CARL: Now this super-strong granite is one of the hardest

NICO: They...look like regular rocks to me.
CARL: No. They have googly eyes. See? That makes them

CARL: reasons rocks make great pets.
CARL: One, they're quiet. Two, they are hypoallergenic, which

LOTTA: I'm naming my pet rock "Melody", like a song!
CARL: Wait! Yours is called Syenite. I always name them by
CARL: the type of rock they are.
CARL: This pet rock is made of granite, so its name is
CARL: "Granite".
LOTTA: Sye-en-nun-ite? Sey-nan-ite?
CARL: Syenite.
LOTTA: Maybe that's the right way for you, but "Melody" is
LOTTA: way easier for me to say. And I like it better.
CARL: Mmm.[ stimming]

CARL: them. They're great to read with, and they keep your
CARL: papers from blowing away if you draw outside on a windy

CARL: know how to play with them. The way you all want to

SHELDON: Maybe there can be more than one right way to
SHELDON: play with pet rocks.
CARL: No. My way is the only right way. And if you're not
CARL: gonna play with those pet rocks MY way then...I'm
CARL: not playing with any of you!
SHELDON: Okay, Carl. If that's what you want. We'll be at the

CARL: I know how to play with pet rocks way better than they

NICO: super fast, but then I'll hop off and let him ride

NICO: trunk, and roll right into that box.
SHELDON/ARUGULA/LOTTA: Whoa!/ Cool!/ Let's do it!
CARL: They're playing with their pet rocks completely
CARL: wrong, but they seem to be having more fun than we are
CARL: right now. Hmm...I should collect my thoughts.
[♪ Collecting thoughts ]
CARL: I've had pet rocks longer than anyone, and I've
CARL: always had fun.
CARL: But my friends don't like my way of playing.

CARL: They are having fun their way though. I had fun
CARL: watching them.
CARL: I bet I'd have even more fun if I was playing with
CARL: them.
CARL: Maybe it's okay if I play my way, and my

ARUGULA: Carl?
