. Do you

mind?

Let go, you mean mut. Rick, would you

relax? He just wants us to follow him,

don't you, boy?

Come on.

You come on. I'm not following anything

that smells like that.

Here, boy. Where'd you go, boy?

[Music]

Please, please help me. Yeah.

Hey, you guys. Hey, listen.

Won't somebody please please listen?

Don't be afraid. I'm with the good guys.

Diana, where's Diana? Get her away from

the trees.

Thanks. Hey, how'd you know my name? The

the the bullyws are coming. You dummies.

You got to listen. Billions of bullyws.

Do you hear? Zillions and jillions and

dozens. Oh boy.

And this is Bobby. And I'm Sheila. I'm

Terry. And I'm trying to tell you the

bullyws are coming.

And that's Eric.

My turn.

Hey, snake face.

[Applause]

All right, Eric. Everything's okay.

Hi, Eric. I'm Terry, and this is my dog,

Fred. We wanted to thank you for for You

sure there's nothing wrong with him?

Sure. Eric just gets like that every

once in a while. And just when the ride

A Bad Dream

started to get weird, there was a big

flash of light and I wound up here.

Nobody with you? Just Freddy. He jumped

on before they could stop him. Just like

he knew something was going to happen.

So, how'd you know what was going to

happen to Diana? He got a crystal ball

or what? It's weird, but I dreamed it

last night after we got to this world.

Except for you guys. Everything in this

world has been a bad dream. Yeah, tell

me about it.

Oh, not now.

Greetings, young pupils. Hello, Terry.

How'd he know my name? Dungeon master

knows all kinds of things. Huh?

Everything except the way home. On the

contrary, Cavalere, a portal to your

home world lies within those mountains.

Oh, yeah. What's the catch this time?

Before you leave, you must destroy it.

And if we destroy it, it can't get us

home, right? Sheesh. How would we find

it in the first place? The portal lies

within the maze of darkness. To find it,

you must first become lost. I'll tell

you who ought to get lost. You, you

little invisible.

Don't worry, Terry. We'll find the way

home. Right, Bobby? Sure. We'll get the

kid home. Bobby, that's rude. Terry's

the same age as you. Sorry. That's okay,

Bobby. Good night. Yeah, good night.

They defeated the pulling wolves and my

desert men. They must have fought well.

Yes, but they fought with the aid of

another of their miserable kind. A young

girl.

A girl.

[Music]

Ah, shut up. And while you're at it, go

shut off that light.

Wow. What was that?

Terry, wake up. Walk.

Huh?

Look, it's the amusement park. It's the

way home.

Come on, Terry. Come on.

[Music]

Hurry. Run, Jerry.

Run. Get out of here.

Wake up, Terry. Wake up. It's all right.

[Music]

Hey, what? What? What's all the racket?

Terry had another dream. A bad one. Huh?

This whole place is a bad dream. Tell

her to shut up. I'm trying to You shut

up, Bareric. Cool it, Bobby. Let's get

back to sleep. Okay.

Hey, you thinking what I'm thinking? I'm

trying not to. Sure. Hope Terry's bad

dream wasn't about us.

Breakfast

Over here, you guys. Breakfast on the

way. I thought you said Eric couldn't

find food if it came up and bit him. He

can't without help. Look.

[Music]

So, what's on the menu? Stinkweed stew,

boiled beetles, dragon dumplings,

[Music]

a chicken,

lizards, stop that breakfast.

[Music]

[Applause]

I need to stop this thing.

Where? Where did you learn to ride? No

place. I don't know

how. Do you? Oh, no. I know. No, I just

I

Oh, isn't that cute? And while you're

yucking it up, our breakfast is getting

away. Sheesh. You guys couldn't catch

food if it came up and bit you.

Derry, get out of here. Run.

[Music]

No. Stop it. You hear me? Stop it.

[Music]

Wow. Eric, what are you doing? Being

stupid. What else?

Get behind the waterfall.

We're

trapped. Not for long. Yeah.

[Music]

Eric

I don't care if your dream did warn you,

Terry. You took on that monster

single-handed.

That was the bravest thing I ever saw.

But it was Eric who kept us from being

barbecued. That was only the second

bravest thing I ever saw. But you didn't

have a magic shield. Hey, don't

everybody thank me at once. Thank you,

Eric.

Thank you, Eric.

I must find the source of the girl's

power. Then I shall see into tomorrow

and she will dream no more.

Rats. Ow. Be careful. Some of these

rocks are sharp as knives. I got it. How

about a spell that'll turn the rocks

into rubber?

Easy now. Freddy, what's wrong?

[Music]

Look out.

Don't panic. Stay together. This way.

This way.

