CARL: I'm meeting Sheldon and Forrest in four

CARL: minutes and twenty-three seconds.

CARL: Do you want to come?

LOTTA: Thanks! But I kind of just want to go home and be by

LOTTA: myself today.

CARL: I understand.

CARL/LOTTA: Bye!

LOTTA: Of course, everybody knows that song.

ARUGULA: Nico and I love it.

ARUGULA: Do you know the dance?

NICO: Everybody knows the dance!

LOTTA: I think I've seen the dance?

NICO: [excited giggles] Yes, yes, yes! We'll show you!

ARUGULA: It's easy once you learn it. Don't worry.

LOTTA: I was just going home to practice piano.

NICO: You have to learn it!

ARUGULA: Pleeeaaase? It would be so fun to all dance

ARUGULA: the dah dee dah together! Please, Lotta?

LOTTA: Okay.

ARUGULA: Yes!

ARUGULA: Okay, this is basically how it goes

ARUGULA: [catching breath]

ARUGULA: So, you basically do that over and over for the

ARUGULA: whole song. Got it?

LOTTA: You went so fast! It was like one big blur of

LOTTA: twins!

ARUGULA: We can do it slower, first.

NICO: Come stand next to us, so we're all in a row.

ARUGULA: Of course!

LOTTA: I'm not ready for the music!

NICO: No, I have an idea! Arugula, can I take a video of

NICO: you? So Lotta can watch the moves!

ARUGULA: Nico loves making videos.

LOTTA: Oh! Okay!

NICO: Ready, and action!

ARUGULA: Okay, so. When the song starts and it goes

ARUGULA: swoosh", you go...one and two.

ARUGULA: Three and four. Mmm-mmm-mmm. Did you film that,

ARUGULA: Nico?

ARUGULA: Now you try!

LOTTA: Ugh...

ARUGULA: lean onto that foot! LEAN...

LOTTA: Oh no!

LOTTA: Is that really the dance? It doesn't seem right.

LOTTA: It doesn't go with the music. The song starts out

LOTTA: It starts out...orange and fluffy, with swirly yellow

LOTTA: lines.

LOTTA: When the green blocks come in, a stomp seems right,

LOTTA: but a stomp in the orange fluffy part, that

LOTTA: doesn't go.

NICO: Fluffy what now?

LOTTA: You don't see colors when you hear music?

NICO: What? What do you mean?

ARUGULA: Can you actually see music?

ARUGULA: Awesome!

LOTTA: Just kidding! Heh heh...Never mind.

LOTTA: Forget I said anything. From the top!

ARUGULA: Stomp left, punch down. Down. Left.

ARUGULA: Left! Other left. That's right! Uh, no, left?

LOTTA: [uncomfortable groan]

ARUGULA: Yup. You're -- you're starting to get it.

ARUGULA: Yup, definitely!

LOTTA: I'm NOT getting it!

NICO: It's easier with the music.

LOTTA: No, it's not!

ARUGULA: If you don't want to do it, it's okay, Lotta.

ARUGULA: Really!

LOTTA: No, I got this! If everyone 'dah dee dahs', I

LOTTA: dah dee dah.

ARUGULA: Okay...

LOTTA: Focus, Lotta, focus!

LOTTA: I can't do it!

NICO: But that was a good stomp! Do that again, here,

NICO: like this -

LOTTA: Don't touch me! I'm trying to do what

LOTTA: you're doing! I'm always trying to do

LOTTA: what you're doing!

ARUGULA: Lotta!

LOTTA: [sad groan]

CARL: Lotta!

LOTTA: Carl! I thought you were going to do something

LOTTA: with Sheldon and Forrest today.

CARL: I am. We decided to water the flowers in the park

CARL: because it hasn't rained in so long.

LOTTA: Then...why are you measuring the ground with a

LOTTA: measuring tape?

CARL: I'm measuring the distance of that flowerbed to

CARL: the footbridge.

