experiment we've done before.

MATTY:
Season five of

The Secret of Skinwalker Ranch

is raising the bar
on high strangeness.

From inexplicable
encounters in the air...

What's wrong with this picture?

to baffling discoveries
deep underground...

It looks like a traversable

Lorentzian wormhole.
I mean, think about it.

just what could explain
the phenomena

that the team keeps witnessing?

Wow.

Tonight, I'm meeting with them

to zero in on a key location

of the 512-acre property...

So, you're not going
to stop searching because of

a fear of something
that might happen.

that may soon
reveal the answer.

It still sounded like
something out of

a sci-fi horror movie that,

you know, usually
doesn't end well.

Guys, it has been
an incredibly strange season.

I mean, all the phenomena
that we're witnessing.

I want to get your
general thoughts on

the incredible finds
you've been making thus far.

ERIK: Well, Matty,
it's difficult to say

which is more impactful,

the things
that we don't anticipate

or the things that we do?

- Hmm.
- Well said, Erik.

- Yeah.
- ERIK: As you know,

there are things taking place

in the skies
above the ranch and...

THOMAS: Well, some
of the things are down.

TRAVIS: That's true.

Some of them are
underground in the mesa.

- Yeah.
- KALEB: Every year we bring out

new technologies,
we develop new ideas,

and we just seem to catch
more and more evidence

of what's going on out here.

TRAVIS: Hey, look,
UAP right there!

KALEB: Yep, I see it.

BRYANT: Yep, there
it is. You got one.

TRAVIS: Look in the sky, y'all!

RICHARD: Look at
this one right here.

CHUCK: I don't
know what that is.

TRAVIS: What the
hell is that in the sky?

- To the south.
- TRAVIS: That ain't an airplane.

THOMAS: Quite
frankly, there's things that

I've witnessed and
experienced out here

that I don't know that

I'll ever be able
to quite process.

THOMAS: We're not seeing it.

BRYANT: And we've also had
experiences that were downright scary

that, you know, really
brings home the nature

of what we're doing here.

Well, gentlemen, with
all the incredible data

you're getting, I
want to focus in on

one potential connection

and that's the east field

and the triangle
experiments you've run

where we see an
"in and out" pattern

going between
those two hot spots.

We discovered
something last year

that we did not anticipate.

We happened to observe a UAP

pass through the mesa
between that east field canyon

and the triangle area.

It was amazing to see.

I mean, an object in
the sky comes down,

goes into the mesa

in the east field canyon area,

comes out very
close to the triangle,

and you can't deny
what's in the video.

How many times had
we been told before,

"Oh, yeah, we've seen a
craft fly right into the mesa?"

- Right.
- Right.

I've been approached by
neighbors of the property

that have told me
that they've witnessed

the same thing many times.

Well, what's so stunning is

stories are just stories,
legends are just legends.

So, when you start
finding evidence

of legends, it takes
it to the next level.

Oh, absolutely.

TRAVIS: So, was that object

able to fly underground,

through the dirt,

through the rock,
through the mesa?

And, if so, then
that's really important.

So, we've set up experiments

where we're trying to test,

is there a way to get signals

from one side to the other?

MATTY: I want to just

circle back really
quick to that signal.

As we were simply observing

conditions here on the ranch,

we started picking up

this signal on a
handheld device.

Now, you don't typically
see radio signals

or microwave
signals without having

- a transmitter somewhere.
- Right.

And we continued to see

that signal here ever since.

So, we did one experiment
using that frequency where

Kaleb and I set down
in the east field, and then

the other guys were down
on this end, near the triangle.

So, we're ready to
start the experiment

with the, uh, broadcast.

Uh, yeah, let's
fire it up, let's go.

All right, we're running

the instruments.
We're ready to go.

I wanted to start broadcasting

my own signal
through the in point

to see if Erik would be able
to receive it at the out point.

If the signal goes through,
which shouldn't be possible,

it would be evidence
that something

totally out of the ordinary

is allowing the signal to
pass through the mesa.

BRYANT [on walkie]:
All right, Travis,

go ahead and start broadcasting.

TRAVIS: I'm
starting broadcasting

in three, two,

one.

THOMAS: Uh...

why did I just see
peaks come up?

Yeah. Can you tell
him to turn if off again?

