[Rabbit] I think we need to step it up.

We need a big-money build.

Lamborghini, maybe a Porsche, a Ferrari.

That's the only way
we're gonna meet our goal.

I mean, exotics are big money,
but they cost a lot of money.

I just wanna point out
we all have a lot of equal risk in here

between our business, our families,
lookin' at houses down here.

I mean…

I didn't come all the way out here
to strike out.

You didn't have Carlos
and you lookin' at houses out here

just so we can, "Eh. Make it work."

I mean, we set a goal, damn it.
Let's hit it.

You know, parts aren't gonna be cheap.

[Rabbit] We gotta buy it right.

-That's it.
-[Rabbit] And we've gotta buy it smart.

But if we do those things,
that's gonna slingshot us to our goal.

[Jaime] I'm startin' to understand
where Rabbit's coming from.

If we wanna jump in the ring
in a different weight class,

we gotta step it up,
or we're gonna end up limping home.

[Wes] You know, hittin' our goal's
what we're here to do.

I… I mean, it's risky.

You know, we could put
all of our eggs in one basket.

But I'm a risk-taker.
I'm down to go for it.

Same here. It's scary,
but that's why we're talking about it.

So you both are in?

-[Rabbit] What's goin' on, sis?

-I brought my girlfriend, Dazza.
-[Scooter] Hi, Dazza.

-Hola!
-[Scooter] Big fan of yours.

-[Dazza] Thanks.
-Nice to meet you.

Scooter's the one I was telling you about.

-[Scooter] Uh-oh.
-[Dazza] I hear you're a big lowrider fan.

-[Scooter] Oh…
-This is for you. It's my Homie.

-So I'm next to you all the time.
-Ándale.

-[Jaime] She has her own Homie.
-Thank you, Dazza. Thank you.

-A lowrider icon here.
-[Scooter] Oh man.

Dazza flew in from California
to come and check out the car we built.

We've supported each other
as ladies of lowriding

for a couple decades.

What I want is for her
to take pictures in front of the car.

-Let's get some attention on it.
-[Rabbit] Love it.

[Jaime] This is
our '95 Cadillac Fleetwood.

-This is a lot of work.
-[Jaime] Yeah.

-[Dazza] I love this lace here.
-[Jaime] Mm-hmm.

Let's get on this side.

[Jaime] You know she's done more covers
for Lowrider than any other model?

-[Dazza] Flip the switches, girl.
-Yeah, right?

Now that is a lowrider.

Dazza's seen
tens of thousands of these cars.

She's signing off on it
that it's a great build,

especially for our first lowrider.

That's a big deal for us.

-[Jaime] We're still taking pictures?
-[Dazza] Yeah, I'm not leaving.

[Jaime] And by the looks of it,
people love the fact she's here.

-Hey. Long time no see.
-Hey, Kim!

How are you doing?
This is my friend Rabbit.

-[Kim and Rabbit] Nice to meet you.
-[Scooter] I know her.

She's a bar girl
at the Paso Del Norte Hotel.

Artists, musicians, and all kinds
of famous people stayed there.

[Kim] We've been there since 1912.
You should come.

[Scooter] I called her. Her uncle is
in the market for a new lowrider.

He would be interested in this definitely.

He's been looking for an OG Caddy
for a while.

He's gonna love
that paint job and that lace.

[Rabbit] I love it.

I'm gonna go get him.
I'll be right back, okay?

-[speaks Spanish] Thank you.
-I love it.

-Come see us.
-[Kim] See you guys.

-Not bad, dude.
-[Rabbit] I like how this is goin'.

Got a lot of attention on the car.
We've got Dazza here and one on the hook.

[Scooter] What more could we ask for?

-[Rabbit] All in-house.
-Yeah, it's in-house, man.

-Yeah.
-Sí, sí.

[Rabbit] You'd look good in this.

-[Kim] Hey!
-[man] How y'all doin'?

-[Kim] My uncle.
-[Scooter] Rabbit.