CARL: And I'm writing it down so I can tell Sheldon and

CARL: Forrest exactly where it's located. The flowerbed is

CARL: inches from the footbridge, in case you're

CARL: wondering.

LOTTA: Oh!

CARL: Sheldon and Forrest wanted to water the flowers,

CARL: but you know Lotta...I do not like the smell of

CARL: those flowers.

LOTTA: I know you don't Carl!

CARL: So I thought of something I DO like,

CARL: where I could still help and be with my friends!

CARL: So I'm on flower- finding duty, and

CARL: Sheldon and Forrest are on flower-watering

CARL: duty. That way I can keep my distance - five feet at

CARL: all times - and not have to smell their creepy, dusty

CARL: flowery smell for too long.

LOTTA: Ohhhh. I get it.

CARL: I thought you were going home?

LOTTA: I was...but Nico and Arugula were listening to

LOTTA: music, and they wanted me to dance with them.

CARL: You don't like dancing to music, you like making

CARL: music!

LOTTA: I know.

CARL: And you're so good at it!

LOTTA: Thanks, Carl!

CARL: I have to go report the distance of these flowers to

CARL: Sheldon and Forrest. Perhaps I'll see you later!

LOTTA: Okay!

LOTTA: You are good at making music, Lotta!

LOTTA: Hmmm.

NICO: You can actually play "Everybody Dah Dee Dah"?

LOTTA: Yes!

NICO: Will you show how to do it for the camera?

LOTTA: Sure!

LOTTA: It's just this one. And this one.

LOTTA: And this one!

NICO: Why didn't you tell us you could play "Everybody Dah

NICO: Dee Dah"?

LOTTA: I just figured it out now. It's pretty easy for me

LOTTA: to learn how to play a song once I hear it.

LOTTA: Besides, I didn't think it was important. You wanted

LOTTA: me to dance with you, so I was just trying to do

LOTTA: what you wanted. But dancing is really hard for me.

ARUGULA: I'm sorry, Lotta. We didn't mean to make you feel

ARUGULA: bad! Can I give you a hug?

LOTTA: Mmm, no thanks. I really don't like being touched.

LOTTA: But thank you for what you said.

NICO: We just thought it would be fun!

LOTTA: It's fun for you two. But I'm different. I like

LOTTA: playing music WAY more than dancing to it. And I see

LOTTA: colors and shapes when I hear music and you two

LOTTA: don't...

NICO: Okay, first of all, that's amazing! I wish I could

NICO: see colors when I hear music! That's like, a magical

NICO: gift, Lotta!

LOTTA: [giggle] Thanks?

NICO: Secondly, RuRu and I, we may be twins but even we're

NICO: different from each other.

ARUGULA: That's right! Woo!

NICO: I get so mad when people mix us up.

ARUGULA: Our differences are what make me Arugula, her

ARUGULA: Nico, and you, Lotta!

NICO: Yeah! Dancing is fun, but really, I'd rather make a

NICO: video.

LOTTA: And I'd definitely rather play.

ARUGULA: And I'd definitely rather dance to it. Hey! It

ARUGULA: sounds like we all like to Dah Dee Dah, but in

ARUGULA: our own ways!

ARUGULA: [dancing rhythm sounds]

Lotta: [plays a new and differen

LOTTA: I don't know! I'm just making it up.

ARUGULA: I love it!

NICO: Lotta's playing music, Arugula's dancing, and I'm

NICO: making a video! Want to be in it, too?

NICO: Okay, Forrest! Show me what you've got!

FORREST: Whee!

SHELDON: I want to do something too!

ARUGULA: [dancing rhythm sounds]

NICO: Hey Carl, how do YOU like to Dah Dee Dah?

LOTTA: Yeah, Carl!

CARL: [Giggles]

CARL'S MAMA: Carl! What are you doing?

CARL: I'm making popcorn!

CARL'S MAMA: Okay, looks like someone's playing Popcorn

CARL'S MAMA: Pirates today!