Hey, Travis, do you
mind turning that off?

Copy that.

We're going to turn it off in

three, two, one.

It is off.

ERIK: Whoa. Yeah,
so we are picking up

when he's turning
things on and off.

Hey, Travis,

this is really interesting.

We definitely had some signals

that correlated with
your countdown.

- Whoa.
- We shouldn't be.

We point the
antenna at the mesa,

we see the signal
coming out of the mesa,

right where, uh, we
saw that object come out.

You shouldn't see a signal

pass through three
quarters of a mile...

- MATTY: That's right.
- of rock and sand,

just like you shouldn't see

something fly into a mesa

and out of a mesa.

Uh, we're wondering, is there

something special
about that particular spot?

Well, there's a petroglyph
there at the in point

that's been there for


that suggests that
it's a portal there,

according to the
anthropologist that looked at it.

ERIK: And, Matty, one
of the interpretations

of the petroglyph
art that we see

in the Uinta Basin, is that

there is a connectivity
between distant points.

Who knows, maybe

that's suggestive of what
we're interacting with here.

It's incredible how
you're using that signal

that you've sent
through the mesa.

But I want to talk next about
a signal that you received

during this experiment
and the ramifications of that.

Of all the bizarre phenomena

the team is trying to identify,

one category seems to be

Guys, we were talking about

mysterious signals
that you received

and that you then used.

But I want to go back

and talk about a recent
experiment you did

and a signal you
received that actually

had audio to it.

- What could that be?
- TRAVIS: We've actually

picked up a signal a
couple of different times,

and it seemed to be

modulated in a way that we
could represent with audio.

And, uh, when we

received the signal
in the east canyon,

Kaleb and I were there,

and we started playing
the audio filters on there

to see what... what
it sounded like.

And, wow, when we played
that, it was really creepy.

[whistling, trilling]

TRAVIS: There's something
happening right now.

Holy crap. Look at this.

See this right here?

Look at that, look.

We've got a signal right now

that's in...
that's-that's pulsing.

KALEB: I'm thinking Morse code,

like you're sending...

Well, that's not Morse code.

That's-that's like a
very complex signal.

That would be encrypted, even.

I think it's two things
talking to each other.

That is crazy.

Erik, when you start

looking at data,

I don't imagine you expected

an audio communication,
in a sense, that...

I mean, it sounds like
it's an intelligent response

- to what you're doing.
- ERIK: Yeah, exactly.

It's the timing and it's
also the-the seeming

interactive nature
of those two signals

that Travis just described.

It really does seem like

there's some kind of
communication taking place.

Um, again, we don't
know the origins,

we don't know the
information content.

As spooky or incredible as
that audio might have been,

it's when you started
looking back at footage

you actually saw something.

Kaleb, talk about that
high-speed camera footage

that was related to that.

You never know when we're
gonna have something potentially

interacting in the airspace
with one of our known assets.

- Mmm.
- As we've seen multiple times

with the helicopter
and other drones.

And when we come back
and start doing this review,

we started seeing
a lot of really

interesting things
inside the footage.

So, I want to take us to

the high-speed video footage

that you guys got out in
the east field canyon area.

Oh, yeah. Yeah.
So, we were sitting

right in front of
the petroglyph.

ERIK: I created this
filter so that I could

bring out some of the detail.

So, we've got an event here.

Oh, wow. What is that?

Let's dive in on that.

TRAVIS: Yeah, look at that.

Play it moving. Let's
see if there's anything

like wings or anything on it.

ERIK: Right.

TRAVIS: Doesn't
look like it, does it?

ERIK: No.

Yeah, I don't see any
recognizable features.

TRAVIS: Right.

There's a second clip that
I want to share with you.

So, we've got an event here.

You see the mark here?

TRAVIS: Oh, yeah.

Wow.

What is that thing
that flew into the mesa?

ERIK: I have no
idea what this is.

It's crazy.

Think about this, Matty.

We've had rockets fail

that have hit the mesa at a
couple hundred miles per hour

and they're totally
obliterated, right?

Whatever this thing is, it's
moving way faster than that,

and it just goes
right into the mesa

- with no impact, no dust.
- Right.

One of these things
would be incredible.

