27x01 - Episode 1

Post by bunniefuu »

Tonight, a new summer of Big Brother
begins.

Sixteen strangers from across the country
will move into the Big Brother house,

completely cut off from the outside world.

No cell phones, no social media,
no contact with friends or loved ones.

And all summer long, these 112 cameras
will record their every move.

And these 113 microphones will capture
their every word.

So, who will have what it takes to endure
three months of the most challenging

social experiment ever and claim the
$750,000 prize?

That remains a mystery...

for now.

Good evening, I'm Julie Chen Moonves.

In just moments, 16 complete strangers
will check into Big Brother's Hotel

Mystère, where mysteries lurk around every
corner and nothing is as it seems.

Get ready for a night like no other.

A maniacal mastermind, a secret
accomplice, a mystery house guest,

and three action-packed competitions will
unleash a summer of suspense, suspects,

and secrets, challenging our house guests
like never before.

But first, what do you say we get things
started?

Okay.

I think I know what you need.

What?

You're going to Big Brother!

My name is Kelly.

I'm a 29-year-old web designer from South
Dakota.

I will check to see if that domain is
available.

The town that I grew up in is so remote.

We're literally in the middle of nowhere.

Not 50,000, 50.

Growing up here on the farm, my sister and
I only had the sheep and the dogs to talk

to, which made us a little bit weird,
but good weird, we think.

Growing up in this teeny, tiny town,
I needed to get out, so I got my pilot's

license, and I fly wherever I want.

I've been to 42 countries, I've been to
all 50 states, and I've even been to half

of Mexico.

If I can handle a blizzard like this,
I can win!

I know it!

I'm Zach, I'm 27 years old, I'm from
Cartersville, Georgia.

My biggest asset is my athleticism.

I love all the sports, specifically
baseball, pickleball, and golf.

In my past life, I played minor league
baseball, but I'm currently a marketing

manager, and I work with a lot of
different turf companies, so I've been

able to stay in sports.

People see me as this massive jock,
however, I've got this very soft side.

I have a very involved skincare routine.

When women see it for themselves,
they're very impressed.

Father, thank you for today.

My Christian faith is very important to
me.

My dad is a pastor, my mom is Catholic,
and honestly, she's more strict because

she's full Filipino.

When I win the money, I'm going to give a
lot back to my parents.

They help me so much, so I'm going to
provide for them.

You've always put everything into
everything you do, and I expect the same

thing here.

I'm going to be turning that house upside
down.

I'm Ashley, and I'm an attorney in New
York City.

I graduated from Loyola Marymount
University, magna c*m laude, and then I

went on to graduate from Georgetown Law.

I am the Black Owl Woods, okay?

My day job will help me because I am a
strategy assassin, okay?

I'm always thinking at the forefront of,
how can I get to the next step?

What about the showman?

I'm a little nervous.

I think my biggest weakness in the game
will be a boy, unfortunately, because I'm

a lover girl.

They put a man in the house that's 6 feet,
nice skin, brown eyes, IV, muscles.

You know my type.

That's dangerous.

It's dangerous.

The house may get lonely, and I may need
someone to, you know, rub up against, too.

I will win Big Brother because I win at
everything in my life.

They're not going to know what's coming!

And I am not coming out till I have that
$750,000 prize.

Case closed.

Come on, let's go!

Whoo!

Let's go, baby!

Ah!

My name's Riley Jeffries from Luther,
Oklahoma, and I'm a professional bull rider.

I've snapped my right leg in half,
broke the tibia and fibula.

Broken four ribs, some head injuries.

I've broken my jaw twice.

It's an adrenaline rush, going out and
raising some hell, man.

Dear God, I just want to say thank you for
blessing us with each and every single

blessing, Lord.

My family is very close to me.

I got two brothers.

I got one in a wheelchair.

He got cerebral palsy.

He was born with it.

I promise I ain't gonna piss y'all off too
much.

And he pushes me to be the best I can,
and I couldn't thank him enough for that.

No showmances.

What's gonna happen?

Yeah, yeah, what do you think?

No showmances.

The family's ginormous super fans of Big
Brother.

Jesse was my favorite growing up.

Boom!

I want to hang out with him.

Oh, still got it.

He's still going.

You think he'd like me?

Seriously?

Hell yeah.

I feel like this world needs to see some
Riley Jeffries and see what the hell I'm

about.

My name is Amy, and I'm an insurance agent
from Stockton, California.

I'm very successful at my job.

In the last two years, I've been in the
top five in my region.

Oh, my gosh.

Was I number five last year?

Yeah, I was two the year...

Oh, my God, three the year before?

I don't even remember.

Thank you!

I'm so excited!

I'm a single mom of three kids.

I have a 21-year-old, a 10-year-old,
and an 8-year-old.

Oh, my God!

We love Big Brother.

Oh, my gosh.

And what if I do have a really good friend
in the house that betrays me?

I will be so pissed off.

I'm mostly love and light, but my biggest
worry in the house is blowing up on

somebody.

I know I'm going to.

I just don't know how many.

Mama Bear's coming out.

The claws and all.

I'm going to the BB house!

Let's go!

Oh, my God!

Oh, my God!

Let's go!

My name is Adrian.

I'm a carpenter from San Antonio,
Texas.

I would consider myself a bit of a nerd,
okay?

Hello, this is my room.

You can see everything is perfectly
labeled as should be.

Everything should have a place and home.

This is what I call my praying mantis
mansion.

Hey there, bud.

This is Jimmy.

He hasn't hatched yet, but when he does,
he's going to have the best home in the

world.

I love freaking science, you know?

One of my favorite things in the world is
to talk about soap.

There is no lightning without thunder.

I went through like a small germaphobe
phase.

