01x02 - Space Pirates!/Rooney on the Run

Post by bunniefuu »

[Music]

Thank you all for coming today. I, Larry

the Cucumber, will fly through space and

place the house's flag on the moon.

Any questions? Will it be awesome? It

will indeed be awesome.

Can I come too?

Uh, maybe next time. Now, if you'll

excuse me.

Larry, hang on just one second. Madam

Blueberry is baking a pie on the space

station and needs a cup of sugar. Can

you make a stop? Yeah, I guess.

[Music]

What am I going to say is the first

veggie on the moon? How about that's one

small step for veggie? No, no, no.

Something something people are going to

remember. I got it. I'll say mooney

mooney moon. Yeah, classy boy. Oh, no.

I got a

[Music]

[Music]

piece. Now I know what a pinball feels

like.

Madam B, you got my message from Ba. I'm

dropping off a cup of sugar. Oh, thank

you. I'm baking a pie so big it could

only be baked in space. That's neat. I

got to run. And where are you off to in

such a hurry? I got to place a flag on

the moon. See you. Bye-bye. But I must

warn you, Larry. I've seen reports of

space pirates out there. Do be careful.

Space pirates? Ha. If space pirates

attack me, I'll attack them right back.

You know, Larry, when someone hurts you,

you shouldn't hurt them back. Anything

else? Well, since you're here, let's

sing our favorite song. Oh, all right.

One

song. We're floating. We're floating

with no gravity. It's like floating in

the ocean. Down is up and up is down.

The ground is the sky and the sky is the

ground. In a place called outer space,

we're floating. We're floating. We're

floating around. We're gliding through

the air in slow mo. We spin and we twist

and we tuck and we roll. It's easy to

juggle almost anything such as pies and

chairs and a dozen sardines. If I spill

my milk, I really don't care. I just

drink it down cuz it floats in the air.

We can stand on the ceiling. And that's

not all. When we go to bed, we can sleep

on the wall. We're floating. We're

floating. We're floating with no

gravity. It's like floating in the

ocean. Down is up and up is down. The

ground is the sky and the sky is the

ground in a place called outer space.

We're floating. We're floating. We're

floating

around. Prepare landing

sequence. Easy.

Easy,

easy. A perfect

landing. A perfect landing. Let's do

this. I place this flag on the moon in

the name of the

space pirates. Yes, space pirates are

here to steal the moon from you. How'd

you know I was coming here? We heard

about it on the news. Come on. Just

because we're pirates doesn't mean we're

uninformed.

Well, you're going to have a hard time

taking the moon from me when I have this

[Music]

fire cannon.

Yes. Destructive and delicious. Fire.

Fire.

[Music]

Fire. So, this is how it's going to be,

huh? This should give M potato a taste

of his own

[Music]

medicine. The moon is

mine. What's this? Welcome to the moon.

Please accept this welcoming moon gift

signed the moon. Well, wasn't that

thoughtful?

He's going to open that box and then

splat pie to the face.

Oh, is that a penny? Nope. Just part of

the moon.

All I got to do is plant my flag first.

But where did I put it? There it is.

Now, how did you get all the way over

here on the ground in a suspicious

trap-like

[Music]

manner? At least there's no

pie. Thanks for the moon. Oh, no you

don't. I'm claiming the moon in the name

of the house. Oh, you are? Oh, that's

wonderful. Please go right ahead.

Really?

Okay. Hey, wait a second. Is this a

trick? No, no, no, no, no. Please have

the moon. Why? What'd you do? Nothing.

Place your flag. No. Come on. If I do, a

pie's going to hit me or something. Oh,

don't be so paranoid. Then you do it.

You want me to place my flag? Yes. Put

your flag down right there. right now.

This instant. I insist. You insist. I

insist.

Well, if you

insist. Welcome to Moon Tato. The moon

is mine. The moon is mine.

What's this? It's a book of old tricks,

Larry. And the one you just fell for is

on page one. You fell for the oldest

trick in the book.

You brought a book to the moon just to

make that joke and to read it in my

downtime. Radishes, dispose of this moon

[Music]

intruder. Too many pies. Too many

pies. If only I had a giant pie to

defeat them.

