In 1986, duke lost to louisville

In the national championship.

Is athletically, and I don't

That got all the cool kids'

I love coach k.

I love playing for him.

I love talking to him on off

Days and during practices.

I've been blessed with me not

Having the ability to go to

College, coming straight out of

High school, to have a college

Coach.

Have the ability to go to

College like he couldn't read or

Something, not because he was

Too smart to pass up a

Anyway, the point is that the

Kids who didn't know nothing

About no christian laettner knew

About players on team usa like

And now, somehow, the name mike

Krzyzewski rings out in the

Coach k gets love in

So it don't matter if we're in

Manhattan or harlem.

They know coach k, man.

In the '80s, parents from duke

Wouldn't let their kids get

Within 40 acres of harlem.

Now this team look like the kids

The all-academic duke team that

Everybody talked about was full

'Cause when he did it?