Using your feet to open doors?

Game changer, okay?

The reason why I want to win Big Brother
is to help my mom.

She has three other kids.

She's trying to go through college.

She works all night and she works all day.

I'd be able to take care of the people
that take care of me.

Just bring back the money.

Always, always.

I'm really obsessed with Big Brother.

This is my wall comp.

I want to train to be able to win.

I need to be able to win any comp and
that's what I'm going to do.

I'm Lauren.

I'm 22.

I'm from Lafayette, Louisiana.

I went to school at LSU.

I studied fashion merchandising with a
minor in business.

So how do you feel about this train?

I'm currently working as a bridal stylist,
but if I won, I would open a design

company.

In the house, I feel like people are going
to be assuming that I'm just this

southern, ditzy girl.

What they won't know is that I'm a Big
Brother super fan.

My mom actually got me an H-of-H robe
about seven years ago.

And I've been wearing it pretty much ever
since.

I am single.

My ideal guy would be sort of like a
gentle giant.

The ultimate goal would be to win,
but if I find the love of my life on Big

Brother, I'm not going to stop anything.

I'm bringing southern spice to the Big
Brother house.

My name's Keanu, and I'm a personal
trainer from McKinney, Texas.

My parents are huge Keanu Reeves fans,
so they named me after Keanu Reeves.

Bill and Ted's Excellent Adventure.

I think people would never in a million
years believe that I'm this huge nerd.

I love Star Wars, Lord of the Rings,
and I love playing Dungeons and Dragons.

I am a part-time Dungeon Master.

You guys are in a dungeon.

Sometimes it requires you to do different
voices.

You have fallen for my trap.

I'll be a Barkeep, or I could be a Demon
Lord.

I always like to refer to myself as a
chameleon.

There's so many different aspects to my
personality.

I get along with just about anybody,
and I really think that that's gonna help

my game inside the Big Brother house.

And I will win the 750K.

Hello, house guests.

Welcome to Big Brother.

You are about to begin a summer filled
with mystery, madness, and mayhem.

Could a new best friend save your game,
or will an unexpected enemy end it?

I suggest you keep your friends close and
your enemies closer to claim the $750,000

grand prize.

Who's ready to play Big Brother?

Alright.

Zach.

Amy.

Adrian.

And Kelly.

Alright.

Head on in and explore your new home.

Hotel Mystere.

Oh my god!

This is crazy.

I am in the Big Brother house.

I cannot believe it.

Oh my god, it's so cute!

I am such a big fan.

My kids are fans.

They are watching right now at home,
and I am so excited.

Oh my god, it's so beautiful!

Hi, I'm Amy.

Nice to meet you.

Kelly, nice to meet you guys.

Let's go upstairs.

I want to check it out.

This is so exciting.

Oh

my god, I love this.

I want to do this on my stairs,
but now I need these little gold things.

My first impression of Amy is that she's
very loud.

Oh my god, this is so beautiful!

Oh my god, and the wallpaper.

Very over the top.

Oh my god!

Oh my god!

Oh my gosh, this is stunning!

If this is how loud it is when there's
four of us, I can't imagine 16.

Oh my god, it looks so good!

This is the HOH room.

I live and breathe Big Brother.

I won't tell them I make my own slop.

I won't tell them I slept on the floor to
train for the Have Not room.

The wall comp?

Yeah, I built that.

I had that in my backyard.

Dude, this is way bigger than I ever
imagined.

I'm really excited to see myself k*ll this
game better than anyone has before.

I don't want to break this.

This is stunning!

This is pretty cool.

Oh my god, it's so beautiful.

That leaves Keanu, Lauren, Ashley,
and Riley.

I wish you all well and go join the
others.

Thank you, Julie.

Come on in, you're welcome.

You bet.

Holy crap, baby!

What's going on?

Wow!

I'm Ashley, nice to meet you.

I'm Lauren.

Oh, they're yelling.

They're here.

Oh my god.

Wait, I don't even know where to go.

Wait, I am obsessed.

I have been watching and loving Big
Brother since I was seven years old.

So being here is so surreal.

Hi, I'm Amy.

Hi, I'm Lauren.

Hi, nice to meet you.

I'm really hoping that I'm able to keep
all of this super fan excitement contained

so that other people don't catch on.

I'm Zach.

I'm Lauren.

Lauren, nice to meet you.

My boss, before I left, she told me,
Zach, you cannot simp over any girls when

you enter that house.

But I think Lauren is gorgeous.

She is definitely my type.

Lauren, you're stunning.

Honestly, you're so stunning.

There's like a party over here.

I love this bathroom so much.

You see the toilet?

I got the muscles, I got the brains,
but the one thing that I can't hide is how

much I love Big Brother.

It's got a bidet!

It's a bidet!

I'm obsessed with the gameplay of it,
and I need to keep that on the down low,

because if people find out just how much I
love this game, I'm going to go from huge

muscles to huge threat.

Wow, dude.

The toilet has a bidet.

I know!

We need to keep exploring.

I know.

I guarantee there's more beds right now.

Yeah, there's got to be, dude.

Six beds?

Oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh!

Oh!

Oh!

Hey, come check it out!

There it is!

Hey, we found a new room!

Run!

It's right here.

Oh my gosh.

I saw it!

I saw mystery number one!

What's happening?

This house?

Gorgeous.

The people?

Fun!

But there's only eight of us so far.

Let's go, let's get all the rest of these
people in here so I can send their little

pretty butts on home.

Guys, we're about to have the best summer.

I'm so excited!

Oh my god, how cool!

Welcome back to the season premiere of Big
Brother.

Just moments ago, the first eight
houseguests moved into Hotel Mystere and

are getting to know each other.

