CARL: I will need some help building it. Gluing this part

CARL: requires four hands. Would you please help me?

FORREST: Okay!

CARL: Oh no! That was the only string in my collection that

CARL: was long enough. Without the string, I can't finish this

CARL: track. We need it to tie the track to the bridge!

FORREST: We could use a shoelace

CARL: Good idea, but...I keep my shoelace collection at my

CARL: dad's house. And we can't use ours, because then

CARL: our shoes would fall off.

FORREST: I have an extra pair at home! I'll be back as fast

FORREST: as I can, so we can finish building.

CARL: I think we have everything.

FORREST: Hey, Carl! Hi, Arugula!

FORREST: Whatcha doing?

ARUGULA: Today, Carl and I are gonna make the biggest,

ARUGULA: longest marble run ever!

FORREST: Whoa!

FORREST: What's a marble run?

CARL: It's when you take a marble -

CARL: like Rainbow James-bow here - and you send it down

CARL: pipes and tunnels and drops. Like a marble roller

CARL: coaster!

ARUGULA: My mom showed us this video on FuzzyTube!

CARL: Hmm. We have to move the tubes closer together.

CARL: There. Let's try it again.

CARL/ARUGULA: [FRUSTRATED SIGHS]

ARUGULA: It really is hot out.

CARL: degrees, Fahrenheit?! This is the highest

CARL: temperature I've ever seen! But not as hot as

CARL: boiling water.

FORREST: yet? You have to try out my slippy sloop slide!

CARL: Not done yet.

CARL: It's impossible!

FORREST: I felt the same way this morning.

FORREST: Sure! It took me a LOT of tries to make this

FORREST: slide.

ARUGULA: How did you make it work?

FORREST: Well...

FORREST: I had a plan, but didn't know how tough it would

FORREST: be to build it.

FORREST: Things started out okay...but then they got a

FORREST: little tricky.

FORREST: I made a few...helpful mistakes.

FORREST: Ugh! Come on!

FORREST: ...it helped me learn how to do it better the

FORREST: next time!

FORREST: It was a LOT of moving. And lifting. And then

FORREST: more moving.

FORREST: It was!

FORREST: But after a lot of tries, I finally figured it

FORREST: out!

CARL: We made a ton of marble-ous mistakes, Arugula...

CARL: But first - let's cool off.

CARL: I was thinking it might also help to make a plan

ARUGULA: We want a tunnel at the then it'll go into a

CARL: Ooh! Then maybe ANOTHER funnel!

ARUGULA: Yeah. Then, it'll go down the slide...then up a

ARUGULA: ramp, then it will fly four feet nine inches into

ARUGULA: the air!

CARL: We know that if the tubes aren't close enough, the

CARL: marble will fall out, so let's make sure the tubes are

CARL: nice and close this time.
