First and foremost

I'm an FC Bayern Munich fan.

I love this club because I've been

following it since my childhood.

My parents didn't have time for us.

They were struggling to make ends meet.

They had a butcher's shop,

We played a good game.

Not one of our best matches,

For two or three days I didn't eat,

that's how down I was,

how frustrated.

After that match …

I'm telling you, my life …

It felt like a nightmare.

Really bad.

About two hours later

I drove through Munich.

The streets were empty!

Worse than during COVID.

It was the last game of the season.

For a few days I didn't go to the club.

Hardly anyone felt up to it.

The facility was practically deserted.

Jupp Heynckes phoned every day, totally

motivated to get the team going again.

For two weeks it only went downhill

on the transfer market.

When we met for the first

training session of the new season,

I gathered the team around me,

and I told them, "Guys,

I'm telling you, this season

we're going to win everything."

GERMAN SOCCER LEAGUE SEASON 2012/13

A defeat is always

the team grew together,

to terminate his contract early,

effective July 1, 2021.

that this is the best time to end it,

on June 30.

The season is over.

Fortunately we won the German league.

I think this is a nice conclusion,

and it's also the right time

to pass the baton on to Oliver.