But it's about to get a little more
crowded in there.

Let's meet the final eight houseguests.

I'm going to Big Brother!

Yes!

Look!

Welcome to Big Brother.

Look at this!

Welcome to Big Brother!

My name is Catherine.

I am a fine dining server and I'm from
Columbia, South Carolina.

Okay, gotcha.

I'll get that for y'all right now.

I would describe myself as a raging
feminist and I sometimes feel like I don't

fully fit in.

The dating pool is shrinking.

I am incredibly single and I have no
desire to change that.

I like to have fun and at the end of the
day, guys are just a small asset to my

life and not the main focus.

Growing up, things were a little bit
tumultuous and my family, I moved around a

bit, lived with my mom and then my dad.

I raised myself essentially, so I've had
to be resilient throughout my entire life

and that's something that's definitely gonna
help me a lot in the Big Brother house.

Two cat definitely winning.

Definitely winning.

I'm going to play them all and they're not
gonna realize it's happening until it's

too late.

And maybe coming home with a boy.

We'll see about that one.

My name is Vince.

I'm 34 years old from West Hills,
California and I'm currently unemployed.

I find myself here at my parents, but I
try to be productive with each of my days.

Playing ping pong all day, riding bikes
and even juggling machetes.

I have worked a lot of jobs in my
lifetime.

My first job out of college was as a
delivery driver and one of the locations

that I regularly deliver to was the CVS
lot where the Big Brother house is located.

And I used to just imagine myself being in
there, competing, living 24 7.

And now I'm actually getting the
opportunity to do that.

I am actually a very intense competitor.

I played baseball all throughout college,
so I'm gonna have fire in my heart and

steam coming out of my ears.

And I'm winning that $750K.

Oh, my hand!

I'm bleeding.

Just kidding.

My name is Miki.

I'm an event curator and I am from
Atlanta, Georgia.

I am very much so a city girl who enjoys
all types of city things.

Right here is where we're going to have
the private area for all of your exclusive

guests.

As an event curator, I am known as the
fairy godmother of experiences.

I deal with people that have the most
particular and peculiar taste.

Ah!

Slow down.

People that know me that are in the hustle
and bustle of the city probably will never

know that I actually enjoy the peace and
quiet of the countryside.

I grew up riding ATVs, horses,
and doing really country things.

Cheers to you!

I'll definitely be a social threat in the
house.

I'm easy to like.

I want people to feel like they can talk
to me about things and they can trust me.

Absolutely.

Now I am about to curate the best season
of Big Brother you've ever experienced in

your entire life.

We're going to Big Brother!

Oh, my God!

Oh, my God!

Coming in hot, best gamer, coming to play
the best game in the world.

I'm Jimmy.

I'm a 25-year-old strategy consultant
living in Washington, D.C.

But really shifting the way that we're
looking at this initiative.

I used to work for the federal government,
and then BAM!

Our contract is terminated.

And how do I find out?

Twitter.

Whether it's professional or personal,
I've always had to use strategy to get

what I want.

So I'm bringing that level of manipulation
in the Big Brother house.

Are you going to lie about your
profession?

I am, I am.

I can't tell everybody I have a
professional strategy background.

I was playing competitive tennis for 15,

So essentially, I'm just going to tell
everybody in the Big Brother house that

I'm a tennis coach.

My mom and I used to watch Big Brother as
long as I could really remember.

We got to watch Frankie Grande.

A loud and proud g*y man being successful
and showed me that I had a future and I

could be anything I wanted to be.

And I want to play dumb like I do around
you guys.

Honey, that should not be hard.

The biggest game out there is American
government and politics.

I'm ready to bring that energy into the
Big Brother house.

Hey, what's up?

I'm Morgan.

I'm a gamer, a model, and a content
creator in L.A.

I'm also an online streamer.

So I'm always ready for some competition.

Yes!

Let's go!

I'm very much the tie between nerdy and
athletic.

I'm a former Division I collegiate track
athlete.

And I know it's been over 10 years,
but...

Oh, yeah, it's been a while, but I still
got it.

My parents were actually track coaches
when I was born, so I was literally born

on the track.

So I've been doing this a long time.

I feel like I'm definitely ready to be
k*lling it in the Big Brother house.

I mean, hello, this is a game.

Duh, I'm a gamer.

I'm gonna k*ll this.

It's the Big Brother key, bro.

I'm going to Big Brother.

I'm going to Big Brother.

Let's go!

Eva, you're going to Big Brother!

Oh, my God!

I'm Zay.

I'm a 23-year-old door-to-door salesman.

I've lived in Kentucky and Utah,
but right now I'm in Phoenix, Arizona.

Hey, I'm Zay.

I'm just here talking about the...

I grew up in the Mormon church,
so I already had some experience going

door-to-door, preaching the gospel.

I was really sheltered.

I started to realize that I had a
different perspective than what the church

was teaching me.

Oh!

And so I had kind of separated myself from
the church.

Since leaving the church, I've tried so
many things that I've never tried before,

like drinking coffee, drinking alcohol,
dating a lot more.

I was a Division I cheerleader at BYU,
and I like to think I'm a pretty good

athlete.

I heard the slop has a lot of protein,
so I wouldn't even mind being a half-knot.

If I were to, like, put them in check...

Growing up, I was on an academic team.

I did math competitions, and I played a
ton of chess.

People are going to perceive me as some
jock, but I'm going to use that to my

advantage because I'm smart, and I'm going
to be plotting the whole time.

I'll see you in the Big Brother house.

My name is Will.

I love Ben 50!

I'm a college sports podcaster from
Charlotte, North Carolina.

Y'all, we talking about the South Carolina
women's basketball team.

I have three daughters.

