the city.

[Music]

Good night store. Hey P, what's the big

idea? You closing early today? Yep. Once

a year I close up shop for employee fun

day. What's an employee funday? I spend

the day doing fun activities with my

staff. Well, how do you make money doing

that? It's not about money. It's a way

to show the folks I work with that I

appreciate them. Employee fun day, huh?

Sounds good. I think I'll do it, too.

We'll go golfing and listen to old jazz

music. They'll love it.

Well, burger coming at you. Becka Cheese

and Onions Combo slam. Have an icorrific

day.

Stop working. You're all done for the

day. Did you sell the business? No. Is

it the health inspectors again? No. I've

decided to have an employee funday. You

ever heard of that? Like a day off?

Yeah. I'm taking you all out for a good

time. Wowee. I got the train ready to

go. Come on.

Um. Uh. Well, who will be serving us

burgers if you have no employees? Oh,

yeah. Almost forgot. Terret bots, come

in. We will provide services. Please

clearly dictate your desired sustenance

or say more options. Um, more options.

What was that? Please try again. More.

What was that? Please try again. Was

that again? Again. Things are running

smoothly already.

Wow. Are you taking us swimming? Oh. Oh.

Do we get to go on the water slide? No.

No. Even better.

Wow. bowling and picnicking and hang

gliding. Oh, you shouldn't have. I

didn't. Stop trying to guess. We're

almost there. It kind of looks like all

the fun stuff was back that way. Yeah,

if that's your definition of fun. It is.

No, it's not. It is. No, it is.

Here we are. Let the fun begin.

Where's all the fun stuff? Right here.

Golf. Yeah. Isn't that fun? Jimmy, you

go set up these flags. Tina and Bob can

be ball retrievers. And Larry, you're my

caddy.

Bar. Well, go get it.

[Music]

So, when's the fun part of employee fun

day? This is the very definition of fun.

Car. Oh, yeah.

This is miserable. I'd rather be at

work. I don't know if I can do this all

day. Hey, you whisperers, wait till you

see what's next. All aboard Icabzer's

Funtime Express.

Maybe the next thing will be hang

gliding. No, I do not want ice in my

hamburger. Extra ice and hamburger.

Also, I'd like a large French fry. One

large French fry. Yes. Thank you.

Next customer, please.

Just remember the loud noise means you

found something. This isn't hang

gliding.

Already found something, Bob. No, it's

just I'm not really into this. This

seems more like something you would

enjoy. Well, speak for yourself, Bob.

There isn't a soul on this earth who

doesn't enjoy detecting metal. We don't

like it.

We appreciate that you're trying to give

us the day off, but Okay. Okay. Not

everyone is a metal detecting fanatic

like me. Now, what I have next, we'll be

sure to knock your socks off. Employees

of Ika Burger. Your wonderful and

generous employer has hired the greatest

entertainer in the solar system. Never

before have you witnessed such talent as

you will tonight.

Hey, this might be cool. Yeah, a real

show. And now I give you your boss,

Izzer.

Oh man. Thank you. Thank you, ladies and

gentlemen. I call this one Get back off

my lawn,

[Music]

Jack. Oh, not digging that either, huh?

Okay. How about Opera? Oh, I like opera.

Figaro.

I no longer like opera. Okay, juggling.

[Music]

Wow, what a tough room. Fine, I'll I'll

do some standup comedy. Everyone loves a

joke. I wrote these just for this event.

If you don't laugh, you're fired. That

was one of the jokes, folks.

Good. See, guess who is having the worst

day ever? you. Yeah, that was a joke,

too. It's fun day. Come on. You guys are

having the time of your lives. But we're

not. It was actually kind of true.

Okay, fine. It's the end of the show.

Thank you everybody for coming to Burger

Employee Monday. That's all for now.

Keep making those burgers. Stop with the

music. I give you the day off. put all

this together for you and you don't even

appreciate it. We appreciate the idea of

it. We know you meant well. It's just

everything was sort of your thing. Not

really our thing. Yeah, it was nice of

you. It just wasn't fun for us.

My employee funday wasn't good enough

for you, huh? Well, if that's how you

feel, I guess maybe you should work

somewhere else. I want employees who

know how to have a fun time.

[Music]

[Music]

I asked it to hold the mayo and now it

won't do anything else. Holding.

Holding. Holding. Sorry everybody. We're

closed. I'm having employee funday with

my real friends, the robots. Are you

going to get your other employees back?

I like that burger making thing they do.

