[sighs]: Nope.

Our new neighbors have got to be here by now.

Where could they be?

Do you think our new neighbors will be astronauts?

Ooh, do you think they've met moon unicorns?

[gasps]: Or space dinosaurs?

Actually, kiddos,

the dad, Jean-Michel, is a chef and owns a food truck.

And the mom, Marie, teaches dance.

Their son, Devonte, is ten.

He loves inventing and creating things.

And he's going to study engineering

with Leiko at the Creation Station.

Well, I bet they'd still like to meet space dinosaurs someday.

[car horn honking] KIDS [gasps]: They're here!

Hey-a! Hi! We've been waiting for you.

Bonjou, zanmi. KIDS: Huh?

That's Haitian Creole; it means "Hello, friends."

Bonjou, zanmi! I'm Zadie.

That's Malik and Zeke and our Grandma Super.

[gasps]: And this is Snout.

Hi, everyone.

Bonjou.I'm Marie. And I'm Jean-Michel.

I like your car.

Merci,Zeke.

It's our Tap Tap Food Truck.

Welcome to the Treeborhood!

I think we're gonna like it here.

Especially after we build the house I designed.

You designed a house?

But you're just a kid.

I love designing stuff!

I designed this house with my parents' help.

Wanna see?Yeah! Yes!

It has a dance studio and a great big kitchen.

Now we just have to find a place to build it.

I have a fantabulous idea.

What if I gave you one of my special,

Who is this Roy guy?

[laughs]: R-O-Y-G-B-I-V--

all the colors of the rainbow.

"R" stands for red.

"O" stands for orange.

"Y" stands for yellow, "G" stands for green,

"B" stands for blue,

"I" stands for indigo, and "V" stands for violet.

DUFFY: Right!

And I have red tomatoes, orange carrots,

yellow bell pepper, green edamame,

indigo potatoes and violet eggplant.

MICHEL: You left out blue.

Of course! I forgot the blue corn.

Jean-Michel, it'll be nice having

another chef in the Treeborhood.

Stop by our food truck anytime.

We can share recipes.

We've gotta run. They're looking for the perfect place

to build their house.

Well, there is a nice empty spot next to our house.

Yup, the design was inspired

by our band, The Two Roos.

but he told me he's been looking for someone

to teach some of the dances that he doesn't know.

ZADIE: Ooh, will you show us?

DEVONTE: The space isn't tall enough for our house.

That upper branch would be right

in the middle of our dining room.

What if we never find a place to build our house?

Where will we live?

I promise we'll find a spot.

ZADIE: Hey, maybe the Everything Emporium

has a place to build your house.

After all, it has everything.

[blows whistle]Onwards!

Mr. E owns the Emporium

and prides himself on having everything you might need.

He's the most in control and organized fella

you'll ever meet.

[shouting, shrieking]

I opened the new shipment of mega springy,

sproing-y springs, and now this!

Whoa!

Let's help Mr. E catch the springs.

[grunts]

I'm trying to build an automatic book shelver,

but I can't get it to work right.

If you tighten this big bolt, and loosen this little one,

then the arms will slow down,

and you can point them where you want the books to go.

[pushes button] Thanks.

[shelver whirring]

You really are an engineering whiz.

We are going to have a lot of fun together.

Oh yeah, we will. Look!

Jet boots!

Perfect for building

and blasting off into adventure.

And check out the Robo-Dino Lab,

where I can create my very own robotic dinosaur.

A D printer-- that I can use to design anything I dream up,

from alien spaceships to dragon armor.

and wide enough to hold our house.

It's the best house we've ever had.

When everything went wrong in the Treeborhood today,

I thought you might not want to live here.Zeke,

a new home isn't about the place,

it is about your neighbors.

Everywhere we went today, there was someone there to help.

And I think I speak for all of us when I say,

that we couldn't imagine nicer neighbors anywhere.

MALIK: "Ice Cream Bike!"

[slurps]

ZEKE: Snout says, "Touch your head."

Melt into a puddle.

[sighs]: It's too hot to play, anyway.

We need to find a way to cool off.

Even Snout is hot. Look at him!

Maybe we can just go back home

and take turns sitting in front of the fan.

Hey, I've got an idea.

Let's borrow Ellie's Boo Boo Blimp

to get a giant block of ice from Antarctica.

Then we could sit on it and cool down.

Or we could just swim in the lake.

Buckley already told me the lake feels more like a warm bath.

Doubt that will cool us off.

Some deliciously cold ice cream would sure help right now.

Let's go to the Everything Emporium.

Mr. E always has ice cream.

Ha-ha! Take that, heat.

Thought I wouldn't beat you, but I did.

[sighs]

KIDS: Mr. E! Mr. E! Mr. E!

What? What? What?!

Please tell us you have ice cream?

Unfortunately, I'm all out.

ALL: Aw...

Ah...

Oh, no! My fortress of coolness.

I must have blown a fuse. Aw...