Two of those daughters play basketball at
high level, so why not talk about that

sport?

This includes another episode of
Gamecock's Talk with Captain Will.

I'm your man.

The name Captain Will comes from my
military career.

I've served for 22 years.

I met my wife in the Army.

She is my beautiful chocolate drop,
and I love her to death.

Hey, give me a kiss.

My wife and I have a blended family.

We have five children, and we have nine
grandchildren.

I love my grandkids.

I love all of them.

What?

I hate those parents that say,
we're gonna let the kids win.

Nah, nah, nah, nah, nah.

Not with Will.

They're gonna learn to lose.

I watched Big Brother for a lot of years.

I've seen the mistakes, I've seen the
successes, and I'm gonna try to use that

to my advantage.

Captain Will's show, I'm there to win.

I'm an artist in New York City.

I started doing aura portraits about two
years ago.

I was seeing their auras around them
already.

I started drawing people in the park just
for some extra money.

I'm seeing in you a lot of purple.

That usually indicates a lot of
creativity.

I would say I'm the black sheep of my Long
Island family.

They are all teachers in the school
system.

I did get that from them, but I became an
art teacher.

I love everything 60s, everything flower
power, everything go-go, and amazing.

Come on.

Am I athletic?

No, but you have to be competitive to be
an artist living in this city.

And I'm ready to take those skills into
the Big Brother house.

As a starving artist, I need this money.

Hello, house guests.

Welcome to Big Brother.

The game begins the minute you walk
through that door.

And I recommend you tread carefully inside
because this summer is filled with

mysteries.

So, who will you trust?

Who will you target?

The answers could be the difference
between winning or losing the $750,000

grand prize.

Are you ready to move in?

Yes!

When I call your name, please step
forward.

Mickey, Zay, Catherine, and Jimmy.

Head on in.

Hotel Mystere awaits.

Walking into this house, I want to
instantly find people I connect with.

I want to guarantee my safety for this
first week.

Amy and I immediately connect.

I can tell this is somebody I'm really
going to get along with.

I love Amy.

She makes me feel at home.

That leaves Vince, Morgan, Ava,
and Will.

Go on in.

How are you doing?

I'm Riley.

Nice to meet you.

Riley, nice to meet you.

What's up, brother?

Some of these kids, this is the first time
they've been away from home.

First time they've been in an
uncomfortable environment.

How you doing?

I've been in the military for 22 years.

Retired military, retired army.

This is easy money for me.

These kids have no idea what's going to go
on this summer.

I think it's all of us now.

This is crazy!

Mustache, right?

Yes, apparently, I guess.

You can call me that if you'd like.

I'm looking around the house and I'm
noticing there's a lot of bodybuilder type

physiques.

A lot of people that look like they could
be models.

But how many people here can say they live
with their parents?

I don't know if you want to trade,
but let me have the hat.

You want to wear it for a minute?

You want to wear it for a minute?

Oh, God, yes!

I'm definitely noticing some attractive
looking being Keanu.

Also, I'm clicking with Riley.

He's giving a Brad Pitt Western cowboy and
I love that.

Is it looking good?

It's going great.

Okay, I'm going to hold on to this just
for a little bit.

I'll give it back, okay?

I'm here to win.

That's what I'm here to do.

But at the end of the day, if a woman
catches my eye, I'm human.

What am I supposed to do?

Keanu!

You're freaking massive, bro.

Keanu's obviously big as hell.

He's just a really strong, fit guy and I
like that.

I was actually a cheerleader, bro.

I was on the sideline, dude.

My first impression of Zay?

Super charismatic guy, like myself.

Maybe even more.

Potential bromance vibes.

So, you could say that Ted has potentially
found his bill.

I'm Lauren.

Nice to meet you.

You're beautiful.

Same, same, same.

You look like a model.

You look like a model.

I am 100% not letting these house guests
know that I'm a gamer.

And as far as me being a former Division 1
athlete, I gotta keep these g*ns

concealed.

And like this house being a mystery,
well, so am I.

House guests, I need everyone to gather in
the living room right now.

Guys, guys, guys!

Oh, it's on.

I love Julie, but I don't like hearing
Julie's voice call us all into the living

room because I don't know what's going to
happen.

Hello again, house guests.

Well, as you might have deduced,
to survive, you will all need to be

sleuths, tapping into your powers of
observation.

What secrets lurk behind the walls?

How many of you noticed the mysterious HOH
relic that holds the power of the head of

household?

Oh, that's dope.

And what about all of the eccentric
artwork throughout the house?

That's pretty beautiful, man.

I like it.

Oh my God, so fun.

What does all of this mean, and how will
it affect your big brother game?

Remember, our motto, expect the.

..

Oh my God.

Wait, wait.

Yeah, can we turn on the lights?

Turn the lights on, come on now.

Oh my God.

It's gone.

It's gone.

Oh look, Julie's gone.

Julie!

Oh my God.

It's a mystery!

This weird red guy is on the screen with
these really nice eyebrows, I must say.

His eyebrows were flawless.

I am the mastermind behind Julie's
disappearance, and I have also stolen the

HOH relic.

Without Julie or the power contained in
the relic, the game of Big Brother cannot

go on.

Do any of you have what it takes to solve
the case?

I doubt it.

It's not bad.

Pretty confident.

I cannot get a read on the mastermind's
aura, and that is not a good sign.

Prepare for a night of mystery and chaos.

There are paintings in the house!

Oh, there we go.

Oh, this is...

Hello?

It's Julie.

We don't have much time.

He could be listening.

I need you to divide up into two search
parties.

All of you, grab a map.

Eight of you will search for me, while the
other eight will go after the HOH relic.