But the fact that we
have so many things

happening simultaneously,

uh, that's really where
it takes it over the top

and makes it really
hard sometimes

to compartmentalize
what it is we're witnessing.

MATTY: Dragon, when
you see footage like that,

a UAP, um, that seems to be

in connection, if
not in response to,

- something the team is doing...
- Yeah.

what does that make you feel?

Well, it's interesting,

because this is the first year

we've really deployed

as much of this high-speed
camera equipment

on the property.

And now that we're
going back and reviewing,

and sometimes it's a few frames
within a high-speed camera,

which means this thing
is moving extremely fast.

And it makes us stop and think,

how many things have we missed

in the past as we've
been doing things

because we haven't
been able to catch it?

We don't know.

I mean, could there
be a connection

between that audio
signal and these UAPs?

Potentially. I mean, we've
seen in a lot of our experiments

when things start to go haywire
or we start spotting things,

that signal shows up
a lot of those times.

So we don't know if
it's connected, but...

it's kind of getting
to that point where

it's kind of a precursor to when
stranger things are happening.

- That's true.
- That's an incredible phenomenon.

But coming up, I want
to talk about another one

that might be related.

Pis hard to fathom.

What's equally
hard to comprehend

is where they might come from.

During this experiment,
you ran a lidar drone,

and... [chuckles]
things got wonky fast.

Mm.

ERIK: So, Jim, how
fast is this drone moving?

So, we're gonna
do about 12-point...

Uh-oh.

We're RTK red.

So, right now, the drone

and the base station is
having trouble communicating.

Guys, we just...
we fully lost it.

- What happened? -Really?
- It's returning to home.

The aircraft completely
disconnected.

ERIK: So there's something
out there messing with GPS.

- Is that correct?
- ROYSTON: That's absolutely correct, Erik.

Run me back through that...

what happened and
what it could mean.

As we flew that drone

between the triangle and
the east field canyon area,

there are very specific spots

where we're losing communication

between the drone
and a base station,

one of those locations
being very near

what we call "the
photogrammetry anomaly."

Look at this structure.

This phantom structure

that's sticking up in the sky.

TRAVIS: This is odd.

- I got to tell you, uh...
- ERIK: There it is.

TRAVIS: Wow, that thing's
really prominent from here.

It's like it's a...

- ERIK: Yeah.
- Some sort of big feature.

ERIK: You know, it looks
more than 100 feet in the air.

That's nuts.

Erik, when you first kind of

saw that image in your work,

you must have just...

- It must have blown you away.
- ERIK: Yeah, I mean,

we expect to see in a
photogrammetry survey

an occasional, um, errant point.

Um, but what we saw
in that particular survey,

we've been advised,
is highly unusual.

TRAVIS: And in that
one spot, for some reason,

the images of that spot,

they were stacked up in
a strange cylinder or spire

up into the sky.

And...

that makes no sense.
We don't understand

what caused it. So
what could it be?

I can't help, when I
think of that feature,

think of a-another feature,

the stone feature on the ground

and its proximity to the spire.

And we have, basically,

a spiral right here

that's been...

put into this ground here.

That spiral is indicative of...

A portal, a dimensional
rift, uh, an opening.

- What do you make of that?
- TRAVIS: Well,

we've seen many petroglyphs
that have spirals in it

across the globe

that has been interpreted
as-as portals to somewhere.

We don't know, but, uh,
I find it really interesting

that there's a stone spiral.

And then we find these
strange anomalies in that...

I mean, same location.

MATTY: You know, it's funny,

in the treasure hunting world,

they say "'X' marks
the spot," right?

Did the Native Americans give
you an "X" for the portal spot?

BRYANT: When
we first saw this area,

we didn't know
what to make of it.

But we've had
multiple individuals,

both Native Americans

and other experts,
that are, you know...

that's their field, is to look
at these types of features.

And whether they
agree completely

on exactly what it
is and what it means,

all of them have said

it was absolutely an
area of significance.

And so we really have to
wonder if truly that's connected

to what we're seeing elsewhere.

You know, there's a lot of
hot spots on this property

where we've had things happen,
say here at the homestead,

say out in the south,
so on and so forth.

But we knew that there
was strange things happening

over in that east field area.

I think it's almost
more implausible

to call it coincidence
than-than not.

