to the Royal Knighting Ceremony,

Each time you perform
an act of knighthood,

one of the kitties gets colored in.

Do you know what this means?

If we can fill in our shields,
we can be knighted by the king and queen.

Someone locked King Catnip in the tower!

I, King Catnip,
have been trapped up here in this tower!

Gabby the Bold and Pandy the Purr-owd,
thank goodness you're here.

What's going on, Queen Kitty Fairy?

King Catnip is locked in the high tower,
and someone has taken the key.

Without that key,
he'll be trapped in there forever!

Not to worry, Queen Kitty Fairy.
We are brave knights-in-training.

We'll figure out
a way to free King Catnip.

I certainly hope so,
because if we can't free the king,

we'll have to cancel
the Royal Knighting Ceremony.

Hmm. There's got to be a way
to figure this out.

Maybe MerCat the Magical
has a potion that could help us.

That's a great idea!

MerCat has all kinds of potions.

I'm sure she'll have something
to unlock that tower door.

I knew I could count on you two.

I'll go tell King Catnip the good news.

So, Gabby the Bold and Pandy the Purr-owd
think they can rescue the king, eh?

Well, not if I can help it.

You know, I'm a knight-in-training too.

I guess they think old CatRat's
not good enough to be a real knight.

Well, with King Catnip locked up,

there won't be any ceremony.

We need the bridge to cross this moat.

I don't know... yet.

Maybe there's another way
to cross the moat.

If we had something long and skinny,

we could pole-vault
over to the other side of the moat.

Except... we don't have a pole.

Let's look for something long
and skinny we can use instead.

Do you see anything long and skinny?

The pencil.

Yeah, that will work.

[Pandy] Whee!

That was a-meow-zing!

Talk about a purr-fect landing.

-[Hamster Kitties squeak]
-Come on in, Royal Hamster Kitties.

[both gasp] Whoa!

Check it out.

Part of our shield is filling in.

We completed our first act of knighthood.

We overcame an obstacle
when we got over the moat.

This is paw-esome!

Two more knightly acts
and our shields will be all filled in.

They made it over the moat. Rats!

I better go see about MerCat the Magical.

MerCat the Magical, are you in here?

[MerCat] I'm up here.

MerCat, this is no time for a bubble bath.

I'm not taking a bubble bath.

CatRat trapped me
in this super-strong bubble and...

now I can't get out.

Hang on, MerCat.
We're gonna pop this bubble.

Hug attack!

[Pandy grunts]

-[Pandy yells]
-[thud]

Boy, that's one tough bubble.

That's because it's a magic bubble
and can only be popped by magic.

My Bubble-Trouble-Burster Potion
would work,

but to make it, I'm gonna need your help
mixing some potions together.

Fear not, MerCat the Magical.

You tell us which potions to mix together,
and we'll whip it up for you.

Purr-fect!

First, we need some of
the Swizzle-Dizzle Potion.

It's in the red and blue striped bottle.

Will you help me find it?

Great. Where is the bottle
with red and blue stripes?

Yeah! There it is.

Ooh! Excellent.

Now, add five drops
into that empty measuring cup.

[Gabby] One, two, three, four, five.

What's next, MerCat?

We need three drops
of my Power-Popper Potion.

[giggles] It's the blue bottle
with pink polka dots.

I'm on it.

Uh, think you can help me with this one?

And finally, we just need one drop of
the Knock-Knock Unlock Potion. [giggles]

It's on a high shelf.

OK, Gabs!

Put your safety goggles on,
bring it over here,

and give it a good stir.

[Gabby] Here we go.

of our shield is filling in!

We saved MerCat
and performed another act of knighthood,

helping someone in need.

But we still need to rescue King Catnip.

and no one can find the key.

[gasps] Oh, no!

That's why we came to you.

Do you have a potion
that can open a locked door?

You bet your whiskers I do.

That Knock-Knock Unlock Potion
you just used

will unlock any door in a poof!

I'll get it.

Hey, where did it go? It was just here.

Huh? That's strange.

A-ha! Is this the potion
you're looking for?

CatRat, did you lock King Catnip
in the tower?

You're a knight-in-training too, CatRat.

Knights are supposed to do good deeds,
not bad deeds.

I-I guess King Catnip doesn't think
I'm good enough to be a knight.