The houseguest who saves me and the
houseguest who finds the relic will each

get a game-changing reward.

Oh, no!

He's coming!

Hurry!

Are you Julie Missing?

I'm Julie Missing!

Yes, I am!

So, we get our maps.

Some of us need to find this HOH relic,
and some of us need to find Julie.

Girl, hang in there.

We're coming.

It looks like you've made it to my lair.

I've locked your precious Julie behind one
of these eight doors.

To rescue her, you must first build a
bridge to cross the river of scalding hot

lava.

But even if you make it across,
you haven't saved the day just yet.

Behind each door in my lair, you'll hear a
message from Julie, and I hope you were

paying attention, because each message
mentions something about what Julie was

wearing tonight.

Unfortunately for you, I'm so sinister,
I've cloned her voice, and seven of the

messages are false.

That means your observational skills will
be critical, because only one message is

actually her.

If you think you figured out which door
the real Julie is trapped behind,

grab the corresponding keycard, open
the door, and see if you'll be her hero.

But think carefully, because if you unlock
the wrong door, you're eliminated from the

competition.

Figure out which message is true,
and you will rescue your missing host,

and be rewarded handsomely.

I'd say good luck, but that's not
something evil masterminds do.

I feel like I used to feel right before a
big baseball game.

I want to win to just set the tone,
and I have no idea if it's going to

further advance me in the game.

All I know is that I'm here to play.

This game starts...

now.

I

literally cannot believe that I am here
competing at my very first competition of

My Big Brother Summer!

I can't believe it!

In order to find out which door Julie is
behind, I need to build this bridge that

goes over a pit of lava.

Can't spell lava without Ava.

As a Big Brother superfan, I totally got
this.

I absolutely love puzzles.

That's, like, my thing.

What I don't do all the time is puzzles of
this magnitude with these huge pieces that

I'm having to run back and forth.

I'm a bit of a nerd.

You know, I love puzzles, and I want to
win this prize, this reward, this power,

whatever it could be.

Julie, I'm solving this puzzle,
and I'm going to find you.

Ah!

A lot harder than it looks.

As a Big Brother fan, I don't want to win
this competition and put a huge target on

my back, especially this early into the
game.

So I'm taking my time with the puzzles.

Do they fit tight?

Trying to make it seem like I'm actually
trying.

I'm walking, shoving this piece in here,
obviously, where it can't fit, you know?

Big triangle, small triangle.

I'm not going to finish this puzzle.

I'm putting my pieces together on the
bridge, and I'm struggling with the top.

So I see Zack is ahead by a little bit,
and I look over to his puzzle,

and I was like, I could just use his as a
guide.

Okay, so as much as I want to find Julie,
girl, I do not want targets on my back.

So I'm going to have to let someone else
save you this time, and hopefully you get

back soon, girl.

This is awesome.

I just finished building my bridge.

Now I've got to figure out which door
Julie is behind.

And to figure that out, I have to listen
to the recordings coming out of each door.

And I have to decipher which statement is
true and which one is false.

So I gotta work quick because Zack is
right behind me.

It's so chilly and damp in here.

Good thing I'm wearing this very stylish
jacket.

Okay, so I have to remember what Julie was
wearing when we first entered the house.

You know, fashion isn't really my forte,
but I'm pretty sure she wasn't wearing a

jacket.

And I know it's not this door.

How long have I been stuck in here?

I can't believe I broke the watch I was
wearing.

Julie wasn't wearing her watch,
so on to the next door.

I finished my bridge, and then what the
heck do I do next?

Oh my god, I really gotta start paying
attention to all the rules.

How do I hear it?

But I broke my black stilettos.

I finished my bridge, and I noticed that
Adrian is already listening to all of the

doors on the bottom level.

And so I hike it upstairs because I know
that Adrian's already covered majority of

the doors.

Help, I have a premiere to host.

I don't wear all my bracelets on one wrist
for just any old show.

I have no idea if this is true,
but because Adrian has listened to pretty

much every other door, I'm just gonna go
for it, full send it.

Please.

Please.

Let's freaking go, people.

Found Julie.

But what exactly did I win?

I have no clue.

We'll have to wait and see.

All I know is that winning is a great
thing, so I'm fired up, baby.

You have saved me, and you will soon be
rewarded for your efforts.

Let's go.

I also feel like I scared Julie a little
bit.

But first, there's still another
competition to be played.

Okay.

Up next, the remaining eight house guests
go head-to-head in an attempt to find the

missing HOH relic.

Who will win, and what mysteries will be
unlocked?

Stay with us.

Come on!

Can someone get me my shoe?

Welcome back to the season premiere of Big
Brother.

Just moments ago, Zach rescued me from the
Mastermind's lair.

That's one case solved.

Now, it's time for the remaining eight
house guests to solve the case of the

missing HOH relic.

I see you've reached the cavern of stolen
treasures buried deep within my lair.

The HOH relic that I have stolen is hidden
here, in plain sight.

But, I have deviously created many decoys
to fool you.

These fake relics hold no power,
so for the power of HOH to be saved,

you must find the real one.

To figure out which relic is authentic,
you must rely on your memory from earlier

this evening.

But to tempt you into wagering a guess,
I've left clues throughout the lair.

Some you can find now, others will reveal
themselves later in my game.

Why would I leave you clues?

Because for my amusement, anytime someone
chooses the wrong relic, a trapdoor will

send that player to their demise.

But, if the relic you claim is the real
one, you will have foiled my plan.

The Big Brother game will continue,
and I'm sure Julie will reward you for

your noble efforts.

I look forward to watching you all fail,
because your pain really brightens my day.

It's like sunshine, with more screaming.

Does everyone understand the rules of my
game?

Good.

This game starts now.