We got to get out of here.

Freddy, what is it? He wants us to

follow him. Come on.

[Music]

Come on, everybody. Push.

[Music]

Maze

Huh? Where are we? It can't be. I saw

this last night. My dream. Wow. What is

it? A maze. A maze full of traps. And

that that shiny thing on the other side.

I dreamed about that, too. Really? And

what did Mr. Sandman tell you that was?

Watch your mouth, Eric. I'm sure. It's

some kind of magic door. You get in it

and you wind up back at the amusement

park. The way home. All right, let's get

going. Dream on, dummies. You just get

lost. But Dungeon Master said to find

the path home, we'd have to get lost.

Oh. Oh, just forget it. We're going to

get that door open and get out of here.

Get down.

[Music]

Melted

shut. Three guesses. Who did it?

Fvenger.

Now let the young fools dream of going

home.

[Music]

It's okay, Eric. Come on. That's the

third trap in the last 2 hours. It's all

clear.

[Music]

There must have been a battle here and a

long time ago. Yeah, but all these

soldiers were in the same army. Looks

like they all fought each other. And

they all lost, too. And And we're lost.

And it's her fault. Do you hear me? She

She got us in here. She was the one.

What's the matter, little boy? Don't you

like me insulting your goody goody

girlfriend?

Girlfriend. Girlfriend. Bob's got a

girlfriend.

Wait, you guys. Come on. Stop it. Knock

it off.

Hey, would you not wrinkle the goods?

Sorry. Uh, what's going on anyway? It's

this maze. It's affecting our mind. So,

let's get out of here. Wait a minute.

Affecting our minds. Your minds perhaps.

You forget the old cavalier has a brain

as strong as a steel trap.

Beware, Cavalier.

[Music]

All right. Hey, I wish you could see

this. We're really getting

close. Another couple of days and

Hey, cut it out, you traveling flea

circus.

Yeah. So, what do you say we take a

break?

[Music]

Hey,

Terry. You lose something. Bobby, it's

you. It's you.

Hello, Kitty.

The Way Out

About time you got here, dungeon master.

Was that just another dream? Yes, but

like the others, it will come true. What

you talking about dreams for? Just tell

us the way out of here. How do we get

home? The way out is the way home, just

as Verger planned. Very indeed. For a

thousand years, his maze of darkness has

lured unwary travelers with the promise

of the portal home. Many have tried. All

have failed. That explains those suits

of armor. All that remains of a band of

brave warriors, pupils of mine in a time

long past. And after we get out of here,

if you succeed, the portal will remain,

luring countless others to their doom.

So what do you mean if we succeed? The

maze of darkness will try to stop you.

Ah, this place isn't so scary.

I'm sorry. I didn't mean it. I remember.

Hey, I remember. I remember my dream

last night. I remember the way out.

Move it.

Dungeon master. You think he'd hang

around here at a time like this? Hank,

come on.

There. There it is.

[Music]

We We made it. We made it. Yeah,

we made it home. We're going home.

Afraid?

Do not be. You are free to enter the

The Portal

portal and return to your home

world. But first, you must bring her to

me. We passed your test, Avenger. We

beat your maze. Terry comes with us. I

think not. Bring her to me now. You want

her? Come and get her.

[Applause]

I'll try to keep him busy. Get everybody

around the other side and get them up to

that portal. What about you? Somebody's

got to stay and put that maze out of

commission.

[Music]

[Applause]

Whatever you're doing, Crystal, hurry it

up. Huh?

[Music]

Hey, that's pretty good.

There it is. Wait, we got to wait for

the others. You're going home, Terry.

We're not. We got to stop this place

from trapping anybody else.

I'm not going without you.

Sorry, Terry.

[Music]

You'll find a way out of this crazy

world, Bobby the Barbarian. You hear

me? Remember what the dungeon master

said to me. Remember what he said,

Bobby?

[Music]

We got to cross that portal and run for

it. This will never work, Bobby. It'll

work if you don't miss.

[Music]

[Music]

Man.

Hey, Bobby. Be right there. Okay.

Whenever you're ready, pal.

You don't want to do that? Yeah. Why

not? You think I like being reminded

she's gone? I don't want to keep this

thing. Then save it so you can return it

to her.

If this is some kind of riddle, it is

the truth. Before you destroyed the maze

of darkness, Terry had her last dream of

the future. Shall I tell you what it

was?

See, Sheric, enough with the spit and

polish, huh? You can never have too much

polish, Presto. Cuz I ran out of spit an

hour ago. Be patient, will you? Bobby

just lost his best friend. And All

right. Hey, you guys. Hey, will you hear

what's going to happen? Just Wait on

your hair.

[Music]