What? Why do you think that?

Because I didn't get an invitation
to the Royal Knighting Ceremony.

So, with the king locked up,

I guess the ceremony is canceled.

Wait a furry second.

-What's that stuck to your paw, CatRat?
-Huh?

Oh. Huh.

I did kind of lock him in the tower,

and now I've spilled all the potion
to get him out.

What about the key?

Yeah. There's still time
to do the right thing, CatRat.

We just need that key
and we can go save the king.

Uh... [chuckles]

Yeah, about that key...

I don't exactly have it, uh... handy.

What? Where is it?

Well, I didn't want anyone to find it,

so I, uh...

[whistles]

You tossed it out the window?

Yeah.

Oh, no! Look!

-[Floyd purring]
-Floyd the Dragon has the key!

Oh. That's not good.

[groans] MerCat's right.

We'll never get the key now.

I've ruined it for everybody!

CatRat,
you're a knight-in-training, right?

Well, yeah. I'd like to be.

Well, does a knight just give up
when the going gets tough?

No. A knight never gives up.

A knight sees a challenge
and faces it head on.

But how?

A dragon isn't just gonna let
some knights-in-training stroll up

and take the key back.

You're right.

A dragon wouldn't let us
take the key back,

but he might let another dragon
take the key.

You want to find another dragon?

[laughs]

We're not gonna find one,

we're gonna make one.

We can disguise ourselves as a dragon
so we can sneak up and grab the key.

That's a cat-tastic idea!

Do you think Baby Box would help us
make a dragon disguise?

I think she would love to.

Then that's our plan.

[gasps]

an act of knighthood.

King Catnip's trapped in the tower

and the key to save him is in the clutches
of a furr-ocious dragon.

[gasps] How did that happen?

Uh, it's a long story.

We need to make a dragon disguise

so we can sneak up to it
and get the key back.

Say no more.

I can help you make
the best dragon disguise ever.

We'll start with some big boxes
for the body and head,

then add some whiskers,

the eyes,

some cute little horns,

and some big dragon wings.

Ooh! Can't forget the wheels.

And done.

You could all fit inside this disguise
and ride right up to the dragon.

He'll think you're a dragon friend.

It's purr-fect!

Well, then let's get crafting.

♪ We need to get it back

I've ever seen.

on the key and all, but, uh...

can somebody let me out of this tower now?

[laughs] We're coming, King.

It's me, Pandy.

Now that you're a Knight
of the Kitty Cat Castle too...

you need your very own royal shield.

Do you want me to show you
how to make one?

Paw-tastic!

OK.

The first things we need are...

[drumroll]

[fanfare plays]

-...some sturdy cardboard...
-[Hamster Kitty squeaks]

-...some royal tape...
-[Hamster Kitty jabbers]

-...and a bold crayon.
-[Hamster Kitty squeaks]

[Hamster Kitties squeak]

Thank you, Royal Hamster Kitties.

First, we need to make the handle.

Use a strip of cardboard
and tape it down on each side.

There.

Now... use your crayon
to draw your big cat head shield design.

Like this.

On the inside, you make a big,
upside-down V at the bottom

and a line connecting it to the top.

Now you have your three sections.

That's where the Royal Kitties go.

One Royal Kitty, with two eyes,

a nose, and a nice royal smile.

One Royal Kitty in this section.

And one more...

right here.

Huzzah!

Now it's time for my favorite part.

[fanfare plays]

The royal glue!

[Hamster Kitties squeak]

We need to cover
all the crayon lines with glue.

Easy-peasy, glue so squeezy!

[both] Ooh!

[Pandy] Two drops for the eyes,

the royal smile,

and there.

Now we wait for the glue to dry.

It's dry.

So, to make it look totally paw-tastic,
we need...

[fanfare plays]

-...the royal tinfoil...
-[Hamster Kitty squeaks]

-...the majestic markers...
-[Hamster Kitty jabbers]

-...and the royal cotton swab!
-[Hamster Kitty squeaks]

Place the tinfoil over the cardboard
and wrap it around the edges.

Ready to see the royal swab in action?

Watch this.

When you rub around all the glue lines,

the design comes out on the foil.

Pretty cool, huh?

Now, each time you complete
an act of knighthood,

you can color in one of your kitties.