Earlier

in the night, the HOH relic box went
missing, and we're trying to find it.

There are various clues to help us figure
out which relics are fake and which one is

real.

If I'm the first house guest to find the
true relic and place it on the pedestal,

then I'll win.

We have two clues already revealed.

Red's on top and purple's on bottom.

So we need to figure out which colours are
on the sides.

And then we need to figure out which
shaped keys are in which spot.

There are eight variables for us to
consider here.

The four stones themselves, the order of
the order they're in, along with the

little keys that are on the relics
themselves, and the icon that's within

those keys.

This is harder than it looks.

I want this game-changer power.

It makes no difference to me.

All I know is, Big Brother says it's a
game-changer power.

That's what I want.

I think the most difficult part about this
competition is all the relics have

similarities.

Everything's so close to looking alike.

I'm sure you guys are probably like,
this girl wants to win everything because

she's a gamer.

Eh, wrong.

The last thing I need is a bigger target
on my back.

I mean, throwing this competition is going
to be so easy because honestly,

I don't even know what clues I'm looking
for.

So I find the first clue, and it's like a
red diamond up top.

And I see that there's other clues
scattered throughout.

I'm thinking I got this.

So I grab my relic.

I gotta lock that one in.

Oh my gosh.

I don't want to go up there.

I just saw Keanu fall through,
and that was not pretty.

I'm praying this is the right relic.

Oh jeez.

Oh!

Oh god.

Oh, she won.

Ah!

The

bottom right corner is revealed.

So I see this relic that has the correct
order.

I'm feeling good about this one.

I just want to get up to that pedestal and
see if I'm right.

Congratulations, Jimmy!

You have found the true HOH relic and
restored the power of the Head of

Household, which means the Big Brother
game can continue.

I will join you shortly to reveal what
reward you have won.

When we return, we'll reveal the rewards
that both Zach and Jimmy have earned.

Then, the Head of Household competition
holds its own mysteries.

Who will win and become the first HOH of
the summer?

Plus, the mastermind isn't done yet.

His biggest secret has yet to be revealed.

Stay with us.

Welcome back to the season premiere of Big
Brother.

Earlier this evening, Zach and Jimmy were
victorious in the first two competitions

of the summer.

But what they have won remained a mystery.

Until now.

It feels like a dream.

Maybe it's the sleep deprivation already,
but I... Hello, house guests.

Oh, there's Julie.

Okay.

Julie!

Once again, I want to congratulate Zach
and Jimmy on their victories.

I know you're dying to find out what you
have won.

Yes!

Head of Household.

Slow down.

Zach, you won your competition by finding
the missing host, me.

And you have earned a $10,000 reward.

Oh my goodness!

Woo!

Let's go, baby.

I mean, we're on Big Brother 27.

We win $10,000 on the very first day.

I'm finally living and actually playing
this game.

You're alive!

I'm so fired up right now.

Jimmy, you secured your victory by finding
the HOH relic and restoring the power of

the Head of Household.

Because of this, you have been granted an
extremely valuable reward.

For the first HOH competition,
only four houseguests will be playing.

And it is up to you, Jimmy, to choose
those four competitors.

Oh my god!

No pressure.

It can be anyone you'd like, including
yourself.

Winning Head of Household, or HOH,
would be huge.

You get safety for the week, but you also
have to nominate your fellow houseguests

for eviction.

It's the most powerful position in the
game.

And with this competition, I have a one in
four chance of winning.

I'll give you some time to get to know
your housemates a little better as you

figure out who you want to face off to
become the first HOH this summer.

I'm like, can we trade?

How do you feel about competing in HOH?

Man, it really breaks my heart to even
just think about having to put people up.

I've decided I'm going to compete in this
HOH competition, which means I need to

pick three other houseguests to compete
alongside me.

I don't want to select somebody who's
going to turn around and put me on the

block because my primary goal here is
guaranteeing my own safety.

Okay, that answered my question.

Um, with me, I mean...

Uh...

Yeah, I'm cool with sending this one out.

I'm like, I don't know if this is the best
opportunity for me.

Everyone's pretty fake to the first HOH.

I want people to be genuine with me,
and the first HOH is going to be told

anything that they want to hear by
everyone in the house to make sure that

they stay in this game.

So you'd maybe, like, not this time?

Yeah.

If you have nobody else...

I don't even know if I want to.

A lot of the house doesn't want to be in
the first HOH competition, or maybe

doesn't want to get blood on their hands.

I'm trying not to win HOH.

I can say that to you.

I personally wouldn't want to win first
HOH.

I'm sort of the same thing.

My head is spinning right now.

Who am I going to pick?

Obviously, if you picked me, and I won

Appreciate it, Zach.

I feel safe with you.

I'm fine playing and giving it to you if
that's what you want.

Because you can get safety and I trust
you.

Adrian, I trust.

And he almost won the first comp.

So maybe he'll want to win this HOH and
keep me safe this week.

If you do pick me and I somehow manage to
win, like, you're not going up for me.

Yeah, that's awesome.

You don't have three who are, like,
willing.

I'm willing to do that for you.

I really feel like I can trust Ashley.

And so I feel like throwing her into this
HOH competition helps guarantee my safety.

I still don't know who I'm going to put
up.

Most people don't want to compete.

Really?

Throw me in there.

I can guarantee that I would not nominate
you.

Okay.

If it's, like, a knockout competition,
and it's you versus me at the end,

and I give you a look where I'm like,
Vince, like, I'm going to take this.

Would you give it to me?

Yeah.

Okay.

I feel good with this conversation.

I do too.

So...

I'm really grateful.

Thank you so much for pulling me aside.

I really do want to compete for this head
of household.

And Jimmy has a couple stipulations.

