It's one of my favorite holiday traditions.

- Ten boxes! Done!

- Time to deliver them.

[squeaks] Hey, Stu!

[trilling]

Here's how to deliver the cookies.

First, pick a box and look at the label.

This one's for Mr. Ramsey! See?

It has his picture and address on it.

Then, go to that address,

knock, and when the person comes out,

give them the box of cookies!

- And a friendly smile,

like this.

[trilling]

- Then, look at the next box.

Go to that address, knock on the door,

and give them the box of cookies and a smile.

[Stu trilling]

Keep doing that

over and over again in a loop.

After all the boxes have been delivered, come back home!

That's a lot of instructions.

- Of course he can! It's just a loop.

- Hey, I just got a message from Mr. Ramsey,

he says thanks for the cookies!

- Mr. Ramsey, done! And checked off the list.

- See, I knew Stu could do it.

- It's true, Stu is very good at following instructions.

- And he's so helpful!

It's hard to remember what we did without him.

- You remember the day when we first met Stu?

We were getting ready to go to the park.

- Something blue just whooshed all around us!

- Where did it go?

- We couldn't explain how we got the ball back!

And look at all the snow!

[Luke]: Ah. So Christmas-timey.

- Ooh! Almost forgot, we have to keep one box

to give to Thi and Everett!

- And the rest of these are ready to be delivered!

- Ready for another delivery?

- Ready! [Stu trilling]

Okay, Stu,

please follow the same instructions

that I gave you last time.

First, pick a box and look at the label.

The picture shows who to deliver it to.

Go to that person's house and knock on the door.

When they open the door,

give them the box of cookies and a big smile!

[trilling]

And make sure you deliver all of the boxes,

and then come back home. Okay?

- Uh-huh!

- Go, St-- Wait!

Almost forgot one!

Go, Santa Stu, go!

- Are we sure Stu can finish all the deliveries

before the snow gets worse?

- If Stu can climb the side of a building

to get our basketball, he can definitely deliver

a few boxes of cookies in the snow.

- No doubt! Does anyone remember

what happened right after that basketball incident?

- I sure do.

- Mom, Dad,

the strangest thing just happened!

- We were playing basketball,

and Liana threw the ball on the roof...

- And we were trying to figure out

how to get it down again, when all of a sudden...

- Something blue-ish just whooshed around us...

- It was like,

whoosh, whoosh, whoosh!

[gibberish]

- And then the basketball fell right through the hoop,

and bounced into my hands!

- It was weird.

- Huh, that is strange...

- Hey! I finished making a whole bunch of icicles, see?

Don't you feel cooler already just looking at them?

Next, I'm gonna make...

paper snowflakes! Who wants to help?

- Sounds like a great way to feel cooler

on a hot day like today!

- But your mom and I can't help right now.

We've got to go down to the diner to unload a delivery.

- They can help after they practice their instruments

like they promised.

- We didn't know what was going on,

- It was Stu who moved all those boxes!

- Uh, speaking of which,

has anyone seen the box that was right here?

It was for Everett and Thi.

- Oh. Whoops.

I thought it was one of the boxes for Stu to deliver!

So I put it on the wagon with the rest of them.

So now Stu's got it.

- No worries, we can give it to Ev and Thi

after Stu gets back.

But now, it's time to decorate the tree!

He always puts on the lights, and the star on top!

- Stu delivered that first batch of boxes so quick,

We were gonna make way more paper snowflakes.

- But it was taking way too long.

- Hey, maybe if all three of us worked together,

it would go faster!

Do you want to help us make paper snowflakes?

[excited trilling]

Do you know how to make snowflakes?

It's okay, I'll show you.

First, we take a piece of paper and fold it in half,

and then in half again.

Second, we cut out some shapes,

any shapes, from the edges into the middle.

Third, open the snowflake up.

- Ooh! [trilling]: Ooh!

- And we need to make a lot of these,

so we'll keep doing those same steps

and over again in a loop!

- Until we've made all this paper into snowflakes!

- Do you understand?

[chirps] Great! Here's some scissors.

Now, ready, set, make snowflakes!

[trilling]

[Lyla and Luke]: Whoa!

- You're done already?!

- Wow, that's amazing! [soft trilling]

Now we just need to put these up around the house

so it looks like a winter wonderland!

Here's what to do.

- Okay! Let's try it out.

He's really good at following instructions.

- Can Stu live with us, Mom and Dad?

[Stu trilling]

- I can't believe I'm saying this, but yes,

Stu can stay with us!

- Yes! - Yay!

[excited trilling] - Want a snack?

- Wait till you meet my fish, Brucey!

- Do you play any instruments?

- And we've been best friends ever since.

But where could Stu be?

He should be back by now!

[error beep]

[bell on door rings] - Merry Christmas, Loops!

- Wow! That Christmas tree looks sweet!

What's wrong, Lyla?

- Stu is out delivering boxes of cookies,

and he should be home by now, but he's not,

and I have no idea where he could be!

We can't just leave him out there in the snow!

But what can we do?

- Okay, okay, let's take a breath,

and we'll figure out where Stu is together.

[breathes deeply] - Okay. But how?

- Well, Stu always follows instructions exactly, right?

So what, exactly, were his instructions?

- I said to pick a box, look at the picture on it,

go to that person's house,

and then give the box to that person.

- And a friendly smile!

- Okay, and then what?

- Then, look at the next box and deliver it to that person.

And keep doing those steps over and over in a loop

until every box is delivered.

Then, come back home.

- Ooh! Wait a second, Louis,

did you put a picture of Everett and Thi

on their box of cookies?

- No, I figured we'd just give it to them ourselves.

- So now, Stu has a box

without a label on it to tell him who it's for.

- Which means Stu doesn't know who to deliver it to.

- And Stu won't come back home

until he's delivered that last box!

- Can't we just tell Stu to come back now?

- Maybe, but we don't even know where he is.

- Well, we do know the last box

he delivered was to Ale's house...

- That's not too far from here.

- So maybe Stu could be nearby,

trying to figure out what to do next?

[gasps] - I have an idea.

Hey, Stu!

- Lyla, honey, come inside, it's freezing out here!

- Mom, we have to give Stu new instructions to come home.

- Can Stu hear you?

- I don't know, but we have to try.

Maybe some of our friends could help us call out for Stu.

So I sent them a message

and asked them to go outside in a few minutes,

and when it's exactly o'clock,

yell, "Hey, Stu, come home!"

- That might actually work!

- Quick, let's ask as many friends for help as we can.

[upbeat music]

- It's almost o'clock!