CARL: Oh yeah! It's Sheldon and my favorite thing to do!

CARL: We're Popcorn Pirates! Pop! Pop! Pop! And we will

CARL: never stop, stop, stop! Being pirates - popcorn

CARL: pirates! Pop! Pop! Pop!

CARL'S MAMA: [laugh] You and Sheldon have been playing that

CARL'S MAMA: since you were in preschool!

CARL: And we still love it! Like the pirate chant says -

CARL: we will never stop!

[Popcorn machine popping]

CARL'S MAMA: Uh oh! Seems like you didn't put the top of the

CARL'S MAMA: popcorn maker on tight enough...

CARL: Don't worry, Mama! A popcorn pirate knows what to

CARL: do!

CARL: [giggle]

ARUGULA: Whoa, whoa! WHOA! I'm ready to be a popcorn

ARUGULA: pirate! ahhh!

ARUGULA: Oops! Sorry, Carl! I couldn't see very well with

ARUGULA: this eyepatch. Do I really need to wear it?

CARL: Every good Popcorn Pirate needs an eyepatch! It's

CARL: only your first time playing, Arugula. Don't worry,

CARL: you'll get used to it.

ARUGULA: But now...your map is stuck in the tree. How are we

ARUGULA: gonna get it?

FORREST: Popcorn Pirate Parrot Forrest reporting for duty!

CARL: Arrrrrrr!

ARUGULA: Arrrrrr!

ARUGULA: Let's have a look at the map, Popcorn Pirate

ARUGULA: Captain Carl!

CARL: Not yet. We can't look at it until Popcorn Pirate

CARL: Sheldon gets here.

FORREST: Is he even coming?

CARL: Of course he is! Sheldon loves playing Popcorn Pirates

CARL: more than anyone! Just you wait! He'll be here in

CARL: full pirate gear, yelling out a big loud Arrrr!

SHELDON: Hi, Carl!

CARL: There he is! I told you Sheldon would be here! And

CARL: he'd be dressed in pirate gear...

CARL: ...um...where's your pirate gear, Sheldon?

SHELDON: I didn't wear it today, Carl.

CARL: Well, that's okay. You brought your eyepatch though,

CARL: right?

SHELDON: No.

ARUGULA: But every Popcorn Pirate needs their eyepatch!

CARL: Sheldon knows that. He's been a Popcorn Pirate forever!

CARL: He loves pirates just as much as I do! Right, Sheldon?

SHELON: Um...

CARL: You DO love pirates, don't you, Sheldon, old buddy?

SHELDON: Of course, I do.

SHELDON: I just couldn't find my eyepatch.

CARL: Well, don't worry, Sheldon, old pal. I'll just

CARL: get you one from my eyepatch collection!

SHELDON: No! Uh, you don't have to!

SHELDON: [big sigh]

ARUGULA: What's wrong, Sheldon?

SHELDON: I don't really like playing Popcorn Pirates

SHELDON: anymore.

ARUGULA/FORREST: [big gasps] You don't?!

SHELDON: No. I used to, but now I find it kind of boring.

ARUGULA: Well, aren't you going to tell Carl?

SHELDON: I planned on telling him, but when I saw how

SHELDON: excited he was about playing, I just couldn't bring

SHELDON: myself to do it.

FORREST: What are you going to do?

SHELDON: I'll just pretend that I like playing Popcorn

SHELDON: Pirates...

ARUGULA: Are you sure that's a good idea?

SHELDON: I don't want Carl to feel bad...so, pretending to

SHELDON: like it is the only way to go.

CARL: Here you go, Sheldon!

CARL: Okay, Popcorn Pirates. It's time to do the Popcorn

CARL: Pirate Chant!

SHELDON: Do we really need to do the chant, Carl?

CARL: But we ALWAYS do the chant!

ARUGULA: I'll do the chant! I was working on it all last

ARUGULA: night!

CARL: But we should all do the chant.

[♪]

SHELDON: Of course we should.

SHELDON: Let's chant.

