01x13 - The Menace of Dr. Millennium / The Rock Men / Birdman Versus Dr. Freezoid

Birdman!

Birdman!

The world laughed at me and
my millennium machine,

but soon they shall pay!

The last laugh is mine!

It's working!

Hush, my pet. Hush!

I have revived you to serve
me, Dr. Millennium.

I have brought you from the
past to enrich my future.

This is it, gentlemen.
The Cobalt 14 m*ssile.

For security reasons,

we have only one set of plans

and one working model.

They must not fall
into the wrong hands.

What the deuce?

Oh, no, you don't!

Outside!

Don't let anything
happen to the m*ssile!

Great Scott!

Fire! Drive him back!

The m*ssile!

He's destroying it!

That's our only model!

A call from Inter-Nation
Security, Avenger.

Falcon 7 here, Birdman.

There is big trouble in
Section 26, Fort Sherman.

Report of a prehistoric mammoth

and a club-swinging caveman

making off with top-secret plans.

Can you investigate?

Affirmative, Falcon 7.

I'm on my way.

Birdman!

Captain, look out!

One down, one to go.

A blast of solar light
should hold you a while.

Hurry, Captain, before he attacks again.

Look out!

Oh-h*! This calls for a thermo-beam.

I don't know where you
came from, big fellow,

but I'm sending you back...

Birdman, wake up!
Are you all right?

He just stunned me, Captain.

So, they escaped.
We've got to lure them back.

Success! The plans are mine,
and the m*ssile is destroyed.

And now, to return you to the past.

I must hear the news of my triumph.

Fort Sherman will be in an uproar.

From Fort Sherman.

Although the Cobalt-14
m*ssile was destroyed,

authorities report that
a second model exists,

and work will continue.

What? Another model?

It must be destroyed!

I hope this works, Birdman.

Whoever controls those
prehistoric creatures

wants complete possession
of the m*ssile, General.

If he thinks there is another model,
he's sure to try to destroy it.

A giant flying lizard from
a million years in the past.

He took the bait.

Now, to find out who's
behind this sabotage.

He's landing on that museum.

That must be...

Uh-oh. He spotted me.

That got him.

He's temporarily dazzled
by my solar flash.

He can't see to attack.

Something's wrong.

He's going to crash into the museum.

Got to stop him.

Great Scott! A ray turned the
pterodactyl to a skeleton.

It came from that museum.

So, Birdman, you dare defy
the will of Dr. Millennium?

That's right.

Now hand over those plans.

Who is to make me, Birdman?

You?

Not likely.

You reckoned without my thermo beam.

My hand!

The game's up, Millennium.

Never. You'll never take me.

Birdman, we found the
plans in the next room.

But who's behind all this?

He's in that room with two of
his henchmen from the past.

That's it, Birdman.

Where are they?

He used his aging machine

to return the caveman and
the mummy to the past.

And as for Dr. Millennium,
he must have joined them.

All that's left of him are his glasses.

And that little pile of dust.

He did that to himself?

He's still living, Captain.

But somewhere a
million years in the past.

This must be some machine.

Captain, look out!

Stand back!

Millennium set his machine
on self-destruct.

Now we'll never know how it worked.

Well, we got the m*ssile
plans back anyway.

And as for the machine,

at least Dr. Millennium
can never use it again,

wherever he is.

Ekon calling home base Gamma Red.

Plutonium geologic survey Alpha

now approaching unmarked
planet in vector U-16.

Probe instruments report
unusual rock formations.

I am landing to examine.

First report geologic survey Alpha.

Planet appears uninhabited.

Wait, I saw a movement.

It must be a cosmic hallucination.

It is shaped like a humanoid,
but it is at least 35 feet high,

with enormous legs and arms,
and it seems menacing.

Yet how can it exist?

It is but rock.

I must try to communicate
with the creature.

No! No!

Ekon?

I never heard of him, Vapor Man.

I think he's from Pluto.
Right, Meteor Man?

Right.

Supposed to be one of their
most brilliant scientists.

He was last heard of
from the planet Zordak.

Look, a spaceship.

That's got to be Ekon's ship.

Ekon's nowhere around his spaceship.

How about taking a look inside?

Nothing in here.

I'm not so sure.

Look, Ekon's recording machine.

Yes, it'll give us a clue.

We'll soon find out.

It is shaped like a humanoid,
but it is at least 35 feet high,

with enormous legs and arms,
and it seems menacing.

I must try to communicate.

If that scientist is still on
this weird-looking planet...

He is still here, Galaxy Trio!