-Scooter. Good to meet you.
-What's up?

[Scooter] So you're interested
in a lowrider.

I've been looking for a Cadillac.

-[Scooter] Go ahead.
-Check it out, tío.

-[Rabbit] Check her out.
-Be our guest.

[in Spanish] The rims look very shiny.

-[in English] That's real nice.
-El dorado.

[Rabbit] Check out the lacework.

-Raindrops, stripe work, panel work.
-[Charlie] Very nice.

-That's a lot of detail.
-[Rabbit] A lot of candy.

Custom interior, Luxor wires,
Hoppo hydraulics all the way around.

We've got the best of the lowrider scene
in a '95 Cadillac,

which is the last of
the full-frame big Caddies.

Does it have hydraulics or bags?

-Hydraulics. Bags are for groceries.
-[Charlie] There you go.

-Groceries!
-This is a lowrider.

-Can you lift it?
-[Rabbit] Of course.

[Scooter] Hang on.

There's some nice 'draulics.

So what do you think?

I like it. I've been lookin' for a while.
How much are you guys askin'?

We're askin' 80,000.

-Eighty?
-Yeah.

How about, uh, 60?

-[Rabbit] Can't do that.
-No.

We just finished this car.
It's not even online yet.

-[Scooter] Mm-hmm.
-Seventy.

[Rabbit] You're gettin' warmer.

-Warmer?
-[Scooter] Close.

-Getting close.
-[Rabbit] But…

Um…

[Rabbit] You know what? Hold that thought.

Check out the paint, man. It's…

[Rabbit] Hey, Dazza. Can you do us
a huge favor and just come stand by me?

Just a minute.

-[Charlie] …to do all the details?
-[Scooter] A couple of weeks.

Charlie, Dazza. Dazza, Charlie.

-[Charlie] Nice to meet you.
-Hola.

-The one and only.
-[Rabbit] The one and only.

You know, she's not modelin'
with anybody else's car.

-[Charlie] Is that right?
-She's here hangin' out with Jaime and us.

So you're at 70, I'm at 80.

Let's bump that number up.
Let's do 75, call it a day.

[Dazza] This car is perfect.

I love this color.

Oh my gosh.

This is El Paso's finest.

-All right, man, 75.
-It's done.

-I love it when a deal comes together.
-75.

-[Rabbit] We gotta do paperwork quick.
-Let's do it.

Make sure you sign that check.

-[Jaime] Let's get some drinks tonight.
-You did it.

[Jaime] Today was a great success.

We made $31,000 in profit
on this Fleetline

and almost $16,000 in profit
on the Mercedes sale.

But with the rental
of our new shop truck, trailer,

and the Lambo purchase,
we're back down to around 280,000.

With only four weeks left,

we're just a little more than halfway
to our goal.

But all hope is not lost,

because we still have
the Lamborghini in play.

-Well, we got rid of that one.
-[Rabbit] Another one down.

-[Scooter] Another one. Oh!
-[phone ringing]

Somebody's calling.
Oh, It's Chema. Hang on, guys.

-[in Spanish] Are you there?
-[Chema] Yes, I am here.

What is it, Chema? I put you on speaker.
Here's Jaime and Rabbit with me.

What's up?

Okay.

Hey, I've just been offered
a '68 Suburban.

I'm not interested,
but I don't know if you guys are.

Hold on, I'll tell my colleagues here.

[in English] So Chema's found
a '68 Suburban for us.

That could be a winner.

[in Spanish] Where?

In Ojinaga. The Suburban is in Ojinaga.

Órale, okay.

[in English] That's a couple of hours
away from here.

I mean, it might be worth it
if it's in good shape.

-What do you think?
-Oh yeah.

[in Spanish] Yes, send me the information,
and then I'll talk to them.

-I will send you the information.
-Thanks, Chema.

[in English] Sounds good.
I gotta get back to Dazza.

Looks like you have another lead.

We'll see ya.

[Spanish-language pop music playing]

I think it's in the back, he said.

