used for carrying crews

If you've never
seen one before,
Today is your lucky day.

This handcar will be
the main attraction
Of today's challenge.
Teams will race this
old fella but remember,
There's only one pump
So players will have to
be perfectly synchronized.
This is canada's ultimate
handcar hustle.

In this tandem challenge,
Two players from each team must
pump this 500-pound handcar
400 metres across the rails.
The key to maximizing speed
Is both players must push
and pull in perfect unison.
At the turnaround point,
They have to stop,
Reverse direction
and head back.
Teams must cross
the finish line
And land their car exactly
in this narrow stop zone.
There are time penalties for
overshooting the finish line.
The further the team goes,
the longer the penalty,
But they can try to pump
their car back into place.
Once parked,
One player must
hold down the brake
Until their partner puts the
safety wedges under the wheel.
If a player lifts their
foot off the brake
Without the wedges in place,
It's a devastating
two minute penalty.
The team with the fastest
time wins the most points.

on 100 foot ziplines.

They must pull a rickety rope
and plank bridge into place.
Then, the whole team
must safely carry
The heavy twelve and a half
pound bags across the bridge
Any way they can.
Any bags missed or dropped
down into the frigid waters,
Will add a crushing

fat tire desert bike race.

In this challenge,
Solo players race fat tire
bikes against each other
Over two kilometres
On the shifting sands
of the carcross desert.
This ultimate endurance
test starts on the dunes,
Winds through the trees,
Then emerges back
on the open sand.
Players must continuously
pedal fast to avoid sinking
Or losing their balance
in the desert sand.
The fastest player wins
six points for their team.