Yeah, and how they don't have blank

robotic stairs. These are the only

employees I need. And we are going to

have some real fun.

[Music]

Detecting. Detecting. Detecting.

Detecting. Cheering. Cheering. Cheering.

Cheering.

Thank you. Thank you. What's this? This

is my employee fun day with robots. What

happened to your staff? My staff? Oh,

them. Well, they didn't know how to have

any fun, so I let them go. Are robots

actually able to have fun?

No. But you were cheering. We are

programmed to do whatever you tell us.

But did you feel appreciated? Negative.

All of the activities were constructed

to please you. Our perception was that

you appreciate yourself, not us. Carrot

butts, play me something catchy.

In Luke, it says, "As you wish that

others would do to you, do so to them. I

appreciate

you. I appreciate

you. Please know this. You're at the top

of my list. That's how high I rate you.

I'm thankful for you, my friend, and all

the things you do for me."

And I want to show you the same loving

kindness and hope that you can see

that I appreciate you.

Here's my gratitude

for your great

attitude. I'm hoping to be what you are

to me. That's why I'm here to thank you.

I appreciate I appreciate I appreciate

you.

I I made employee fun day all about my

own idea of fun. Why? I didn't even

think about what they might enjoy. And

do you really want robots for employees?

Requesting permission to stop holding

the mayo. No way. Bob, Larry, Tina, and

Jimmy are not just my employees. They're

my friends, and they are each unique.

Why? No robot could ever replace that.

Oh, no offense. None taken. Herodbots, I

have a new mission for you. Find my

employees and bring them to the

waterfront in oh half an hour. I'm going

to do employee fun day right this time.

Sir. Yes, sir.

[Music]

Attezer's robots. Come with us.

Mr. requires your presence.

Woohoo! Water

slide!

Swimming! Rolling!

I'm driving!

[Music]

This is the most fun I've ever had in

one day. You said it. Izzer outdid

himself.

Where is Dometer anyway? Yeah, we need a

tank.

[Music]

[Music]

Hello. Think, Archabon. Think. It's

almost election season and you need to

do something for the citizens to

convince them to vote for you again. But

what? I could put on a free concert for

everyone to enjoy. Oh, but who could I

get to

play?

Huh? That voice, that strumming, that

cool I can play guitar attitude. Bill,

have you ever considered performing for

a large crowd? Every hour of every day.

Perfect. Because I see myself up there

on the stage crowd chanting my name.

Bacon Bill. Bacon Bill. But instead, I

just sit here in the grass while

squirrels drop acorns on my head. Well,

I think we can mutually solve both our

problems. Really? I want to put on a

show to help elect me mayor again. You

think I'm a good mayor? Yes. Oh, yeah.

Perfect. This concert will surely get me

the votes I need and get you the crowd

you desire. Count me in. Here are the

numbers for a few musicians. Where do

you normally rehearse? Um, in my

apartment. Just run through your songs a

few times with them, and I'll see you

tomorrow night for your band's big

debut.

And a one and a two. And a one, two,

three, four.

Can we pick up the volume a little bit,

guys? Having a hard time reaching my

strings. Can't bang drama. Your bottom

appears to be stuffed in the amplifier.

This place is way too small to practice.

We can't let the mayor down. We got to

find a bigger place. Will that work?

That's for sale. Convenient.

[Music]

Perfect. Well, this is it.

What do you think? Oh, yeah. This should

work great. Do you want to know about

the utilities? No. School zones? Nope.

Rent? Is this enough? Well, that should

cover it. You want to know what the best

thing about this neighborhood is?

Everyone is very neighborly. In fact,

our neighborhood motto is First

Corinthians 10:24. Be concerned about

others and not just about yourself.

Perfect.

[Music]

Oh. Oh. Consider it fun. This place is

great.

[Music]

Speechless. I'll bring more keyboards

next time. Crack it.

[Music]

Larry, you're dreaming too

loud. That's not Larry.

Wait, wait, hold. Jerry, stop playing.

You're

off. Off. No drums. And where's that

door? Oh,

hi. I'm Bob. I'm Larry. Uh, we're your

neighbors. I know. I've been on the show

for 3 years. Listen, we've seen the

posters all over town for your show

tomorrow night. We're super excited. We

sure are. But uh could you maybe try to

keep it down a bit? Oh yeah. I'm sorry

guys. We didn't mean to disturb you. I'm

not used to practicing with a whole

band. You sound great. We can't wait to

see the show. Thanks. We'll keep it

down. I promise.

Installation.