[Rabbit] I don't know if we wanna go
all the way back there.

I like a… I like quick exits.

Yep, right here's fine.
Let's go check it out.

[groans]

[Scooter chuckles]
Got a good feeling about this.

[Rabbit] Typically,
I don't chew my cabbage twice.

-Mm-hmm.
-But we made good money with the last one.

[Scooter] Yeah, that Suburban
we fixed up last summer? Pretty cool.

of the best barbecue in downtown.

[Rabbit] Make it happen.

A '68 is pretty desirable.

The second gens
always seem to sell better to me.

[Scooter] Oh, there it is, look.

Rrrrrr! Ay-yi-yi!

-[Rabbit] You get way too turned on.
-Ooh!

Man! How you doing?

-He gets so excited about damn Suburbans.
-It's a three-door Suburban.

Only the passenger side had a back door,
so the mom could deal with the kids.

Yes, that's kind of sexist, but, you know,
that's the way they were made.

All my Chihuahuas could fit
back there, man. Look at that.

We did really good on our first Suburban.

This one's a cool truck. It really is.
It could be a great truck.

It needs a lotta work,
so you gotta buy it cheap.

Ah, that old car smell. I love that.

-[in Spanish] Good afternoon.
-Are you Lupe?

-Yes, I am. What do you need?
-Chema recommended you to me.

He told me you had a truck
that you might sell…

[in English] Nice to meet you.

[in Spanish] And we came to see it.

This is Rabbit, and I am Scooter.

Okay.

-How much do you want for it?
-I've had this car for a long time.

It has a lot of sentimental value
if you want it.

-[in English] It has sentimental value.
-I heard that.

It's one of the first,
uh… vehicles she bought.

-The kiss of death, when they say that.
-[Scooter] Yes. Uh-huh!

[speaking Spanish]

-She wants $13,000 for it.
-Oh sh**t. Yeah. Um…

-There's no way.
-That's too much.

Yeah, I'm wantin' to be,
you know, about a quarter of that.

-What's that over there?
-Uh…

[speaking Spanish]

[Lupe speaking Spanish]

She says it's not for sale,
but if we want it…

-Does it run and drive? Got a title?
-[translates]

-[speaking Spanish]
-[in Spanish] Shall we go see it?

[in English] Let's go look at it.

[Rabbit] Oh my God.

-[Scooter] What? What is it?
-[Rabbit] Squarebody, short-bed.

-[Scooter] What year is this?
-[Rabbit] Uh…

'84, '83.

[Lupe speaking Spanish]

[Scooter] She says it belonged to her son.
He left the truck here.

[speaking Spanish]

She says it's just taking up space here,
and she's willing to get rid of it.

This is one of
the hottest-selling trucks right now.

Squarebodies, '73 through '87.

This is a no-brainer.

Squarebodies are where it's at.

Short-bed, no serious rust issues.
This right here is a needle in a haystack.

I'll be honest. This is a way better buy
than the Suburban.

-Ask her if she'd take 1,500 bucks for it.
-Okay.

[speaking Spanish]

-You are interested? You want it?
-Yes.

-You like it?
-Yes.

$2,500 and take it away.

[in English] 2,500 for it. 2,500 bucks.

We'll take it.

[in Spanish] Sold, it's a deal.

Shake hands.

[in English] Thank you.

[in Spanish] Sold.

[both speaking Spanish]

-Okay. [speaks Spanish]
-[in English] Sold.

It's cash, yes.

-[Rabbit] Yes.
-Okay.

[Scooter and Lupe speaking Spanish]

She'll get the title right now, she says.

[Rabbit] There you go. That's for you.

[Scooter and Lupe speaking Spanish]

[Rabbit] Thank you.

The Suburban's cool, but even
if we coulda got it for that price,

that was a lot of work.

[Scooter] I had no idea these '80s trucks
are such a hot commodity right now.

Literally, they had one
run through the sale last week.

Brought over 100 grand.

-Really?
-Yes.

Yeah, okay. Right decision. Again.

