So, step one, you fold the felt sheet in

[Lyla] half, and you draw half the star,

[Lyla] and cut it out...like this...

Step two, make the little star the

same way.

Step three, fold the sheet in half to

make the heart and cut it out.

Step four, you glue the cut-out pieces

together, and put a pin on the back.

Step five, connect the LED light to the

battery and switch.

Finally, step six, punch a hole through

the middle of the pin,

And put the light through, and attach the battery to the back!

And then your fancy pin is done.

Got it?

[Liana] Yeah... [Louisa] Mm-hm. [Zakiya] Okay.

All right, Operation Fancy Pin is a go!

[Louisa] Stu, I need glue please.

Um, those are the ones I cut out.

Each of them had one job and they passed the bag onto the

next person.

Liana, you cut out the hearts.

I'll cut out the stars.

I'll put the pieces together so Stu can glue them.

I'll punch a hole through the middle of the pin.

I'll put the light through and attach the battery to

the back.

With everybody doing one job, it should go smoothly.

And maybe we'll get the pins done in time.

Here's how it works.

This is one of Kibbles' favorite toys.

And UNDER the bottom of the toy, we taped aluminum foil.

There's also foil on the bottom of the box too.

The foil is connected with wires to my tablet.

When Kibbles plays with the toy, she presses it down.

The foil pieces underneath the toy touch each other...

...which it then sends a signal to the camera app,

and it takes a picture!
