Junior/Alma: I scream, you scream, we all scream for ice cream!

Alma: We spent the whoooole morning cleaning the house.

So Mami and Papi are taking us to get ice cream!

Junior: Hmm. Maybe I'll get chocolate.

Alma: Good choice!

Junior: Hold up!

How do cows make chocolate milk for chocolate ice cream?

Papi: [Chuckle] The chocolate is added to the milk after it comes from the cow.

[Phone vibrating] Junior: Ohhhh!

Papi: Bueno. This is Rubén.

It's Animal Control.

Yes.

Junior: Um, excuse me... what's Animal Control?

Mami: They help animals in trouble.

Junior: Okay.

Papi: A what?! Where?

There's a cow in the middle of the street in the Bronx!

Alma: A cow?!

Junior: In the street?!

Mami: In the Bronx?!

Papi: Of course, I'll be right there.

My friends at Animal Control are stuck in traffic.

They want me to help the cow until they get here.

I've got to get a moo-ve on!

Just come with me. I gotcha.

Mami: It'll be her new home.

Alma: Waitaminute... Ms. Moo loves it here!

Why can't we keep her?

Papi: Almita,

the Bronx is not for cows. She'll be happier in the countryside.

I'm gonna text Gloria to bring us water and snacks.

We'll keep Ms. Moo company while she waits, okay?

Alma/Junior: Okay!

Alma: I think Ms. Moo would love to stay here in the Bronx.

Who wouldn't?!

Lucas: Whoa! Is that a cow?!

Alma: Sure is. Lucas, meet Ms. Moo!

Lucas: Hey!

On behalf of all the kids in the Bronx, I would like to thank you for everything you give us.

Lucas: Wait, where's she going?

Junior: My papi says she's going to an animal sanctuary.

Lucas: Noooo. She's gotta stay here!

Alma: She really is.

My papi said that the Bronx isn't for Ms. Moo.

But I say that the Bronx is for all people.

Even people that aren't really people, but cows!

We've got plenty of grass for Ms. Moo to munch on in the park, buuuut...

Lucas: It's the Bronx, we have everything!

Lucas: Mmmm, I don't think they're enough to fit Ms. Moo.

[Truck reverse beeping]

Alma: Oh no! Animal Control is here!

We're almost out of time!

Junior: What do we do now?!

Alma: Umm...

What do we do? I gotta think about this...

Ms. Moo would be so happy living in the Bronx. [Ms. Moo moos]

There's lots of room and grass for her to eat.

But where would she sleep?

[Ms. Moo moos]

What if she slept in my room?

Nah, there wouldn't be enough space for her to be comfy.

I think Ms. Moo would be happier if she had a barn.

But we don't have any of those here.

[Sigh] I know what to do.

Lucas, Junior, we have to say goodbye to Ms. Moo.

Junior: Oh no, why?

Lucas: There's gotta be something we can do.

Alma: We just don't have enough room for her here.

She needs lots of space and a cozy barn.

Lucas: [Sighs] Yeah. Okay, I get it.

Alma: We gotta do what's good for Ms. Moo, even if it feels sad to say goodbye.

Papi: I know it's hard, but I'm proud of all of you.

Alma: Waitaminute, but saying goodbye doesn't mean we can't give Ms. Moo a goodbye parade!

Lucas: Great idea! Junior: Oh yeah!

Papi: She'd love that. Mami: Definitely.

Alma: Let the first Bronx Cow Parade begin!

[Crowd cheering and clapping] Papi: Okay, right this way. Very good.

[Ms. Moo moos happily]

Alright, just a little closer now.

There you go.

[Car honks]

Crowd: Bye! Bye Ms. Moo! Papi: Adios!

Lucas: [Sigh] I miss her already.

Junior: [Sigh] Me too.

Alma: She may be gone. But we'll remember her forever.

Papi: Definitely, and I know the perfect place that will remind us of her.

The ice cream shop! Come on!

Kids: Ice cream! Yeah!

Alma: I scream, you scream, we all scream for ice cream!

And Ms. Moo!

My mom helped me do it with chalk.

Alma: Like this kinda chalk?

Lucas: No. It's a special kind just for hair.

My mom got a blue stripe too. See?

Naomi: Hi.

Alma: Wow!

Lucas: Yep, it's our new thing.

Naomi: Yeah it is!

When Lucas stays with me, we always style our hair.

Naomi: Mmhmm.

Naomi/Lucas: Blue hair, we got flair!

Rockin' our new hair ev'rywhere!

Naomi: Oh yeah.

Alma: I love it!

Lucas: Thanks.

Come on, mom, I wanna go home so we can keep working on our hair song.

Lucas: Bye, Alma! Naomi: Bye.

Alma: See ya!

Lucas's new look is sa-weet!

Tía Gloria: Ready to go to the salon, sis?

Mami: Oy sí, these locks need some love.

Alma: Waitaminute... Mami and Tía Gloria are going to get their hair done...

Sooo maybe I can get mine done too!

Mami, can I go to the salon with you?

I wanna get a blue stripe. Just like Lucas!

Mami: A blue stripe? Mmmm, I dunno, mija...

Alma: ¿Por favor? Lucas did his with hair chalk, so it's not forever.

Tía Gloria: Oh, yeah! I've heard of that. One wash and it's gone.

Mami: Well...

Okay, I'm down with that.

Alma: Oh yeah! Uh oh yeah! Mami/Tía Gloria: [Chuckle]

Alma: ¡Gracias, Mami!

This is gonna be sooo good!

Mrs. Martinez: Uy yu yu yuuy!!

Can't wait to test out these new hair chalks.

Alma: Oooooh, pretty!

Mrs. Martinez: Vamos a ver. What color do you want?

We can do this wild orange, or...

Ooh! This jazzy magenta.

Alma: I know what color I want already. Bright blue! Just like Lucas.

Mrs. Martinez: Oh yeah, ¡me encantó!

I saw him and his mom earlier. Their hair looked fab!

Alma: That's exactly what I want.

Mrs. Martinez: [Yelling] Nope.

Alma: [Yelling] How ‘bout now?

Mrs. Martinez: Mmm, mm!

Almost done.

Eddie: Nah, I don't like it.

I love it!

Alma: Me too! I got the idea from Lucas!

Eddie: ¡Chévere! I wanna do it too.

Mrs. Martinez: I'm game!

You just gotta check with your mom.

Eddie: Where is my mom anyway?

Mami: [Chuckle] She's under the hair dryer.

Alma: [Giggle] Kinda looks like a space helmet to me!

[Hair dryer whirrs loudly]

Eddie: Hola, Mamá, can I get a blue streak in my hair like Alma's, por favor?

Tía Gloria: Huh? What's that, papi?

Eddie: [Yelling] Can I get blue hair?

Tía Gloria: [Yelling] You want a blue bear?

Just kidding, I heard you.

You sure you don't want purple like moi?

Eddie: No, gracias. I want my hair to look just like Alma's.

Tía Gloria: That's okay. I like being the only one in the fam with purple in my hair!

It makes me feel special.

Mami: No one can pull off purple like my sis [chuckle]

Lauren: Did it take a long time?

Was it fun?

Alma: Thanks, it's the Lucas Look!