I trust you, Rabbit.
You haven't led me astray yet.

Dinero fácil.

Easy money.

-Easy money, sí.
-Dinero fácil.

-There you go!
-I'm learning Spanish.

[Scooter] Yeah, you are! Yes, look at you.

We're going places. Yes, we are.

[Wes] I'm ready
to get this Lamborghini unwrapped.

I wanna see what's underneath.
I know Rabbit got a good deal on this.

It's kinda got me worried.
Hopefully, it's in good shape.

All right, it's red.

Well, at least now we know
the original color was red.

Not only was this thing wrapped in pink,
the pink was on top of a green wrap.

I'm not likin' what I see.

Jaime, you gotta see this.

[sighs heavily]

-Oh…
-[Wes] It's no longer pink, but damaged.

[Jaime] We got a gouge over here.

This is exactly
what we were all afraid of.

Looks like it's been in a fender bender.

Hopefully, it's just the bumper.

And that's already way expensive enough.

-[Wes] What's the deal with the bumper?
-[Jaime] Look at the holes back there!

Looks like somebody
put a license plate on eight times.

But who in their right mind would…

Drill into a Lamborghini?

Drill one, two, three, four, five,
six, seven, eight, nine holes

to put a license plate on?

-That's what I'm saying.
-In a Lamborghini.

[Jaime] I'm concerned.

[Wes] It looks like the paint
is actually separating from the base coat.

-[Jaime] I see that.
-[Wes] From the, uh, primer.

-You know, this is all dollar signs.
-I know.

This is gonna k*ll us on budget.

What I'm worried about
is the paint's not faded.

It's actually comin' loose
from the primer.

So it needs to be stripped entirely, then?

It's gonna have to be sanded
all the way down,

put in a sealer to make sure
the paint job we put on it

is actually gonna adhere to the primer.

I mean, that's completely flakin' off.

This car appears to have lived many lives.

Who knows what color it was before?

Lamborghini would never let this car
out of the factory

without sealin' the paint,

so it had to be an amateur
that painted this.

Between this, the damage to the bumper,

this is really gonna be
a massive hit to our budget.

We gotta disassemble this thing now
to sand it down, to paint it correctly.

You know, we're gonna have to be
super careful takin' everything apart,

you know, the lights out.

Anything we find that keeps breakin'
on this, it's just gonna be more money.

-Showin' its true colors.
-[Jaime] It is.

Literally.

[rock music playing]

-[Scooter] Man, I need to make a pit stop.
-You gotta take a scooter?

I gotta take a scooter, shake the rabbit.

[laughing]

Oh God!

-Ay.
-[Rabbit] Would you look at that?

That's Cisco.

[Scooter] Yeah, man.
The guy who sold us the Mercedes.

[Rabbit] Look at that damn Trans-Am.

-[Scooter] Are we gonna follow him?
-[Rabbit] You're damn right.

[Scooter] Like toilet paper
on a shoe. Ándale.

[Rabbit] Oh yeah. That's a Mexican plate.
We've got competition.

We're up on him. There we go. There we go.

-[Rabbit] I wanna see where he's goin'.
-[Scooter] No, we wanna see where.

-Hmm.
-It's a good-lookin' Trans-Am too.

-[Scooter] Yes, it is.
-I guarantee you it's not his aunt's car.

I think we'll stop that son of a b*tch
and make him lie.

Make him lie to us about it.

-[Scooter] He's turning left.
-[Rabbit] I think he's heading into town.

[Scooter] I wonder if he's picked up
that we're following him.

I hope so.

[dramatic music playing]

[Scooter] Damn,
he's turning into a body shop.

-[Rabbit] Am I paranoid now?
-[Scooter] No, you were right.

We need to find out
if that's the competition.

-What are you gonna do, man?
-I am gonna get out and talk to him.

-What are you gonna do?
-No, I'm getting…

I'm getting out with you too, man.
I got your back.

[Rabbit coughs]

Where'd you get the Trans-Am at?

[theme music playing]