I agreed to them.

Whether I actually follow through with it,
we'll see.

Time will tell.

♪♪♪ Okay.

It's time to find out who will be
competing in the first HOH competition of

the summer.

Jimmy, you've had time to hear from your
new housemates.

It's now your job to reveal who you have
chosen to play for the power of head of

household.

Please head to the front of the living
room and give us your decision.

My first decision is that I'm going to
play in this HOH.

Woo!

I think we're all here to play and compete
and I want to do that.

So, next joining me up here is actually
going to be Adrian.

Woo!

Woo!

Let's do it!

Next competing is Ashley.

I don't mind that Jimmy picked me to be
one of the four to play in the HOH.

Picking me shows me that he trusts me not
to put him up.

But let me be very clear, I do not want to
win this HOH.

And my last pick is...

Vince.

Oh!

I'm excited.

I'm like, I'm able to control my destiny.

So when Jimmy picks Vince, I'm a little
thrown off because I haven't talked much

with him.

Woo!

Yeah!

I am so excited to compete in the HOH
competition.

I don't care about being viewed as a
potential threat by winning the first HOH.

All I care about is self-preservation and
winning this first HOH is the only way I

can guarantee that.

Up next, the first battle for HOH plays
out.

Four houseguests compete, but only one
will be crowned head of household.

Then, we've been dropping clues all week.

Have you figured it out?

The biggest surprise of the night is
coming up.

The houseguests may think that everyone
has moved in, but a mystery houseguest

awaits.

Stay with us.

Just moments ago, Jimmy was given the
power to choose four houseguests to

compete in the first HOH competition of
the summer.

Now, Adrian, Ashley, Jimmy, and Vince will
face off to become the most powerful

player in the game.

Let's head to the mastermind's lair and
get things started.

Hello, houseguests.

Hi, Julie.

The power is up for grabs.

The winner of this competition will become
the first head of household of the summer.

Safe for the week, the HOH must nominate
fellow housemates for eviction.

This competition is called Destroy the
Lair.

And that's exactly what you will be
attempting to do.

Before each of you is a BB blaster that
can destroy the mastermind's lair,

your job is to balance cores on the BB
blaster.

Once all six cores are balanced,
race to press down the plunger at the end

of your Lane.

Once pushed, your cores must remain
balanced for ten seconds.

The first person to do this will become
the first head of household of the summer.

Does everyone understand?

Yes.

Because this competition starts now.

I do want to win this summer's first head
of household.

I'm a competitor.

I play to win, so I'm going into this
competition g*ns blazing.

Some people might think that winning the
first HOH is not a good idea because it

could paint a target on your back right
off the bat, but there is absolutely no

way I could allow myself to be the first
one out.

No shot, not going to happen.

Only way to guarantee that is to win the
first HOH.

In this competition, we have to balance
six cores on our BB blaster, but we have

to be careful because the arms of this BB
blaster tip from side to side.

Any wrong move and our cores will come
crashing down.

The first person that balances all six
cores for ten seconds will destroy the

mastermind's layer and become the first
head of household.

I want to win this HOH, but I would
potentially be okay with Adrian or Jimmy

winning it versus Vince.

I haven't really had the chance to talk to
him that much.

I don't know if he wants to come after me.

I don't know what is going on in that
little mind of his.

There are pros and cons to winning this
head of household.

If I win this HOH, it's going to put a
massive target on my back, but it will

give me safety and power.

So maybe I really do want to win this
thing.

I'm currently unemployed, and I like to
fill my days with skateboarding,

playing ping pong, juggling.

So I like to think I know a thing or two
about hand-eye coordination and balance.

Good job, Jimmy.

Stop.

Oh, we jinxed it.

Sorry, Jimmy.

The most difficult element of this
competition is getting the dang cores to

balance on the beam.

This is harder than passing the bar exam.

Oh my goodness.

You're good, Ashley.

Let's go.

Don't stay.

Rinse the waist.

You got it.

Nice job, guys.

Kind of like that.

You're good, Jimmy.

Come on, Jimmy.

This is a type of competition where you
need to move slow and steady and be

extremely precise.

After a couple of failed attempts,
I realized that I can inch them out by

centimeters to make sure that the BB
Blaster is balancing perfectly.

Vinny!

Nice.

Good job, Vinny.

Nice, Adrian.

Nice.

Adrian is making a lot of progress,
but I just need to focus on getting these

last two cores balanced.

I cannot be distracted by anything else
going on.

Oh my goodness.

Oh, there you go, Ash.

Oh, oh.

Oh, oh my gosh.

Oh!

It's okay, it's okay.

Oh, he's good at it.

Oh, oh, oh.

Wow.

Now

all I have to do is push my plunger,
cross my fingers, and pray that these

cores stay balanced for ten seconds.

Yes!

Congratulations, Vince!

You are the first Head of Household of the
summer.

I went from delivering packages to the CBS
lot and dreaming of being in the Big

Brother House one day to becoming the very
first Head of Household of Season 27.

Yes!

Head back to the Big Brother House now
because the Mastermind's lair is about to

be destroyed.

Wait, what?

Vince wins and I'm like, what?

Again?

I really don't know where his head is at
and I'm just hoping he doesn't see me as a

threat because I am not trying to leave
this.

Of all the people I picked to play this
Head of Household competition,

I felt the best with Vince.

I feel like I can really work with Vince
moving forward and I feel like I'm going

to be safe this week.

But again, it's Big Brother.

Expect the unexpected.

Bro, let's just pause real quick and
acknowledge how nice this house is.

Yeah, this is insane.

This is by far the best house they've ever
had.

When I get a house, I'm going to m*rder
Mystery Theme House.

That's what I want.