The Plutonian scientist Ekon
is the prisoner of Brayton.

I, Brayton, intend making
good use of his knowledge.

Look to your right, Galaxy Trio.

Watch your own destruction approaching.

I see it, but I don't believe it.

Now, look to your left.

What awful monsters.

Their first orders are to destroy
all three of you and your ship.

That one's going for our spaceship.

I'll stop him.

Right, Gravity Girl.

Vapor Man, you take
the one on the left.

I'll take the one
coming from the right.

I'm on my way, Meteor Man.

I've got to stop him before
he can destroy our ship.

The Rock Man can resist
my gravitational pull.

Let's see if he can
resist that boulder.

Never mind the ship!

After Vapor Man and Meteor Man!

Gravity Girl, try to rescue
Ekon from that balcony

while we keep these things occupied.

Right.

You see, Ekon. No one,
not even the Galaxy Trio,

can stand against
Brayton and his Rock Men.

It's Gravity Girl, and she has Ekon.

Destroy her!

Thanks, Vapor Man.

And now, Ekon, to get you
safely back to our spaceship.

I've got to use all my force.

If that creature ever gets me,

it's going to be a battle to get loose.

One of my creatures
has been destroyed.

But I shall still conquer you,
Galaxy Trio!

No kind of gas will work
against this monster.

It doesn't breathe.

But let's see how it
does against heat.

Only one thing will work
against these monsters.

Alternate blasts of heat
and cold could crack them.

No! Stop!

It's over, Ekon.

Yes. Thanks to the Galaxy Trio.

You can leave me here now.

I just want to pick up
some rock samples and...

ALL: Oh, no.

We'll pick up the samples...

...and deliver them to you.

I know that scientists are important

but they sure can be a
lot of trouble sometimes.

FEAR, the most evil power on earth,

is now the most powerful.

They have mastered the elements.

Watch. That mysterious freeze ray

is able to create an ice
glacier wherever it points.

Unless they're stopped,

the entire world could be turned
into a glacier wasteland.

They'll be stopped, Falcon 7.

Any idea where their base is located?

Yes, it's near the...

Too late.

Birdman, this is Dr. Freezoid of FEAR.

Do not interfere or you
shall suffer the same fate.

Inter-Nation Security Center.

That's our destination, Avenger.

The strange craft.

Freezoid's still here.

A secret file of all ISC agents.

With this information,
ISC will be useless.

And FEAR...

unstoppable.

Except for Birdman,
wherever he is.

He's here, Dr. Freezoid.

You're next, Birdman.

I failed to get your secret
files but you are finished.

I'll take care of them later.

Right now, my friends need defrosting.

Birdman, just in time.

Another minute and my body temperature
could never have been restored.

- The freezoids?
- Escaped.

What's your next step?

First a city needs de-icing.
Then the freezoid.

Let's go, Avenger.

Good. The city is saved.

Next stop, the North Pole.

Everything is ice, Avenger.

How do we find their secret base?

I see it now.

But it looks like we
have been seen too.

Birdman has not only
found our secret base,

he's escaped our first defense,
but not our last.

I do hope you'll find our reception
cold and unfriendly, Birdman.

Guided missiles.

No freezoids about.

They must be remote controlled.

My greater heat will
attract them all, Avenger.

We better split up.

Four down. Two to go.

Right on target, Avenger.

One left.

The solar shield, my only chance.

And now, for Dr. Freezoid himself.

Avenger, attack.

Again, he escaped.

But this will stop him.

The icy arctic should
cool you off, Birdman.

That ray of sunlight is being
magnified by the ice.

Again, the sun has saved my life.

Escaping out of that wall of ice
sapped most of my energy, Avenger.

I must re-energize before I can destroy
Freezoid's underground fortress.

Thank you Ra,
great spirit of the sun.

Now I am ready to conquer any evil.

Birdman!

The sun's rays are causing a glare.

I cannot tell if Birdman's
out there or not.

Freezoid, you're melting.

What? You too?

I thought it was getting warm in here.

That wasn't the sun I saw.

It was Birdman.

i'm getting out of...
Argh!

My getaway sub.
I'll still escape.

It's all over, Dr. Freezoid.

No, no, you'll never take me.

In thirty seconds, my freezoid
generator will over freeze

and my entire base will
become a block of solid ice.

Until it expands and explodes.

So you see Birdman, we both failed.

Not both, Dr. Freezoid.
Just you.

Birdman!

Falcon 7, are you receiving?

Everything, Birdman.

Assignment completed and thanks.

Birdman!

Birdman!
