SHOOBY: It must belong to a giant!

DOOBY: Whoa! My upright bass! That's where I left it!

Um, you're too small to be a giant.

[laughs]: I'm Kitty Shook, and this is my bass.

Well, it's nice to meet you all.

But I want to know, how do you hold that giant violin?

Shooby, it's called an upright bass.

This is a violin-- they're both string instruments,

but a bass plays low notes, while a violin plays high notes.

The bass helps keep the beat, kind of like the drums.