Madam B has a giant pie.

[Music]

And that is how one takes over the

moon. Good thing Madam B was baking a

giant pie. That's the perfect solution.

I'll send that thing right over and

splat. Pie over everyone. If these guys

want to throw pies, I'll throw the

biggest pie of all.

[Music]

Madam B. Yes, Larry. I'm in the engine

room. How's the moon? Terrible. Is your

giant pie done? Why, yes, it is. And

it's all ready to eat.

Perfect. Launch pie. What are you doing?

Covering space pirates in a giant pie.

No.

[Music]

Loris the Cucumber, what have you done?

Getting the pirates back at their own

game. I didn't know what else to do.

Larry, this is not how we solve

conflicts. Romans 12:17 tells us, "Don't

repay anyone evil for evil." Even though

M potato hurt you, it doesn't mean it's

okay to hurt him back. You're right. I

blew it. Maybe it's not too late. Maybe

we can stop the pie. Yeah, maybe we

should stop it and give them the pie to

eat. To eat. Oh, what a kind gesture,

Larry. Now, grab a jetpack and let's

stop that giant

[Music]

pie. We got to slow it

down. Ready.

This thing's moving faster than I

thought.

What do we do now? I have an idea.

Follow

me. Let's try that again, but this time

with our jetpack set to turbo mode.

These things have turbo mode.

3 2 1.

[Music]

Prepare to fire.

Hey, it looks like it's slowing down.

[Applause]

We brought pie for all. It looks

delicious.

No, no, stop eating that pie. Just try

it. It's really good.

Oh, that is good.

I changed my mind. You can have the

moon. I claim this pie. It's all yours,

Mot.

Thanks for setting me straight, Madam B.

You're welcome, Larry. Now, if you'll

excuse me, I place this flag on the moon

in the name of the house.

[Music]

[Music]

Huh? Who could that be?

Hello.

[Music]

Who is it, honey?

It's a bunch of slippers. Mom, excuse

me.

It's Rooney.

Rooney, come here, boy.

[Music]

Hey, Lara. Lara. Oh, thank goodness

you're home. He's gone haywire. He's

chewing up all my slippers and then he

buries them all over the place. He

thinks it'll grow into a slipper tree.

Don't you, boy? Slipper tree? That's

preposterous. Laura, I need you to train

him. I'm going to have to wear boots to

bed tonight. Mom, may I help him,

please? Oh, please, please, please,

please, please, please, please, please,

please, please, please, please, please,

please. Don't forget about our dinner

party tonight. I just sent out the

invitations. Oh, yeah. I definitely

don't want to miss that. I can do both.

As long as you can be ready to go by

tonight, it's fine by me. Oh, thank you.

Thank you. Thank you. Thank you. Thank

you. Thank you. Thank you. Thank you.

Thank you. Thank you. like you.

He's all yours.

So, how are you planning on training

him? I wrote the book on dog training.

I'm sure you did, sweetheart. No, I

really did. Obedience for dogs by Laura

Carrot. Huh. It's all the lessons a dog

needs. And look, I packed it full of dog

bones as rewards.

Well, I hope you two have a lot of fun.

Oh, one thing though. Keep this door

closed. Fine. If you leave it open,

Rooney might get out. He might get lost.

And then you'll miss the party. Well, I

don't want that. Consider the door

closed.

All right, Ro. Today, we're going to

learn heal, fetch, and

shale. Meow. Meow.

mail. It's invites to the carrots dinner

party tonight, Bob. Oh, fun. Hey, wait a

minute. It says here you're going with

some guy named Lawrence. Larry? Lawrence

is you. You are Lawrence. Lawrence is

long for Larry. Okay, then. What's all

this about this Robert fella? Who's he?

He's me. He's me. Not you. If not you,

then who? Me? You? Me? Robert is long

for Bob.

I'm not buying it.

Now, when I say heal, your job is to

come and walk beside me. Ready? Heal.

Heal,

[Music]

boy. No, no, no. Listen

carefully. When I say heel, you appear

here behind my heels. Ready, boy?

Heal, heal, heal,

heal. This is going to be harder than I

thought. Maybe I'll get a new chapter

out of it. How

about

stay? That's the oppos.