That took forever, but it gave me time

to get a few more keyboards. We got to

get to practicing so we can sound our

best tomorrow. Might need to make it a

late one. Let's rock. And a one. And a

two. And a one, two, three,

[Music]

four. Oh, sounding way better, guys.

Nothing a little more rehearsing can't

fix.

[Music]

Innocent.

[Music]

What is going on in here? Bill, it's

still really loud. I put up pillows.

Pillows? Oh, guys, I'm so sorry. I

thought for sure you wouldn't be able to

hear us. Let me tell you, I can hear

you. I just don't want to let the mayor

down at tomorrow's concert.

Super excited.

It's going to be great.

Don't worry, it won't happen again.

We'll keep it down. Right, guys? Keeping

it down. Down with that. Thank you for

your consideration.

[Music]

We need more

[Music]

pillows there. That ought to do it. We

can practice, have a great concert, and

still be considerate of my neighbors.

Win. That's right, Jerry. Okay, guys.

And a one and a two. And one, three,

four. Oh. Oh. Don't always think of

yourself. It's lots of fun to be the one

serving someone. Just terrible. This

stinks. Lose, lose, lose. Well, Mayor

Archabald is counting on us. If we sound

like this tomorrow night, he's going to

become not Mayor Archerald. So, what do

we do, Bill? We're going to

rock. All right, guys. The neighbors

aren't going to be happy about this, but

we can't let Archie down. And a one. And

a two. And a one. Two, three,

[Music]

four. Check. Check. One, two. Check.

One, two. I think we're ready here.

Wonderful. This is just what this town

needs. Let the crowd in.

No one's here except crickets. Is this a

concert for crickets? Is this a concert

for crickets? Where is everyone? Where

are the crowds? I put posters up

everywhere and everyone was so excited.

Everybody was excited until they kept

the whole block up last night. So

inconsiderate. Oh, I'm going back to

bed. What? Oh, we were just trying to

put on a good show for the town. I

didn't want to let you down, mayor. Did

I let you down? My reelection is doomed.

I'm the candidate with the inconsiderate

anthem.

[Laughter]

Went down. This is terrible, guys. We

got to fix this. We got to make it

right. So, what do you suggest,

Bill? I know just the thing. I hope this

works. Are you guys ready?

Not you guys. Are you going to keep us

up again? Yeah. Don't keep us up again.

I am super duper sorry about last night.

I was more concerned about myself than I

was about you getting a good night's

sleep. I was being inconsiderate and I

apologize. I hope you'll forgive me.

Well, that depends. You're going to let

us sleep tonight? We sure are. And not

only that, but we've come up with a

solution to help you sleep. May we?

Well, and then you'll never have to hear

from us again. So, how about it? I'd

like to

[Music]

hear. I'm happy and I'm feeling

fine. When I let others go first in

line, I remind myself how great it is to

lend a helping hand to little kids.

Oh. Oh, consider it fun when you choose

to be the considerate one. Oh. Oh. Don't

always think of yourself. It's lots of

fun to be the one serving someone else.

It's lots of fun to be the one

serving else.

Well guys, it was a good ride. Nice

making music with you, Frank. It happens

to all the best bands sooner or later.

We understand, Bill. Good

night. Good night.

[Music]

Bill, that lullabi was amazing. I

haven't slept that well in a long time.

You guys are a really good band. What

else you got? Well, we kind of broke up.

What? You can't do that. The mayor still

needs your help. But I don't know how we

can practice and not disturb people.

Well, that's very considerate of you.

Why don't you just play during the

daytime?

[Music]

Oh. Oh. You consider it fun. I'm happy

and I'm feeling fine. When I let others

go first in a line, I remind myself how

great it is to lend a helping hand to

little kids. I say, "Oh, oh, consider it

fun." When you choose to be the

considerate one, oh, don't always think

of yourself. It's lots of fun to be the

one serving someone else. It's great to

make people smile. When asked to go a

block, I go an extra mile. Doing more

than expected without being asked. Hey,

putting others first is such a blast.

Any mayor who puts on a concert this

rocking deserves my vote. You got that

right. I'm voting for Mayor Roold.

Oh yes. Consider it fun when you choose

to be the considerate one. Oh. Oh. Don't

always think of yourself. It's lots of

fun to be the one serving someone else.

Oh, oh, consider it fun. Oh, oh, oh.

Consider it fun. Oh, oh, consider it fun

when you choose to be the considerate

one. Remember kids, God made you special

and he loves you very much.

[Music]

They're unforgettable. They are

incredible.