FUZZY FRIENDS: We're Popcorn Pirates! Pop pop pop!

FUZZY FRIENDS: And we will never stop, stop stop!

FUZZY FRIENDS: Being pirates! Popcorn pirates! Pop, pop, pop!

CARL: Now it's time for today's Popcorn Pirate

CARL: adventure! Pirate Mama gave me a map this morning.

CARL: Looks like we are on a quest to find the Mystery Ship

CARL: of Fuzzytown!

ARUGULA/FORREST: Mystery Ship of Fuzzytown?! Wow!

SHELDON: That sounds like a long adventure. Maybe we

SHELDON: should pick something easier.

CARL: Perhaps you didn't hear me, Sheldon. There's a mystery

CARL: ship! We're pirates - we could really use a ship!

SHELDON: Do we really need one? I mean, how much longer

SHELDON: are we going to be pirates anyway?

CARL: Are we not gonna play pirates anymore, Sheldon?!

SHELDON: Oh, um...Well... I mean, of course we are! I was

SHELDON: just thinking eventually we would stop. When

SHELDON: we grow up and get jobs and stuff. But that's a

SHELDON: long time away, so let's look for the Mystery

SHELDON: Ship of Fuzzytown!

CARL: Okay! Here is the map that will lead us to the

CARL: mystery ship!

ARUGULA: Where do we start?

CARL: Fuzzytown Forest! Now, let's go find it! Arrr!

ARUGULA/FORREST: Arrr!

SHELDON: Arrr.

[♪]

ARUGULA: Where are we going?!

CARL: We have to get to where this X is on the map.

FORREST: Where is the X?

CARL: I'm not the best at reading maps...But, Popcorn

CARL: Pirate Sheldon is. He's our navigator!

SHELDON: Um...Maybe Arugula should do it.

CARL: But you're always the navigator!

SHELDON: But sometimes things change.

CARL: I guess...

ARUGULA: I can read it!

ARUGULA: Hmm. According to the map, the X is just past a

ARUGULA: large orange boulder and a bush in the shape of a

ARUGULA: bell.

ARUGULA: There's the orange boulder!

FORREST: And...there's the bell bush!

ARUGULA: Then the X would be...

ARUGULA: Here. X marks the spot.

SHELDON: Wow, nice job! Arugula makes a great

SHELDON: navigator, don't you think, Carl?

CARL: That was very good navigation, Popcorn Pirate

CARL: Arugula! Now let's look around, and see if we see any

CARL: signs of a ship!

[♪]

Sheldon: [sigh]

[♪]

CARL: What's wrong, Sheldon? Why aren't you looking?

SHELDON: Oh. I'm not sure. I guess I'm just a little tired.

CARL: But we can't find the ship without you!

SHELDON: Sure, you can! You're a great captain! And Arugula

SHELDON: is an amazing navigator. And Forrest is your

SHELDON: trusty squirrel parrot.

CARL: But we also need you! We wouldn't be able to find

CARL: anything without the whole crew!

ARUGULA: Found something!

ARUGULA: Look at these tracks! They look like they were made

ARUGULA: by something big and long, like a ship!

FORREST: And...there are bits of wood! And a ship can be made

FORREST: out of wood!

SHELDON: You see, Carl, the pirate crew can do things

SHELDON: without me.

CARL: But we're much better with you! Now let's follow

CARL: those tracks and find that mystery ship! Arrr!

ARUGULA/FORREST: Arrr!

SHELDON: Arrr.

FORREST: The tracks end here.

ARUGULA: How will we find the ship now?

CARL: This is when we turn to the most amazing Popcorn

CARL: Pirate of all!

CARL: Pirate Sheldon will know what to do!

SHELDON: Sorry, Carl, I have no idea.

CARL: Of course you do! You always have the best pirate

CARL: ideas when we're searching for a treasure.

SHELDON: I really don't! At least not today.

CARL: Come on, Sheldon, we're Popcorn Pirates. We never

CARL: stop!