[Applause]

[Music]

Good boy. You

obeyed. What about fetch?

Mom said to leave the door closed, but

you can't fetch inside the house. I'll

just open it for just this lesson. Stay.

Remember? Stay. Stay right here as I

open the door.

Rooney. Rooney. Where did you

go? Ro,

[Music]

[Applause]

now we'll go over the manners required

at a proper dinner party. Sure thing,

Robert. If that is your real name. When

we arrive, we will greet the hostess

with a bow. Greet with a bow. And why do

we bow? To find stuff we lost. Thought

that was gone for sure. Look, I found

lenolium. Let's move

on. When it's time to eat, we start with

the silverware farthest from the plate.

Silverware. Hands are nature's

silverware. You can't eat with your

hands at parties where people call you

Lawrence. Got it. Silverware it is.

Okay, pop quiz. What should you do if

you don't like one of the foods you've

been served?

probably what I always do, which is

smile, say thank you, and hide it behind

the couch.

[Music]

He's got to be around here somewhere.

Bill, have you Hey, Laura. Can't wait

for the dinner party tonight. What do

you think? Does this tie make me look

bloated?

Uh, no. But have you seen Rooney? I've

seen Rooney. You have? Yes. But for the

dinner party tonight, should I go with

this hat or this hat?

They look exactly the same.

Good point. I'll wear both.

Now, where did you see Ro? I saw him

running right out the back door of the

house. Rooney. Rooney. Ro.

[Music]

Now, at fancy dinner parties, there's a

certain dress code one must follow. Way

ahead of you.

No, that's not right. But you do need a

specific kind of hat and glasses like

this.

No. How are you doing that so

fast? Anyway, I'm talking about the

classiest combo one can

wear. The top hat and monle. The top hat

and monle. I thought only people invited

to classy dinner parties got to wear top

hats and monles. Yeah, classy dinner

parties like the one we're invited to.

The time has

[Music]

come. How do I look? It's missing one

small thing. My transformation is

complete. That was the classiest fall

I've ever taken.

[Music]

Oh, I'm going to be late for the

party. Why didn't he stay when I said

stay? And why didn't I leave the door

closed like my mom asked? I should have

done what she asked me to do.

[Music]

Rooney. Rooney,

you're okay. Did he just chase you up

here, too?

[Music]

We're both going to do a lot better

trying to obey. You know why?

[Music]

Oh. Oh.

Obedience. Oh. Oh. O videos. The awesome

way is to trust and obey.

Odious calling all sons, calling all

daughters to trust and obey your mothers

and fathers. They only want what's best

for you. Keeping you safe with a love

that's true. Oh

obience. Oh obience. The Lord wants kids

to shine their light and choose to do

the thing that's right. Obey his

commands and do it with joy. Obedience

makes great girls and boys. Oh. Choose

right over wrong. Oh. Stand first. Stay

strong. Oh.

Obedience. Oh. Obedience. The awesome

way is to trust and oy. Oh.

So, are you ready to obey Rooney?

Good. Ready.

Heal. Good boy. Good listening.

We just have to figure out how to

Okay, this one's

important. Remember

[Music]

I'm so proud of you, boy. Come on. We're

almost there. Hey, I almost forgot. This

is yours.

[Music]

Slipper tree. Eh. Um, grow. Make

slippers. Rudy.

[Music]

Jump. Sit, boy. Sit.

Wow, you really listened. Hey, terrific

work, Laura. Thanks,

welcome,

Mom. Oh, there you are, Laura.

Mom, I left the door open and Rooney got

out, but I got him back. I'm sorry, Mom.

It's okay, sweetie. But I hope you

understand why I asked you to leave the

door closed. I do, Mom. You know what's

best. Now, run and get cleaned up.

Party's about to start. Yay.

Good evening, Carol. Let's get fancy.

It's so nice to see you all. Please come

in.

Good evening, Carol.

Lawrence, how good to see you. And you,

fair lady.

[Music]

That'll do, buddy. Hey, did anyone lose

a cheese grater?

Take any seat you like.

[Music]

Are Robert and Lawrence here yet?
