I've always wanted to dance the Paso Doble. So I'm gonna take a class.

Alma: Granny's a flight attendant.

So she goes to lots of places for work.

Junior: Is the food in Barcelona as good as these waffles?

Granny Isa: You betcha!

Alma: What's your favorite thing to eat there?

Granny Isa: Mmm... that's a real toughie.

I guess when I'm in Spain, I'd never say no to gambas al ajillo.

Junior: Shrimp!

Granny Isa: My job is to help passengers stay comfy and safe on the plane.

So, there's not a lot of time for snacking.

So Granny Isa must be really busy when she's working.

Alma: When Tía Gloria works on the subway, she can't watch me either.

Alma: But, I do love playing subway with her at home.

Alma: Oh, wait!

I can pretend to go to work with you.

Granny Isa: Oh yeah?

Alma: We're gonna turn the house into an airport and an airplane.

So I can be a flight attendant with you.

Granny Isa: Welcome to Granny Isa's Flight Attendant School!

Listen up, it's gonna be fun, but also hard work.

Alma/Junior: We're ready!

Granny Isa: Flight attendants show passengers how to buckle and unbuckle their seatbelts.

Insert the flat end into the buckle and pull on the strap to tighten.

Junior: Got it!

Ah!

Too tight! Too tight!

Ahh.

Alma/Junior: [giggle]

Granny Isa: Flight attendants also tell passengers where all the exits are on a plane.

I like to add a little pizzazz!

[sing-song] Ba-a-ack, middle middle middle, fro-o-nt.

Alma: Front. Back. Middle.

Granny Isa: i¡Wepa!

Flight attendants have to get through small spaces.

[Chacho bark] And not bump into anyone.

Alma: Water, coming through!

Junior: Snacks coming through!

[Chacho bark] Alma: Ah!

[sigh] Phew!

Junior: Me too!

Granny Isa: A flight attendant lets passengers know that things are okay,

even when the flight gets bumpy.

That's what we in the biz call '‘turbulence.'

Alma: [voice shaking] Don't worry, passengers!

[voice shaking] It's just a little turbulence.

Junior: [giggle]

[voice shaking] And it's kinda fun!

Granny Isa: Congratulations!

You're now honorary flight attendants!

Junior: i¡Wepa!

Alma: Ah-may-zing!

Granny Isa: Now let's get to work!

Mami: Oh, I can't wait to get to Barcelona.

Granny Isa: Attention, passengers!

Welcome to Rivera International Airport!

Junior: [Steggie voice] Flight -- to Barcelona is now boarding!

Alma: [Captain Bananas voice] Please have your boarding passes out and ready.

Eddie: Barcelona, here we come!

Tia Gloria: Yes! I'm so excited! Eddie: Here ya go.

Papi: Got my boarding pass!

Mami: Here's my ticket!

Junior: Beep!

Granny Isa: This way through the jet bridge.

Alma: Please watch your step as you get onto the plane.

Mami: Hope the flight is smooth.

I would love to sleep through it.

Papi: Not me. I'm too excited to sleep!

Please find your seats, so we can take off.

Eddie: Where are you sitting, Mami? Tia Gloria: I got the window!

Papi: I hope they have some peanuts. [chuckle] Mami: Am I in the middle?

Uncle Nestor: Espérate!

Did I miss my flight?

Alma: Nope, come on board sir!

Uncle Nestor: Phew! Sí bueno.

[panting] Ah!

What can I say, in addition to being an actor,

I'm also an over-packer.

Alma: [giggle]

Eddie: Excuse me.

Alma: Totally!

She's flying in to visit us for the day.

My mom and dad are taking me to lunch.

Lucas: Nope, my parents are still divorced.

But sometimes we meet up so we can have a family-fun day.

Now for the most important part.

Junior: Ask Granny Isa to marry you!

Papi: Isa, ready to head back to the airport?

But maybe our plan worked?