House guests, I need everyone to gather in
the living room, please.

Once again, congratulations, Vince.

As the first Head of Household of the
summer, I have some big news for you.

Actually, for all of you.

If you watched last season, you'll recall
that a twist forced the Head of Household

to not nominate two, but three house
guests for eviction.

And those three battled live for a chance
to come off the block on eviction night.

Well, this is no longer just a twist from
last season.

Okay.

This season, it's a permanent part of the
Big Brother game called the BB

Blockbuster.

That's right, Vince.

You will soon nominate three housemates
for eviction.

And those three will face off live on
eviction night in the BB Blockbuster

competition.

The winner of that competition will
immediately come off the block,

leaving the remaining two house guests to
face the live vote in eviction.

Great.

The AI Arena is back, but now it's called
the BB Blockbuster.

So now, I need to nominate three house
guests for eviction, not just two.

Plus, one of them is going to win the BB
Blockbuster and come off the block.

And one of the other two nominees is going
to be saved by the votes.

I am essentially guaranteeing that two
people are going to be mad at me.

That is double the amount of people that I
want mad at me this early in the game.

There is a lot to consider.

Oh, this dude.

So sorry to interrupt, Julie, but it's my
turn now.

House guests, you may have destroyed my
lair, but you haven't stopped me.

I promised a night of mystery and chaos,
and I meant it.

Yes, you found Julie and the power of HOH,
but this time, I'm not taking something

from the game.

I'm adding something to it.

Oh, dear God, do not let it be another
house guest.

Say hello to your new roommate.

Oh, sh**t!

Oh, my gosh!

Oh, my gosh!

Watch the stairs.

Watch the stairs.

Watch the stairs.

Someone in heels.

Well,

it is definitely not another house guest.

It is THE house guest.

Rachel!

Rachel!

Rachel!

Are you really serious, big brother?

That's what we're doing.

That is what we're doing.

We ran Rachel into the game.

Hello, house guests.

Rachel won this show.

She's one of the best that has ever done
it.

Expect the unexpected, and I had no idea.

Oh, my God!

It's Rachel Riley.

I am so excited to have an icon in the
house.

I hope you are ready for a summer filled
with the Rachel Riley.

I'm back, b*tches.

I was on Big Brother 12.

Flurrys, you better grab a life vest.

I'm the winner of Big Brother 13.

Congratulations, Rachel.

You are the winner of Big Brother.

And I'm here to show these newbies how to
play Big Brother.

Is this real?

Oh, my God.

Is this real?

I am absolutely jumping up and down and
screaming, and I fear that this has

revealed my Big Brother super fan secret
that I was trying to keep.

Hi, everyone!

Hi!

Wow.

She's high.

Rachel Riley on the Mount Rushmore of Big
Brother, and everybody's cheering.

Oh, my God.

I'm looking around like, what are you guys
doing?

She's a huge threat in this game.

You should be terrified right now.

Wait, this is it.

You're actually staying?

I am staying!

Well, introduce yourselves.

Okay.

Should we go around?

Yeah, let's go around.

Okay, I'm Amy.

I'm 43 years old.

Oh, my God!

I see you're all getting to know each
other, but there is still one more mystery

to solve.

Your new roommate is officially in the
game, but she is not the 17th houseguest.

What?

You see, I've had an accomplice this whole
time, and my accomplice is one of you.

This accomplice helped me cut the lights,
helped me steal the HOH relic,

and unlocked the secret passageway that
allowed a new player into the game.

Why didn't he notice?

I told my accomplice if they could do all
of this and remain undetected,

they would become a real houseguest,
meaning 17 of you will be vying for the

grand prize.

But if the majority of you can
successfully determine who my accomplice

is, they will be immediately removed from
the house, and only 16 of you will be

playing this summer.

Let's see how good your deductive skills
really are.

Wait, do they go home if we figure it out?

We just have to figure it out by a certain
time, and then if we don't, then they

stay.

And if we do, then they go.

You seem to know a lot about this.

I'm just repeating what Humble said.

You just got here.

So if today has not been crazy enough,
Rachel freaking Riley has also entered the

house, and then the man with the eyebrows,
obviously my favorite guy, has the

audacity to say that someone in this house
could be an accomplice.

Like an accomplice.

It could literally be someone that I
literally just rubbed elbows with,

someone I'm literally just like,
oh my gosh, we're about to sleep next to

each other.

I mean, it could even be me.

Okay, it's not me.

Literally everyone is a suspect.

Whoever this accomplice is, is an
extremely good liar.

I don't know if I'm gonna get k*lled in
the bathroom with a candlestick.

It's day one, and this is immediately
already the craziest summer ever.

I point fingers at nobody.

You just got here.

So, who is the secret accomplice?

And will the house guests figure it out?

Tune in Sunday as the witch hunt to uncover
the mastermind's accomplice plays out.

Will they be discovered and be ejected
from the game, or will they go undetected

and become the 17th house guest?

Plus, the first nominations of the summer.

Which three house guests will find their
games in jeopardy?

Then, Wednesday launches our summer-long,
super-sized 90-minute Wednesday episodes.

The first power veto is up for grabs.

Who will win?

And will it be used to save one of the
nominees from the block?

And next Thursday, it's the first eviction
night of the summer.

Who will save their game in the BB
Blockbuster?

And who will be given the infamous title
of first house guest evicted?

It all plays out live next Thursday.

And be sure to sign up for the live feeds
to watch all of the mysteries play out

Feeds will be open at 9.30pm Pacific,
immediately following Sunday's episode.

For now, let's eavesdrop on the house
guests.

From outside the Big Brother house,
I'm Julie Chen Moonves.

Love, one another.

Good night.

Good night.
