And he was really trying to hurt him.

And then they got into the river,

and then Shane got on top of Paul.

And Shane just kept on
pushing Paul's head underwater,

just pushing and pushing and pushing.

And I, uh...

I just, um...

[distant water crashing]

I just watched, as Shane drowned him.

All I wanted to do was just to...

move past it, move on, and so I did.

[inhales sharply]

[shaky exhale] Uh...

I've lost every single
meaningful relationship in my life

because of this one mistake, and...

empty.