It would be one
thing if this drone

made that flight
path and one time

- it maybe lost satellite connection.
- Right.

But it has been repeated
over and over and over again.

Almost each and every time

that we make that
flight with that drone,

in that exact same spot...

they lose
connectivity to the drone,

and Erik's GPS tracker shows
a hole in the GPS data there.

It makes no sense at all.

TRAVIS: In retrospect,

when we looked at the
high-speed camera at the same time,

there was some sort of
UAP phenomena flying in.

And at the same time,
this drone is losing its mind

at the photogrammetry anomaly.

So one of these strange
occurrences happening

maybe on its own

would be, okay, anomalous,

but as Travis just described,

everything at once,

almost intelligently, uh,

what can you make of that?

TRAVIS: Well,

the way I see it is, uh,

fortune favors the bold.

- True.
- And this could be

one of the greatest
discoveries ever made

if we ever figure out
what in the heck it is.

[sighs] It's a lot to process,

but I want to talk
about what these results

might be truly revealing and
where they might be taking you.

And I'd like to do that
when we come back.

- Okay. Sounds good.
- ERIK: Sounds good. -Yeah.

's recent experiment

between the triangle
and the east field

revealed monumental evidence

that this team may be dealing
with something more profound

than anyone ever knew.

With that in mind, team, I
want to go back to this notion

of a potential
intelligent entity

reacting to you
here on the ranch.

THOMAS: Well,
look, I'll throw back

to the very first meeting

that took place in
Brandon's office,

- when Travis, you know...
- [chuckles]

looked at me
incredulously and said,

"Thomas, you speak as if
the ranch is a living being."

And I've witnessed too many
things out here on the ranch,

things that seem to be
targeted and specific,

to not believe that there's
some type of intelligence

behind this.

And many times,

something will happen.
It could be to a device,

the car, the radio, television,

Internet, whatever,
and, oftentimes,

you'll hear one of us say,

"The ranch did that." You
know, that sounds stupid.

It sounds crazy. But
there's just too many times

that things have happened
that there's no other culprit for it.

THOMAS: We're dealing with
an issue over here... as these stars

are tracking into
the anomaly, they are

disappearing off the
menu of the telescope.

We're not even able

to train the telescope
on the stars,

because as the
stars enter that area,

they are disappearing off
the menu of the telescope.

That's actually crazy.

Are you getting the sense

that this is an intelligent...

being or entity

or-or phenomena
that's reacting to you?

Obviously we can't dismiss
that, because it's a feature

of what we've been calling
our inherited narrative...

that we may be dealing
with what has been termed

a sentient, precognitive,

nonhuman intelligence.

MATTY: We've been
talking this whole time

about experiments

and this "in and out"
experiment, specifically.

Could these experiments

be triggering something
like that, Kaleb?

Uh, it's hard not
to think so, yeah.

We are so focused on trying
to stay on the scientific path,

gathering information,
conducting experiments.

But then we have these
other things happen,

and it's one of the only
things that makes sense,

is that there's some kind
of force or intelligence

or whatever that's behind it.

TRAVIS: Look at that.

The signal is going crazy.

- I don't know what that is.
- [loud static]

[echoing]: What is that?

[echoing]: What the heck?

Why is that picking us up?

TRAVIS: Uh, it's
picking us all up.

Maybe it's in here.

[static continues]

The signal stopped.

What have we played with?

What just happened?

That's a lot. Travis, could
this in and out experiment

have led you to some
kind of a portal or doorway?

And if so,

it begs the question,
a doorway to what?

Well, we have no idea what
the doorway would be to.

Is it to elsewhere? Else-when?

It's-it's a doorway.
So it's go...

You go through it
from here to there.

Wherever there is
or whatever there is

or whenever there is

is, uh... that's what
we got to find out.

- I'd be the first one through the door.
- MATTY: Would you?

- Well, we'll be fighting over that, buddy.
- BRYANT: Yeah.

it goes or what it is?

Another dimension?
Another time? Another space?

I've been banned from
going through any portals.

mythologies and religions,

uh, all talk about portals
opening to the heavens

and the sky gods
traveling to and from.

Is that our spirit
going to heaven?

Or is that truly
a transportation

from here to there?

some aspect of that,
we've got to know.

and this season
has been intense.