SHELDON: Maybe I want to stop! I don't want to play Popcorn

SHELDON: Pirates anymore!

CARL: You mean today?

SHELDON: [big sigh]

SHELDON: I mean ever.

CARL: Huh? What are you talking about?

SHELDON: I don't really like playing Popcorn Pirates

SHELDON: anymore. It used to be my favorite, but it's just

SHELDON: not anymore. Sorry, Carl.

SHELDON: I'm going home.

CARL: This is mutiny! You can't abandon your captain!

CARL: You'll have to walk the plank for this! Popcorn

CARL: Pirates! We HAVE to do something! We have to grab

CARL: him! We need to tie him up! We have to...we have to...

ARUGULA: [softly] Let him go.

CARL: I can't! A Popcorn Pirate NEVER stops!

CARL: Sheldon, wait! Stop! I mean, don't stop! Playing, that

CARL: is!

CARL: Ahhh! Whoa!

SHELDON: Whoa! Buddy, are you okay?

CARL: No. You don't want to play pirates anymore.

SHELDON: But that doesn't mean you can't play. You can play

SHELDON: Popcorn Pirates with Arugula and Forrest.

CARL: But Popcorn Pirates is our thing! What changed?

SHELDON: I guess there are some things that I liked when

SHELDON: I was little, that I just don't like anymore.

CARL: Well...what if one day you don't like me anymore?

SHELDON: Carl, you're my best friend. I may not like playing

SHELDON: pirates anymore, but I still love being your

SHELDON: friend!

CARL: But what if you stop liking the other things we do

CARL: together, too?

SHELDON: Then we'll find new things we both like to do. I

SHELDON: promise!

CARL: Okay...

SHELDON: Phew! I was really worried about telling you, and

SHELDON: now I feel so much better. Hey! What do you say

SHELDON: we play Popcorn Pirates one last time?

CARL: One last time.

SHELDON/CARL: Arrr!

CARL: Okay, Popcorn Pirates, the X leads us here, so it

CARL: looks like we're on our own now, and we still don't

CARL: know where the Mysterious Ship of Fuzzytown

CARL: can be!

SHELDON: If only we could get a bird's-eye view and see over

SHELDON: these trees.

FORREST: How about a bird with a squirrel-eye view?

CARL: See anything, Forrest?

FORREST: [gasp]

FORREST: I see a ship!

CARL: A real ship?!

FORREST: Yes!

CARL: Let's go find that ship!

FUZZY FRIENDS: Arrrr!

SHELDON: I know this house!

ARUGULA: Never mind the house! Look at this pirate ship!

CARL: I'm not sure this is a pirate ship. It has a dragon

CARL: on it, and pirate ships did not usually have dragons.

FORREST: What other kind of ship could it be?

AUNT JUDY: Actually, it's a model of a longboat Viking

AUNT JUDY: ship!

SHELDON: Aunt Judy? I thought this was your house! But what

SHELDON: are you doing with a Viking ship?

AUNT JUDY: I carved this one myself! With my own teeth!

CARL/SHELDON: You did?!

AUNT JUDY: Oh, yeah! I've taken up model shipbuilding! I look

AUNT JUDY: for logs in the forest. I drag ‘em home. And I

AUNT JUDY: make ‘em into model ships!

CARL/SHELDON: I WANT TO BUILD MY OWN MODEL SHIP!

SHELDON: Carl, did you hear that? You want to build a

SHELDON: model ship, and I want to build a model ship!

CARL: Hey! We found something new we could do together!

CARL/SHELDON: MODEL SHIP BUILDING!

CARL: And I still want to play Popcorn Pirates, ‘cause

CARL: Arugula and Forrest make a great crew!

ARUGULA: Thanks, Captain!

FORREST: This calls for a celebration!

FORREST: Captain Sheldon's Aunt Judy, permission to board

FORREST: ship?

CARL: Popcorn Pirates...and model shipbuilders! Let's

CARL: have popcorn!