There's nothing to keep us cool.

And there's no ice cream!

[sighing]

Maybe we can create our own ice cream.

Then we can help the whole Treeborhood cool down.

How hard can it be to make ice cream?

Yeah, all we need is some ice to make it cold.

ZEKE:And some cream to make it creamy.

MR. E.: And don't forget the sugar to make it sweet.

Lucky, for you, I have all those things right here in my store.

What do we owe you, Mr. E?

before all this stuff gets warm and melts.

Now I'm nice and cool.

Excellent! Once I get it worked out,

my water balloon launcher will be able

to fling a water balloon

all the way to the Flowerhood.

But until then, we can use it to hurl water balloons

at anyone in the Treeborhood who needs to cool down.

JUN JUN, LOUISA, and DUFFY: Like us!

[laughs]

So, what you making at the Creation Station?

Ice cream.

I loveice cream!

We have all the ingredients.

We've just gotta make it.

Well, give me a shout if you need my help working it out.

Uh, Malik.

How are we gonna make ice cream?

Well first, we need to put the cream

and sugar in something.

Time for my favorite part;

pouring.

I love the glug, glug, glug sound.

[glugging]

[giggles]

Ooh, I wanna add the ice.

ZADIE:That does not look like ice cream.

Hey, Devonte. Can you help us?

What you've got there

is just cream with ice.

Not ice cream.

How do we fix this?

The ice doesn't go inside the container

with the cream and sugar.

If you put it inside, it'll melt

and make the sugary cream all watery.

ALL: Oh!

The ice needs to go outside the container.

Here's a plan:

put the ice in here,

in the space between the containers.

ALL: Oh...

You've got this.

I'll be fine-tuning my launcher if you need any more help.

[snoring]

Huh? We improved our design,

but nothing is happening?

We did everything Devonte told us.

Yeah, all we have now is a container

of cold liquid-y cream and sugar.

I guess we didn't ask the right questions.

Devonte, help!

Ah!

[grunts]

Ah.

[wrench rattles]

Devonte, how do we fix this?

I think we're missing a step.

Hm, I've got a plan.

See how all around the edges it looks like ice cream?

Only the part of the cream

that's close to the ice is freezing.

If you shake the container,

all the cream will get a chance to be next to the ice.

The shaking will also make the ice cream light and fluffy.

Ah!

[water splashes]

Ah.

Oops, gotta run.

Ha, ha, ha.

The cold air from my walk-in freezer will cool me off.

Ha, I've got you beat this time, heat.

Mm-hm.

Ah.

Let me turn up the fan a little bit right here.

A little boop boop--- agh!

[struggling]

Help! I'm stuck! This is a hot mess.

The heat has beat me again.

Now it's personal.

[yelling]

Nice going, Zeke! Yes!

[yelling]

Yay!

My arms are getting tired and I'm hot.

I wanna try.

Let's go! Hooray!

[sighs]

It is too hot to run.

Let me try. Wahoo!

[grunts]

Phew... it's gotta be ice cream by now.

This is taking forever.

It'll be winter by the time it freezes into ice cream.

There's gotta be a way to make ice cream faster.

DEVONTE: Look out, everyone!

Whoo hoo! Yeah!

Whoa!

Well, that didn't work.

Devonte, making ice cream is taking forever.

How do we fix this?

It's way too hot

to keep running back and forth shaking it.

You know, my Papi used to make ice cream using a bike.

Say what?

How did it work?

Tell us! Please!

Well, as the bike wheel spins,

it turns the ice cream container really fast.

So, instead of shaking it by hand,

the bike does all the hard work.

Here's a plan of what the ice cream bike

could look like.

I call it... the Chillmatic .

We'll need a bike to create it. I'll get mine.

Now, we need to put the container on the bike.

DEVONTE: Let's get Leiko to help us.

[metal stretching]

Whoa.

That's an ice cream bike, all right.

Just like my Papi's.

Time to test it out.

It's working!

The container's spinning!

And we don't have to shake it with our arms anymore.

Whoo-Hoo! Yeah!

Now, let's go outside and make us some ice cream.

Let's go! Yay!

[faucet creaks]

[grunts, shouts]

Ah!

No!

Whoa!

[water splashes]

[groans]

[sighs] Well, at least I'm finally cool.

[pool pops, Mr. E shouts]

We made ice cream!

Yeah!

BOTH: Cool!

We worked it out!

Let's put it into the cooler so it doesn't melt.

Now all we need are ice cream cones and a scooper.

To the Everything Emporium.

[bell dings] Hi, Mr. E.

We need an ice cream scoop and cones for our ice cream.

Nicey icey cold ice cream?

Take whatever you need.

Attention, Treeborhood!

Is this heat getting you down?

ALL: Yes.

Are you looking for a way to cool down?

ALL: Yes!

Well, come to the Everything Emporium

for some nice,

cold homemade ice cream.

[bell dings, cheers]

Ice cream time!
